Jeopardy! #44
by Anonymous | reply 601 | March 19, 2025 12:35 AM |
Tonight’s show was lame
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 13, 2024 11:57 PM |
I felt it sparkled and shone like gold lame! I am growing a bit tired of only the losers(including myself) answering final Jeopardy! correctly.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 14, 2024 1:55 AM |
Thank you for the new thread, Opie 🤗
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 14, 2024 2:00 AM |
Ram was so handsome but lacking in styling. He seemed nervous throughout (all that jittery swaying!) but performed better than I thought at first.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 14, 2024 3:38 AM |
This new champ and her puffed sleeves is annoying.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 14, 2024 3:39 AM |
Good game. I liked all three.
Douglas Adams was all I could think of for Final. Was stunned it was correct.
Thanks for starting new thread!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 14, 2024 9:11 AM |
I want the Menswear Guy from Twitter to make fun of Colin Jost’s skinny pants.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 14, 2024 3:54 PM |
I was not a fan of Ram's low talking.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 14, 2024 4:34 PM |
No one knew Sondheim?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 17, 2024 10:07 PM |
Good game.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 17, 2024 11:58 PM |
All three players were good tonight. I would have been happy with an of them winning.
It took a few seconds to figure out, but I got to Blanche Dubois for Final. .
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 18, 2024 5:27 AM |
R9: I was outraged.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 18, 2024 5:43 AM |
I couldn't handle the spectrum-issue lady challenger. No one knew about the Brazilian Real currency?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 18, 2024 1:11 PM |
We're getting a bunch of low-value winners lately.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 18, 2024 1:37 PM |
I like the new winner. He’s cute
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 19, 2024 1:07 AM |
Agree. And he seems like a good guy. Knows his wine.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 19, 2024 2:00 AM |
Go Eric! Good game. I had a feeling he was going to win from the start. Of course, I had no idea how bad Ashley would stumble. But congrats to the new winner.
The Falklands was the only thing I could think of for Final. I was surprised it was right.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 19, 2024 5:29 AM |
Did the ex-champ win 5 games?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 19, 2024 12:07 PM |
I believe this was her 5th game (as a loss), though Ken made a pointed hint that she's a likely wild card slot in that case.
Falklands seemed obvious to me.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 19, 2024 12:17 PM |
Wait, so that annoying former champ girl (Ashley?) didn't officially win 5 games to qualify to return? Let's hope not.
I also like the new cute champ. Hoping we learn more about him tonight.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 19, 2024 8:27 PM |
I thought Eric looked like a valet parker in his vest. I also didn't care for his fidgeting.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 19, 2024 11:23 PM |
LOVED Neal the lineman. What a hunky daddy! He really came alive in DJ only to flame out on his god and goddesses.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 19, 2024 11:36 PM |
His Salvador Dali mustache was interesting.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 19, 2024 11:59 PM |
Evenly played game tonight though there were certainly a few misses someone should have known.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 21, 2024 2:27 AM |
I thought douchebro Sean in the center spot tonight was kinda hot until my husband pointed out his MAGA flag pin. Our 3-time champ is a sweet lady but really benefitting from weak competition.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 24, 2024 12:54 AM |
I missed Friday's show. I can't beleive they didn't recognize Catherine Denueve on today;s show.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 24, 2024 2:33 AM |
And thought that Fiddler on the Roof was based on The Matchmaker.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 24, 2024 2:54 AM |
Just checking
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 24, 2024 2:58 AM |
Wow! So many unanswered clues!
Definitely weak competition tonight.
Shaking my head in disbelief at The iFiddler guess for the musical of The Matchmaker.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 24, 2024 9:17 AM |
Well, being that a matchmaker figures in FIDDLER, it's not a totally stupid wild guess.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 24, 2024 12:34 PM |
R25 I saw the pin but couldn't figure out what made it MAGA.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 24, 2024 4:15 PM |
Third contestant should have won.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 24, 2024 11:29 PM |
Smokey the Bear seemed obvious to me.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 25, 2024 3:44 AM |
It wasn't to me. Who writes to Smokey the Bear?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 25, 2024 7:39 AM |
I thought of Rosie, Uncle Sam and Smokey for Final. Decided Smokey was the best choice as the other two would have been a few years earlier.
