Notice how with those Times Square advertising screens, you really can't make out anything. They all cancel one another out. It all blurs together.

Yet the dumb old "Camel" sign remains memorable and iconic. Admiral, Canadian Club, Bond, Castro...I can still see them.

It's the last time I'm watching it. CNN was horrible, who was that chick they had singing at the end? All the hand holding and kissing acting like all is well, I'm simply too old to pretend that the world isn't on fire and 2025 is the start of 4 years of misery.

I watched some fireworks around the world this afternoon (day time in the USA) and Dubai had an impressive display. Australia did well, they feel rather removed from the rest of the world and people there tend to love to travel.
