D'ANGELO and his close friend and collaborator, QUESTLOVE, performing their version of the S.O.S Band hit, "TELL ME IF YOU STILL CARE". You can just feel the intense platonic love that these two musical maestros have for one another. I absolutely adore watching and listening to this

Can you believe Mary had the nerve to do a poll and didn't include the most EPIC duet in gay history (at the time)?!! This place has all the rectitude and decorum of a brothel outside of Reno.

"No Matter What You Do," a staggeringly age-inappropriate romantic duet of Diana Ross and Al B. Sure. She was 46 and he was 22. President Emmanuel Macron and First Grand Dame Bridgette Macron are an almost wholesome union by comparison.

Still, a beautiful song.

I loved Kenny and Dolly together, but I think my favorite duet is Kenny Rogers with another artist, Sheena Easton. I normally prefer the original version of a song, and Bob Seeger is one of my favorite artists, but their cover of "We've Got Tonight" is the definitive version to me.

Going back in time a bit:

My Sweet Hunk o’ Trash by Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong.

I love duets that introduce an element of relatively good-natured discord.

The first time I ever heard (and saw the video) "I knew you were waiting for me" was at Faces in Sacramento. I got in with a fake ID. I was so nervous. I kept expecting a group of security guards to find me and drag me out of the club and physically throw me out on the sidewalk. It's not my favorite song but I'm glad it's not a song that has been played to death (If I could turn back time). Also used to sneak into BoJangles.

One of the best songs ever to be made. It’s amazing.

The gawd-awful "Ebony and Ivory" is possibly the worst pop record of all time; not is it totally horrible, it's performed by two of the greatest artists of the time--Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.

Maybe the OP is thinking of "The Girl Is Mine," another piece of shite upchucked by Paul McCartney with Michael Jackson.

I prefer those old timey medleys usually sung LIVE by the great vocalists on variety shows!

Get this trio - Dean Martin, Lena Horne and Bing Crosby live on Martin's TV show, 1967. The weird part is Crosby phoning it in like he had to catch a plane:

"Too Much, Too Little, Too Late." Deniece Williams was a fabulous duet partner for Johnny Mathis. Despite his best efforts, and many attempts, Johnny was never able to replicate the beauty of his vocal blend with Deniece with any other female singer.

A sad song sung beautifully.