I figured Jenna would win. She had such a good game. Amazed at Laura’s luck.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 25, 2024 7:47 AM |
R22 I watched the entire episode just staring at him. He's SO my type. Weird 'stache and all.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 25, 2024 7:58 AM |
Neil the Lineman seemed rather kinky and sexually aggressive to me ... not that there's anything wrong with that - ha ha!
My mom and I both guessed Smokey the Bear right away.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 25, 2024 11:32 AM |
Rosie the Riveter was clearly a wrong answer just because her heyday was long before the establishment of zip codes. Smokey came to me first, then Uncle Sam, but I would have gone with Smokey. I could easily imagine children writing letters to Smokey.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 25, 2024 12:59 PM |
It’s “Smokey Bear”
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 25, 2024 1:15 PM |
It’s always been Smokey Bear.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 25, 2024 3:43 PM |
No, it was Smokey the Bear with the message "Only you can prevent forest fires."
Now it's Smokey Bear with "Only you can prevent wildfires."
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 25, 2024 9:13 PM |
The quickest way to make me root for three opposition is to buzz first, choose the $1000 answer and get it wrong. Once is an accident. Twice is unforgivable.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 26, 2024 5:05 AM |
Who won last night? I imagine with Christmas there are many others like me who didn't watch.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 26, 2024 1:01 PM |
I don’t think it was on.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 26, 2024 1:06 PM |
Laura got lucky (AGAIN) with correct answer on final and won her ticket to the TOC. Memphis.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 26, 2024 1:45 PM |
Gee, what a coincidence that Memphis just happens to be Laura's hometown!
I was rooting for Matthieu!!
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 26, 2024 6:54 PM |
A “stroke of luck” indeed. It was a tough one.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 26, 2024 8:18 PM |
Laura is proving to be a slow but very steady champ.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 26, 2024 11:45 PM |
Laura strikes me as similar to Datalounge fave Margaret Shelton a few years back?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 27, 2024 12:02 AM |
Very weak competition tonight and not Laura's best game, in spite of her win. So many easy missed responses.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 28, 2024 2:08 AM |
She's so boring.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 28, 2024 2:24 AM |
From tvinsider.com:
"Reigning Jeopardy! champion Laura Faddah etched her name in the history books on Friday (December 27) by becoming the first contestant ever to win at least seven games with less than $100,000 total."
It's not something I would be proud of...
by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 28, 2024 7:32 PM |
Pfft!
by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 28, 2024 7:43 PM |
Final was a give-away.
Here's to bearded codger nerds!
by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 30, 2024 11:59 PM |
Good game. Super easy Final.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 31, 2024 10:04 AM |
Ugh! Dislike the winner.
Got Final easily, as well as Castor & Pollux.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | January 1, 2025 12:00 AM |
I got final as well, none of the three did.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | January 1, 2025 12:14 AM |
Ken didn't seem to like any of tonight's contestants.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | January 1, 2025 12:15 AM |
Ken is in a bad mood sometimes.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 1, 2025 4:15 PM |
I got final right away because Grant suffered from jaw cancer at the end, although Ken did not mention that. Also knew they were going for Banzai! regarding the Japanese war cry.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 2, 2025 12:01 AM |
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! it's GRETA GARBO!! there's even a PHOTO!!
by Anonymous | reply 64 | January 2, 2025 11:57 PM |
I got Greta Garbo based on Ken's accent reading the question.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | January 3, 2025 12:02 AM |
R64 I was shocked as well.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 3, 2025 12:25 AM |
Does anybody else think Will Yancey probably has a bangin’ body under all that ginger bread?
