It may be cold somewhere, but it's hot wherever Mike Holmes Jr. is right now.....
How much does Erin Napier enjoy having 300 lb. Ben lay on top of her?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 21, 2024 11:29 PM |
He's not 300 lbs any more, he's smaller now.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 22, 2024 1:26 AM |
She seems to be very happy now and I would be too.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 22, 2024 2:21 AM |
Ben could lay on top of me any time he wants.
So can Josh, his little buddy.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 22, 2024 3:40 AM |
Talk about a spit roast! Nummm!

I just watched an episode of In With The Old, a Magnolia show on MAX. Really like it. Each individual episode deals with one restoration.
Anyway, there was one tonight in the Hudson Valley - a British woman starts speaking and they show her husband.....and then after the intro, they show their names....and it was Amanda Pays and Corbin Bernsen! Had no idea they apparently do a lot of renos.
(They both look eleventy years old.)

Season premiere of Home Town. Josh is as cute and fuckable as ever.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 31, 2024 4:27 AM |
Another In With The Old episode......Acadian something with a straight married couple but the guy is really cute. Nice ass and serious BDF.

Remove the wall between the kitchen and the dining room/living room and create an open concept. There, I've summarized every single HGTV episode for you in a nutshell.

Dave Marrs and his delectable bulge will be back on our screens soon.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 7, 2025 6:23 PM |
So did Christina what’s-her-name agree to participate in that design-off show with her ex, Tarek, on the condition that she would be guaranteed a win?
Is it a pity-contest?
I think Tarek’s show does better than hers, ratings-wise. I watch his and his wife’s show but not Christina’s
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 7, 2025 7:52 PM |
I can't stand Cuntina.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 8, 2025 12:30 AM |
Okay, either the cameraman/woman wants Dave Marrs bad, or Dave is an exhibitionist, but for the last season or so they rarely miss a chance to get at least one shot of Dave's crotch in nearly every episode.
This was in the episode I watched tonight.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 16, 2025 4:31 AM |
They also frequently follow Dave up the stairs with the camera focused on his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 16, 2025 3:30 PM |
And Dave has a nice ass.
As does Josh on Home Town, though they show it far less often.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 16, 2025 3:34 PM |
Josh is apparently busy elsewhere this season. So my fantasy of Ben topping Josh on the workbench must alas go unrealized......

My comment at r18 (I forgot the Fail triggers that message).......Cuntina can't be single for more than 5 minutes, looks like she found another MAGA douchebro.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 21, 2025 6:03 PM |
They’ve been showing clips from the new show. There’s a moment when Tarek and Christina are talking and Tarek pretty much blames himself for all her slutty, pathetic life problems she’s had since breaking up the marriage,
it was a surprise to see that. I guess therapy really is helping him.
She was stupid to leave him. He’s richer than ever, especially since he got with the look-alike.

