Yoko Ono, Eva Marie Saint and Jim Lovell all predicted too.

For some reason it displays 2021 in the above link but when you click through you do get the new 2025 list.

I didn't even know some of these dried up... I mean people were still alive. I didn't even know Hans Blix was a real person, lol.

So old people are going to die? Where's the 2025 Anton Yelchin or River Phoenix?

r3 I agree a few younger wildcards would make it more interesting.

Someone from SNL…maybe Victoria Jackson…but it may be an original cast member.

r5 What about someone like Bieber ,Lindsay Lohan or Demi Lovato?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 4, 2025 12:30 AM |
R7 I think Lindsay is ok these days … Bieber too…and I’m not terribly familiar with Demi and her little quirks.

Poor Esther Rantzen. She's a British broadcaster who did a great deal for abused children by founding the Childline charity. Now, she's got terminal cancer and is a huge force behind the assisted dying bill that recently passed in the House of Commons. She's a wonderful person.

Anyone over 70 cannot be considered a surprise death.

Dead pool players: Old age is extremely unreliable, ask the bitch who picked Lady Bird Johnson for years. Cancer is your friend.

r12 turns 94 this year is what the list means.

Is there a write-in section where we can vote? Will Trump's name fit?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 12, 2025 1:33 PM |
r18 No it is chosen by a commitee. There are numerous deathpools on there for the year but the majority of them for 2025 have obviously already began so latecomers aint possible.

They had an unexpected success with Giorgio Armani dying after many thought hecwas a poor pick as he seemed robust and radiant enough to see out 2025.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 7, 2025 11:48 AM |
Deathlists should have a cut-off age of, say, 70. Until that age, a death can be shocking, unexpected — giving merit to the almost scandalous character of a death pool.
Predicting for 10 years straight that QE2 may die, or Clint Eastwood (96), Giorgio Armani (91) is hardly newsworthy.