by Anonymous | reply 67 | January 3, 2025 12:56 AM |
Is Will the bearded fellow now playing? If so, his beard is pure grey on my screen. I think you must be joking, r67, about his body which looks like it just keeps getting wider with no end in sight the lower it goes, but under that beard and weird demeanor, he actually looks like someone who was extremely handsome in his youth. If he got a decent haircut and trimmed his beard, he'd be mighty handsome now.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | January 3, 2025 1:06 AM |
Yeah all the guy needs is a haircut and a trimmed beard - and to go on a long term diet (because, you know, he's FAT) - and he'll be a real catch.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | January 3, 2025 3:18 AM |
Yancey is YUGE. His blubber has blubber, and he'd be the type of guy who, even if he lost a lot of weight, the excess skin would still hang around.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | January 3, 2025 9:27 AM |
Pretty much in his favor after the first Day's totals.
I knew, they didn't: the skirt-shorts apparel was culottes, Gaudi was the Barcelona architect, Reims Cathedral for Joan of Arc.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | January 4, 2025 1:37 PM |
Drew wins!
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 6, 2025 11:29 PM |
Chewy McNip approves of today's winner.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 6, 2025 11:30 PM |
Drew’s a big homo!
by Anonymous | reply 74 | January 6, 2025 11:34 PM |
Drew was so funny about the Taylor Swift thing
by Anonymous | reply 75 | January 6, 2025 11:44 PM |
by Anonymous | reply 76 | January 6, 2025 11:52 PM |
Drew: "Tindr (sic), that thing they do."
by Anonymous | reply 77 | January 6, 2025 11:59 PM |
Is Drew a homosexualist?
by Anonymous | reply 78 | January 7, 2025 12:00 AM |
Could Drew be any cuter? Any sweeter?? It'll be interesting to see how the DL bitches here attack him for....something.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | January 7, 2025 12:33 AM |
Does the competition make his nipples hard?
by Anonymous | reply 82 | January 7, 2025 1:58 AM |
R81 Observe:
R74... I believe it's more accurate to say he's a Big 'Mo.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | January 7, 2025 2:16 AM |
His brother was even cuter.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | January 7, 2025 2:20 AM |
R84 Much.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | January 7, 2025 2:24 AM |
there's a hot guy on jeapordy right now
by Anonymous | reply 86 | January 7, 2025 2:39 AM |
I’ll suck and swallow Drew.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | January 7, 2025 2:39 AM |
Drew's nipples scare me.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | January 7, 2025 3:51 AM |
Team Drew. Even though I know he’s too good to be true.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | January 7, 2025 5:05 AM |
Great game! Wish every game was this exciting!
Go Drew! He won my heart instantly. Hope he wins the tournament!
Final was super easy.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | January 7, 2025 8:16 AM |
^ Shut up, annoying Johnny.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | January 7, 2025 8:20 AM |
For some weird reason, last night the ABC affiliate in Miami that airs Jeopardy! showed a random repeat from last May....
by Anonymous | reply 93 | January 7, 2025 4:24 PM |
R93 New law in MAGA Florida outlaws showing boys as gay as Drew on TV.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | January 7, 2025 4:31 PM |
Anti-Flaunt Act of 2024. Complements the Don’t’ Say Gay law with “don’t show gay.”
by Anonymous | reply 95 | January 7, 2025 4:45 PM |
Drew's brother may have been cuter than he is, but he also looked equally gay.
Plus he is a Swiftie. That's certainly pinged my gaydar. Are there any straight men who are big enough Taylor Swift fans to come up with a Jeopardy board with 30 Taylor-related questions?
by Anonymous | reply 96 | January 7, 2025 5:37 PM |
Damn, I’m so out-of-the-loop on this show.
I’m visiting relatives and they don’t have a single, god-damned television that can get local channels. They live in the ass-end of nowhere and don’t have cable and a tv antenna is out of the question as well because there are too many fucking trees.
🤬🤬
Have the contestants been good at least?
by Anonymous | reply 97 | January 7, 2025 7:56 PM |
My eyes were fixed on Drew's nipples. I wanted to play with them during the entire episode. I'd explore southward if given the opportunity. Predicting a big ginger bush.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | January 7, 2025 8:01 PM |
Yes, they have r97.
