Despite loving the series Better Things, I hated this girl...Her name- everything.
I hated her even more when critics were giving her an Oscar nomination 6 months ago...
Now after seeing Anora and seeing this Criterion video
I like her! She is lovely- refreshingly open and has a LOVELY speaking voice-
I have ever seen an interview with her, but this sealed the deal for me. Lovely young lady.

I liked the cast of Better Things and the show in general.
Mikey Madison has a striking look. She’s not beautiful in a traditional sense, but she’s certainly not bland.
I enjoyed her trip into the. Rotation closet. She’s unpretentious and unforced as she weeds through the selections.

I dug how she chose Heavens Gate at the end- That's where her age showed- I do not think that he knew that film's history and it was charming.
And Five Easy Pieces? How could I not love her.
