Seriously, though - I didn't grow up with my biological father, but I did visit him a couple of times and have some old pics of him somewhere. His parents were Polish (in fact, I think they came over from Poland as children) and he had kind of slitty eyes like that, very high cheekbones. I, on the other hand, have eyes more like my mother - much bigger, open and almond-shaped.

I wonder if my father's side has Lipka Tatar descent, too. My mother has some Polish in her, but apparently much more British, Irish, some Germanic influence in her genetics. I get the shortness gene from her, that's for sure.