Most days, the show is posted to YouTube. You can almost always catch it there. No TV or TV antenna needed.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | January 7, 2025 8:03 PM |
I honestly never thought to do that, R99.
At least I’ll be back home Sunday so I can start the new week.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | January 7, 2025 8:37 PM |
It's Tuesday now. I can't stand Enzo, gay or not.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | January 8, 2025 12:00 AM |
Even more sexy second chancers this evening! I required my vapors and my fan! Such intelligent contestants! I crumple inert, legs akimbo.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | January 8, 2025 12:28 AM |
Enzo is creepy.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | January 8, 2025 1:49 AM |
Was Zoe . . . different?
by Anonymous | reply 105 | January 8, 2025 1:50 AM |
Yep.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | January 8, 2025 2:05 AM |
I was rooting for Josh. Of the three, I liked him best.
Yes, Enzo came across as odd. Very odd. Maybe even creepy.
Zoe was wearing a progress flag pin on her lapel. I take that to mean she is trans.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | January 8, 2025 3:06 AM |
I don't care for the second chance stuff. Do the season and then the championship.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | January 8, 2025 3:11 AM |
I very much like the Second Chances game and the Champions Wildcards. It gives some deserving contestants another chance to redeem themselves.
Without Second Chances, we wouldn't have gotten to see Drew Goins again on Monday night.
Without Champions Wildcard last winter, we wouldn't have gotten to see Yungsheng Wang and Junuvia Zaheer, both of whom did amazingly well.
by Anonymous | reply 109 | January 8, 2025 3:15 AM |
So far this week it's the fabulously gay Drew and his polar opposite - the eerily nebbish Enzo.
I didn't check Jeopardy's website, but I'm presuming there won't be a third night in a row with a gay contestant.
Like R109 I'm also really enjoying these Wildcard and Second Chance games.
by Anonymous | reply 110 | January 8, 2025 4:06 PM |
I was rooting for Ferdinand, but congrats to Sam.
I knew what Final was referring to, but blanked on the correct name for.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | January 9, 2025 1:55 AM |
Tuesday was spectrum day on Jeopardy.
by Anonymous | reply 112 | January 9, 2025 5:09 AM |
I'm tired of this second chance tournament crap. All these people are proving is that they deserved to lose the first time they were on because they suck and the game suffers for it because except for one or two exceptions they're all so stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 113 | January 10, 2025 12:01 AM |
A girl is allowed to change her mind (as the saying goes), Enzo seemed more relatable to me vs. Drew's gym references. Got Kolkata, Michael Landon, and Family Ties they missed.
Was this an all LGBT night?
by Anonymous | reply 114 | January 10, 2025 12:06 AM |
R114 wheel of Fortune definitely was with the winning lesbian couple who pretended their gay bff was their one of their boyfriends and even if it wasn't obvious the first time they showed him it definitely was when he went out to hug them after they won and clearly was very uncomfortable touching women.
by Anonymous | reply 115 | January 10, 2025 12:30 AM |
Definitely seemed to be gay night at Jeopardy! tonight.
Not happy that creepy Enzo pulled such a strong win. Was rooting for Drew, but he seemed to be having an off day. Maybe Enzo hit on him and he get grossed out.
by Anonymous | reply 116 | January 10, 2025 1:26 AM |
Drew's gym story seemed a bit ageist, and I'm sure the producers didn't appreciate the suggestion that Drew's peers don't watch Jeopardy.
by Anonymous | reply 117 | January 10, 2025 3:03 AM |
They were all wearing suits. Gay costume coordination?
by Anonymous | reply 118 | January 10, 2025 5:07 AM |
You just want to hug well-educated Enzo in all his teary vulnerability. Sexy Sam reminds me of Art Nouveau cologne. I’ve seldom been more indignant than when Drew mocked elder Jeopardy viewers. Someone needs to whip his buttocks raw with a switch.
by Anonymous | reply 119 | January 10, 2025 7:32 PM |
Sorry for not keeping up, I've been unable to watch this week, but is Drew out of there for good, or does he have another chance tonight?