I recently binged HG series for two weeks (don’t ask, it’s too boring), and I love “Home Town,” they seem like a genuinely nice couple, and I think Erin has good taste in decorating. It also looks like they have had a significant influence in reviving the sinking fortunes of their small town of Laurel, Mississippi, which in the series seems to be a warm friendly place to live. Agree Josh is a cutie. And that lanky mountain man woodworker also got my fantasies going.
Still, it’s difficult for me as a New Yorker to ponder the politics there. Black people live in Laurel, but most of their clients are white. And how do they vote? One episode showed an artist who lives on her ancestral plantation, white columns and all. That gave me pause. I suspect the rules of southern hospitality and politeness dictate that no one openly talks about these things. Still, I regularly watch the show.
Erin and Ben sometimes team up with Dave Marrs and his horse-faced wife. They seem nice too, but her taste isn’t as good as Erin’s. And she’s a dog.
The other series I got addicted to was “Bargain Block,” because the leads are a gay male couple, rare on HG-TV (except for that hideous, tattooed queen who has the popular sweepstakes/dreamhouse series. I absolutely cannot stand him.) Evan and Keith are butch (but capable of camping it up occasionally) and also seem to have made a difference in their down-at-heel, mostly black Detroit neighborhood, though Keith’s taste can be questionable and over the top, most of their redos were miraculous considering what they were working with, and their neighbors seemed grateful. I like their realtor, though she’s a bit too giggly and ga-ga, and too thirsty for attention. Lately they have branched out, traveling to New Orleans and Nashville during the bitter Detroit winters, and have had to alter their approach to suit local markets, which is interesting. They don’t seem to be heavily promoted on the network, and I hope the advent of Trump doesn’t cause the HGTV to abandon them.
I first watched the Moussas in a very old rerun where Tarek was separated from Christina, but they were still doing the series together. Those shows were great because their crackling tension, the love/hate sexual electricity between them, was palpable, they made an attractive twosome and they were constantly zinging each other like a screwball comedy couple. And they’re extreme taste for modern/contemporary decor was the height of SoCal chic. Those were fun shows.
Separately, they are much less interesting — you can feel him working hard to be nicer to his princessy, bland new trophy wife, who doesn’t have the looks, bearing or authority of his first wife. They are a very self-conscious couple. Yet Christina alone comes across like a cold fish and complete bitch. Her cunt-out-of-water routine in the ‘country’ just makes her seem out of touch and entitled. But maybe that will work in this maga moment. But I can see why they want these two to face off again, they have chemistry together that they don’t have separately, like it or not. And I wonder how the “Flipping Moussas” will feel they have to respond to the terrible fires in LA.
I also watched old episodes of “Love it or Leave It” starring some British cunt and a hapless Canadian. I got to like them and the series, her tireless cuntiness was amusing, though I can see why she’d had enough after a decade or more of shows. Still, it enraged me that most of their couples chose to stay in their renovated-but-still-inconvenient homes rather than buy bigger, better appointed houses in their price range. This is also why I don’t watch “House Hunters,” they ALWAYS pick the wrong house of the three on offer.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 21, 2025 8:54 PM |
And OMG I hate those two taxky sisters from Washington state, they are insufferable and they have terrible taste.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 21, 2025 8:58 PM |
I meant “tacky”. But you knew that.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 21, 2025 8:59 PM |
R21 welcome to the addictive elements of HGTV!
Laurel does seem to be very white, though they have had black clients fairly often and also have black workers on camera. But, as you said, it's the south. Ben and Erin have had a few gay and lez clients too unlike Dave and Jenny Marrs.
On House Hunters the buyers aren't really ever picking a home - they already bought one of them, so they pretend to tour two others. That's why it never makes much sense what they pick.....they always show a nicer or more sensible place.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 21, 2025 9:01 PM |
I share your frustration on Love It or List It, R21.
They always stay in their old home.
I used to watch Hometown, but it’s the same ol’ thing every time. Yes, the couple seem super nice and down-to-earth.
I haven’t seen Bargain Block in Nashville! When did those air?
yes! Tarek is overly nice and patient with his new boring wife. Christina did a lot more design than she does. They have “designers” who help with the material and color decisions now. Christina would do all that herself. I’ve never seen Christina’s show.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 21, 2025 9:10 PM |
r25, I suspect the “Bargain Block” episode(s) from Nashville will air this season. I follow Evan and Keith’s separate Insta accounts, Evan never posts, but Keith posts a fair amount, and he showed a tasteful kitchen redo from Nashville, so I just assumed that was their winter escape a la New Orleans last year. But I don ‘t know for sure.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 21, 2025 9:19 PM |
I can't watch the el Moussas or Cuntina any more.
Just no.

I do miss Rico to the Rescue.
Especially Matt, the hot DILFy GC.

Okay, this week's Home Town had a single guy where I just kept saying...."Gay!"
Military guy, cute but definitely smelled cookies.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 28, 2025 4:08 AM |
Watch First Time Fixer, Season 1 episode 2.
Cute young guy helps his parents reno their house. Wavy hairy, pouty lips, and possibly a nice hard body (we only see it from a distance).

I'm bummed that there aren't any new Holmes series. I needed Mike Jr. on my face.....I mean my TV screen.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 4, 2025 3:43 AM |
I don't hate Page, she's OK. Better her than one of the vapid Cuntina I mean Christina lookalikes or soundalikes.

