Aww! This is fantastic! He may end up with some really fantastic films under his belt, after all!

Theo James is my future husband. We also share a birth day!

Full frontal or don’t care

Beautiful brown man.

Longless was a piece of shit. This looks even more annoying. Neon makes hipster garbage films. Next.

Theo James did not age well. He looks like he’s in his 50s.

by Anonymousreply 7January 13, 2025 2:27 AM

You shut your cunt mouth, R7.

And the monkey sings "Angels" at the climax, right? And then sings "Millenium" over the ending credits?

I actually loved "Longlegs". It was my favorite horror film of 2024 ("The Substance" was second). Atmosphere and tone-wise, I just found everything about it intoxicating and truly, oppressively scary. The screenplay and plot twist may have been a bit too out there for some, but I didn't even care because I was so engrossed in it. I absolutely loved that film.

This looks less up my alley, but I will give it a chance. I saw a redband trailer for it at the "Nosferatu" screening I went to on Christmas Eve. It looks quite gory, but it doesn't look remotely scary to me.

I haven't seen any Osgood Perkins films so far, but I'm happy he's making movies. I love and miss his father all the time. It's very sweet that Osgood is in the business. I must get around to watching one of his films.

NEPO!

I read the King story years ago but don’t remember much about it. Most of his short stories don’t have enough meat to translate well to feature film length.

by Anonymousreply 13January 13, 2025 3:42 AM

Does he love cock like his neurotic, gay dad or go "splat" like Mom?

by Anonymousreply 14January 13, 2025 3:46 AM

There're two of him! A dual role for Theo James, playing twins.

by Anonymousreply 15January 13, 2025 4:10 AM

I am the pretty thing that Ives in the house

by Anonymousreply 16January 13, 2025 7:50 AM

I guess we need to have a death match over him R2. I'm claiming him as my FH.

Had no idea he was playing both brothers. Does he get two paychecks?

by Anonymousreply 18January 13, 2025 3:42 PM

Early reviews look good! I didn’t know this was a dark comedy.

So far I've generally liked Oz Perkins' movies (I loved Longlegs, which I know was controversial here), but the main draw for me is the fact that you get double Theo James in this movie. The man does things to me.

Theo James is sex on legs and everything about that trailer looks great, so it's a yes from me dawg.

I watched his dad and mom in Remember My Name not long ago. Tony looked grim through the whole thing and it was hard to buy him as a construction worker. I can’t believe for a minute that was a happy marriage.

I tried to watch Longlegs for the first time last night and I kept falling asleep.

I saw it the other night. It's over the top gory but not scary at all. The first half of the movie introduces Theo James' twin characters as kids and it's the better part of the movie. Sadly I have to say James isn't very good as either brother. He seems to be channeling Jeff Goldblum for no good reason. It's worth a watch if you like comedic bloodbaths a la Peter Jackson's Dead Alive or the Evil Dead movies.

by Anonymousreply 25February 23, 2025 9:15 PM

I figure it’s like Slither, one of my fav movies.

by Anonymousreply 26February 23, 2025 11:02 PM

It's not scary but it's fun - it's like one of the Final Destination movies. It's an extremely nihilistic comedy, really

by Anonymousreply 27February 23, 2025 11:40 PM

Final Destination 2 scared me when I was driving home.

by Anonymousreply 28February 24, 2025 12:37 AM

I’m watching this now on Hulu. It’s pretty good.

by Anonymousreply 29August 8, 2025 12:13 AM

Truly gripping update. R29. Certainly worth bumping a six month old thread for.

by Anonymousreply 30August 8, 2025 12:40 AM

Here’s another update: R30 is an asshole.