by Anonymous | reply 120 | January 10, 2025 9:19 PM |
DREW!
by Anonymous | reply 121 | January 10, 2025 10:00 PM |
2-day total, r120.
by Anonymous | reply 122 | January 10, 2025 10:07 PM |
3 homos. All annoying!!!
by Anonymous | reply 123 | January 10, 2025 11:38 PM |
Drew would be a good George (Wham! era) Michael if he’d agree to a more blown out hairdo. I’m so relieved Enzo faced defeat without sobbing.
by Anonymous | reply 124 | January 10, 2025 11:54 PM |
I knew FJ immediately, I thought all three would know that.
by Anonymous | reply 125 | January 10, 2025 11:58 PM |
Enzo is definitely a virgin. He has a weird energy to him.
He reminds me of Smithers from “The Simpsons”.
by Anonymous | reply 126 | January 11, 2025 12:23 AM |
Another outing for so many easy answers were left because everybody is so stupid. At least the cute guy wasn't not the other two creepy looking dudes.
by Anonymous | reply 127 | January 11, 2025 1:01 AM |
I thought FJ was super easy. Surprised that they do such easy ones in a tournament like this.
Also shocked that Drew didn't know The Glass Menagerie. Tennessee weeps.....
by Anonymous | reply 128 | January 11, 2025 1:55 AM |
Yeah! Drew won!
He saved us from having to endure Enzo for another episode.
But he should turn in his gay card for not knowing Glass Menagerie
by Anonymous | reply 129 | January 11, 2025 9:49 AM |
Doesn't know Glass Menagerie, but likely knows all about Creatine and other supplements to get ripped. Such is the poverty of our times...
by Anonymous | reply 130 | January 11, 2025 4:46 PM |
It’s not as though he knows nothing about The Glass Menagerie. He didn’t recognize it from a character’s name. Not an unforgivable sin, though not recognizing the name Blanche DuBois might have been
by Anonymous | reply 131 | January 11, 2025 5:33 PM |
Enzo was shocked every time Ken told him his answer was wrong. It took him a couple of seconds to recover each time. He must have been told since childhood he was right all of the time.
by Anonymous | reply 132 | January 11, 2025 7:53 PM |
Given Drew's age, I'd be more concerned if he didn't know "Dawson's 20-Load Weekend."
by Anonymous | reply 133 | January 11, 2025 7:56 PM |
The Crass Ménage A Trois.
by Anonymous | reply 134 | January 12, 2025 6:26 PM |
Missed the entire week because of the LA fires.
Oh well. i'll start up again tomorrow if I can.
by Anonymous | reply 135 | January 12, 2025 10:22 PM |
Missed the entire week because of the LA fires.
While KABC-Channel 7 was airing fire coverage every night at 7 p.m., they aired the Jeopardy episodes at 2:05 a.m.
They also aired the episode at 7 p.m. on subchannel 7.2, which is on Spectrum cable at channel 1246.
As the fires continue, expect Channel 7 to repeat that airing schedule in the coming few days.
Finally, the Youtube episodes have been up ever afternoon.
by Anonymous | reply 136 | January 13, 2025 12:43 AM |
R136 Also in LA. I ended up watching the YouTube episodes. Friday's episode was at the regular time I believe. Happy to see Drew come through. I'm curious how he'll do in the TOC Wildcard tournament.
by Anonymous | reply 137 | January 13, 2025 1:17 AM |
If Johnny Gilbert could just burn up…….We’d be happier.
by Anonymous | reply 138 | January 13, 2025 3:50 AM |
Titty titty bang bang... and his gleaming veneers.
by Anonymous | reply 140 | January 13, 2025 10:34 PM |
Is it truly nipples to the day if you’re clothed and indoors?
by Anonymous | reply 141 | January 13, 2025 11:06 PM |
No Jeopardy for me tonight. Monday Night Football pre-show.