I'm liking Jeremy on 100 Day Dream Home and his very tight little shorts. Nice ass!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 7, 2025 12:38 AM |
Izzy Does It is a great show!! Now, I’ve only seen the one episode but if the others are the same, it should be good.
Cost cutting on cabinets, having a contingency amount, are all real life necessities. None of this money-is-no-object bs.
Plus, Izzy’s wife likes color!! Shocking, I know.
Good stuff.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 7, 2025 6:25 PM |
WTF, why is the network showing movies, now??
Especially lame movies.
I don’t tune in to your channel, HGTV, to watch Father Of The Bride, I tune in to see House Hunters, 24/7
🤨
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 8, 2025 6:19 AM |
Lately it's been "My Lottery Dream Home" 24/7. I hope David's making residuals. [italic]Someone[/italic] has to pay for those tats.
As if HGTV could get any more useless...
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 8, 2025 2:35 PM |
R36 yeah it's dumb. They've been doing it for a few months now.
I think they do it on the days/times when they have the lowest viewership, they are clearly trying to pad their schedule - if they play a movie Warner Bros. Discovery already owns the rights to, they don't have to pay royalties on a show, so I assume it's a budget thing.

I'm watching an old episode of Good Bones and there's a guy named MJ who is renovating his home with his husband. I'm glad Mina is gay friendly. I know Indiana is republucan, but maybe Indianapolis leans more democrat?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 11, 2025 10:36 AM |
R39
MJ was Mina's official decorator and best buddy.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 11, 2025 1:08 PM |
Yeah, MJ was the designer helping Mina and Karen offscreen, then they started to show him a bit on camera and eventually he became an on screen "character" and presence.
His husband was sorta cute, as I remember.
Indy is probably the most progressive area of Indiana but that isn't saying much.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 11, 2025 5:20 PM |
I think HGTV is really suffering - they don't have as much content and aside from those dreadful el Moussas and the gay brothers there isn't much of interest these days
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 18, 2025 9:55 PM |
Apparently HGTV is repeating the episode tonight with Ben and Erin's hot friend nicknamed "Shug."
He and Josh are both what the kids these days would call "short kings."
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 24, 2025 2:51 AM |
This week's hometown had a somewhat hot homeowner.....and his very pregnant wife.
But he's a cute doctor with big biceps.

They’re showing new episodes of Bargain Mansions!!
I enjoy the work Tara does. Except her kitchens, I usually dislike her kitchens.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 27, 2025 6:36 PM |
Tara's father is the only reason to watch her show 'Bargain Mansions.'
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 27, 2025 7:02 PM |
Tamara, not Tara.
And yes, I want Ward, her dad, to lean me against a load bearing wall and pump a load inside me.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 27, 2025 9:34 PM |
Oh yeah daddy can you pump some of that foam insulation up my behind? I'm feeling a little cold inside!
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 28, 2025 5:43 AM |
He's always been hot, but it's funny.....in the early seasons, he looked like any fifty something suburban dad- had kinda old glasses and looked kinda like a high school science teacher.
Suddenly, Daddy got a makeover, grew a trim beard, and got swole.

LESBIANS ON FIXER TO FABULOUS!
I repeat - LESBIANS!
That show has never ever ever had an out gay person on it - there was a guy a few seasons ago who looked like he was a late in life gay but they never said anything.
It looks like two lesbian couples bought a small motel - Dave and Jenny are renovating.
And they did introduce them as So and So And Her Wife. ***GASP***

Watching an old episode of Mexico Life and this episode has a gay figure skating couple from Toronto. They're moving to Tulum.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 15, 2025 6:36 AM |
R51 Not surprised they chose lesbians as the first gay couple. Lesbians are more accepted in society than gay men.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 15, 2025 6:38 AM |
For the first time ever, I think, I saw a mid- century modern house that I absolutely loved. I was watching House Hunters.
It was a huge place with a courtyard smack-dab in the middle of the house. The couple were looking for homes in Scottsdale AZ.
It was truly magical. The staged furniture brought it to the next level.
Sadly they didn’t pick that home but like I said it was the first mid-century house I’ve seen that I’ve liked.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 21, 2025 2:36 AM |
What kind of pushover mom lets a fucking 9 year old make the decision to not only pick a location to relocate to but also decide where the fuck to live!
Craziness.
Yes, I’m watching House Hunters again.