I hope both teams lose!
by Anonymous | reply 142 | January 13, 2025 11:32 PM |
Go Rams! (LA needs good news.)
by Anonymous | reply 143 | January 13, 2025 11:36 PM |
I'm so annoyed they brought back this stupid vegetarian b****. I hated her the first time I was so grateful she didn't win. I didn't believe her the first time when she claimed her students were in shock that she was a vegetarian because there's no way that she didn't tell them that the very first time they met her.
And of course in her intro tonight she had to mention that again that she's a vegetarian and that she chastise them for judging her. I'm betting this also never happened because they probably just don't care that much.
by Anonymous | reply 144 | January 14, 2025 12:43 AM |
Imagining her students dressing like her boggles the mind. I didn't have a single teacher in my youth who would have thought that was funny.
by Anonymous | reply 145 | January 14, 2025 1:16 AM |
R145. Actually, all the first year students in the honors program went on a weekend retreat each fall and each of the four sections had to do a skit (related to the topic of their seminar). Inevitably, one of my students would dress like me (jeans, button down Oxford shirt, bottle of Diet Pepsi in my hand) and would imitate me. It initially made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but over the years, it began to feel like a ritual and a gesture of affection. And they were never mean about it.
by Anonymous | reply 146 | January 14, 2025 1:28 AM |
I’m back, bitches!!!
I can finally comment on the daily shows. My long-running inconvenient vacation time is at an end.
I wanted the dour woman to win, I remember her and liked her from before. The winners accent was unfortunate.
by Anonymous | reply 147 | January 14, 2025 1:36 AM |
Am I the only one who wants their face in Will Yancy’s fit-fat fanny?
by Anonymous | reply 148 | January 14, 2025 1:52 AM |
I seriously hope you are.
by Anonymous | reply 149 | January 14, 2025 11:43 AM |
I suspect you are.
by Anonymous | reply 150 | January 14, 2025 3:32 PM |
R148 Yancey is not fit-fat. As the photo at R70 shows he's OBESE.
by Anonymous | reply 151 | January 15, 2025 10:27 AM |
I knew yesterday's final had to be Israel or Egypt, and I'm surprised none of them knew that.
by Anonymous | reply 152 | January 15, 2025 4:48 PM |
Yes. I deduced Egypt since I’ve never heard of the anthem.

Was surprised they all blew it, too, R152.
by Anonymous | reply 154 | January 15, 2025 5:15 PM |
Yesterday for some reason they played Ken Jennings’ second game as a contestant in the afternoon and my TiVo picked it up thinking it was a new episode. He was like a machine, but then missed FJ. (Word Origins: “This somewhat negative term arose because twisting fibers into thread was mainly a woman’s job”) One of the other contestants got it, but Ken was uncatchable. .

I tried to think of countries that had been at war in 1979 signing a peace treaty and came up blank. Did't think of two nations that were hostile toward each other, but not at war.
I knew that Egypt and Israel signed the Camp David peace accords in Sept 1978. I remember that distinctly because I was watching the 2-hour premier of the new ABC sci-fi series Battlestar Gallactica on a Sunday night. Just at the climatic moment, they interrupt the movie to announce the signing of the peace accord. They spent 20 minutes talking about it and finally returned to the Battlestar Gallactica premier. Unfortunately, the climax was ruined by the interuption.
So, I always think of the Egypt-Israel peace treaty as happening in 1978, although I guess it took a few months to get the each nation's parliament to approve it.
by Anonymous | reply 156 | January 15, 2025 5:34 PM |
I think the clue only said that the anthem was changed in 1979, not that the peace treaty occurred in that year.
by Anonymous | reply 157 | January 15, 2025 5:38 PM |
^ I was wrong. It did say the treaty was 1979.
by Anonymous | reply 158 | January 15, 2025 5:40 PM |
I was wrong on FJ, I also guessed Lolita.
by Anonymous | reply 159 | January 16, 2025 12:00 AM |
Drew comes through!
by Anonymous | reply 160 | January 16, 2025 12:27 AM |
A lot of easy misses today.
How can Drew know cerise is French for cherry but not recognize Petit Roche in a state capital category?
by Anonymous | reply 161 | January 16, 2025 12:30 AM |
Maybe he's a Louis Vuitton fan. Their merch which has cherries on it is called cerise. Just guessing.
by Anonymous | reply 162 | January 16, 2025 12:41 AM |
Thought FJ was difficult, although Silent Spring is a frequent topic on the show.
by Anonymous | reply 163 | January 16, 2025 12:55 AM |
Ken’s third appearance was on the Game Show Network today. He only bet $1000 on his first DD because he didn’t like the category: Businessmen. “Hate ‘em all. Come the revolution we’re going to string ‘em up.” Who knew?
by Anonymous | reply 164 | January 16, 2025 1:07 AM |
FJ was cinchy! And not just because my Mother was born in Rachel Carson’s house. 🏡
by Anonymous | reply 165 | January 16, 2025 1:19 AM |
Final seemed a give-away to me. I knew most of the ones they didn't.
by Anonymous | reply 166 | January 16, 2025 1:42 AM |
Didn’t get the show due to the Presidents speech.
Beautifully stated. We done him wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 167 | January 16, 2025 3:59 AM |
So many missed unanswered clues tonight! But there were really only two contestants in this game as Aiden was barely there. Perhaps Aiden should have been wearing his "I Won on Jeopardy!" pin rather than having it in his pocket.
Drew continues to be impressive. And cute. Would love to see him in board shorts and a tie.
Jay was also good. He'll definitely be back for a wildcard slot in semi finals since he's had the highest non-winning score so far.
Final seemed incredibly obvious to me.
by Anonymous | reply 168 | January 16, 2025 6:34 AM |
Is Ken Jennings gay?
by Anonymous | reply 169 | January 16, 2025 7:00 AM |
No. Just Mormon.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | January 16, 2025 3:12 PM |
Great game tonight, but I am stunned the judges accepted the "lesser of two evils" response for Joey's DJ answer. The pope said voters should chose the "lesser evil." There was certainly a time when the Jeopardy! judges would not have accepted that response since it wasn't exact.
I had no idea on Final.
by Anonymous | reply 171 | January 17, 2025 6:38 AM |
Yes. Final was a bad question.
My criteria for a bad FJ is if I have no clue, none of contestants get it, and I feel no moment of “aha” or “of course” when the correct response is revealed.
by Anonymous | reply 172 | January 17, 2025 2:43 PM |
Really cute guys tonight. Looks like all the finalists, for whatever tournament they'll be playing now, are men, except for one. Be prepared for a lot of cats, knitting, and Taylor Swift questions.
by Anonymous | reply 173 | January 17, 2025 11:32 PM |
I want Adam inside me.
by Anonymous | reply 174 | January 17, 2025 11:33 PM |
I took a wild guess at Hamilton and was right! I really couldn't think of another name.
by Anonymous | reply 175 | January 18, 2025 12:05 AM |
The guy on the right was really short! I thought all three were very agreeable chaps.
by Anonymous | reply 176 | January 18, 2025 12:16 AM |
I only tuned in 1/2 way through and the guy on the right didn't seem to budge from holding his arms crossed like he'd given up and wasn't even attempting to buzz in.
Agree about Adam with those soulful eyes. Wish he'd won, though Marko is sweet.
by Anonymous | reply 177 | January 18, 2025 12:18 AM |
I can picture Marko in his Vanna White gown pretending to be her.
by Anonymous | reply 178 | January 18, 2025 12:31 AM |
I think there was more than one homosexualist on that panel.
by Anonymous | reply 179 | January 18, 2025 4:11 AM |
The "tear jerker" category the other day should've been called "gay movies". No wonder Drew did so well.
by Anonymous | reply 180 | January 18, 2025 4:38 PM |
I wanted Eamonn to win, and inside me. He has John Krasinski big dick face.
by Anonymous | reply 181 | January 18, 2025 5:23 PM |
I liked the angry one on the end.
by Anonymous | reply 182 | January 18, 2025 7:41 PM |
Eamonn seemed oddly spectrum-ish to me. No wife/gf it seems ...
by Anonymous | reply 183 | January 19, 2025 3:39 PM |
R183 No wife/gf probably because Eamonn isn't straight. .. More than one Jeopardy fansite mentions his LGBT activities. One says: "Campbell has publicly identified as part of the LGBT community, indicated by his leadership in an event titled “LGBT Lawyers for Kamala.”
by Anonymous | reply 184 | January 19, 2025 10:30 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 189 | January 21, 2025 12:35 AM |
someone always posts it on YouTube the next day.
by Anonymous | reply 190 | January 21, 2025 12:37 AM |
Good game. That Drew is a cutie.
He ran away with the game.
by Anonymous | reply 191 | January 21, 2025 12:47 AM |
R189, just watched it at You Tube.
Didn't know Final. Drew was seriously rocking that shirt!
by Anonymous | reply 192 | January 21, 2025 1:09 AM |
That Drew is so smart!
by Anonymous | reply 193 | January 21, 2025 1:26 AM |
Great game! Go Drew.
Was especially delighted to see them all being so cordial and friendly, rooting for each other.
I had no idea on Final.
by Anonymous | reply 194 | January 21, 2025 7:33 AM |
Terrifying that only one of them could ID the Nautilus! Outrageous, I must say!
This is undoubtedly the result of Disneyland closing down its old Nautilus submarine ride in 1998! It was created in1959, inspired by what the Nautilus had accomplished in 1958. They eventually replaced it with a Finding Nemo submarine!

by Anonymous | reply 197 | January 21, 2025 2:40 PM |
I believe that photo that was identified as a Trilby was actually a pork pie hat. A Trilby had a very wide brim, just the opposite of a pork pie.
You can be sure Drew would have been able to identify palazzo pants.
by Anonymous | reply 198 | January 21, 2025 11:23 PM |
I hate the old man who won. He’s fat and that accent continues to annoy.

by Anonymous | reply 200 | January 22, 2025 5:21 AM |

I hadn't the slightest idea on Final.
by Anonymous | reply 201 | January 22, 2025 7:45 AM |
Chris Pannullo alert.
His first appearance is on Game Show Network (GSN) right now!
by Anonymous | reply 202 | January 23, 2025 1:04 AM |
For FJ I made a wild stab with Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins. Boy, was I off.
by Anonymous | reply 203 | January 23, 2025 1:28 AM |
I find tonight's winner oddly sexy. Mehal? Is that his name?
by Anonymous | reply 204 | January 23, 2025 1:29 AM |
I knew Fleming but not the other guy. And by “knowing” Fleming, I mean to say I said the James Bond author, his name escaped me at that moment.
🤭
by Anonymous | reply 205 | January 23, 2025 1:30 AM |
R204 - he pings to me, having trouble seeing him as straight.
by Anonymous | reply 206 | January 23, 2025 1:47 AM |
Definitely in for a behind the scenes Will/Mehal sex scandal!
by Anonymous | reply 207 | January 23, 2025 2:00 AM |
I guessed Fleming but was on shaky ground with my Le Carre guess. for r205, John Le Carre was one of the best-selling authors of the past 50-60 years: TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY, LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL, HONOURABLE SCHOOLBOY, NIGHT MANAGER.... If you haven't read him you may have seen one of the many movie versions out there.
by Anonymous | reply 208 | January 23, 2025 3:06 AM |
No, no, I’ve definitely heard about LeCarré, and am familiar with his work, it’s just that it didn’t come to me.
It didn’t come to any of the contestants either. 😛
Thanks, R208.
by Anonymous | reply 209 | January 23, 2025 5:02 AM |
Didn't Marko get the 2 correct responses? He just didn't have as much money as Mehal.
by Anonymous | reply 210 | January 23, 2025 11:49 AM |
Yay Mehal!
Such soulful eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 211 | January 24, 2025 1:40 AM |
Drew, we hardly knew ye.
by Anonymous | reply 212 | January 24, 2025 3:48 AM |
Yay! The fat ugly texan is in third place.
Drew is a real cutie. I hope he comes out ahead tomorrow.
by Anonymous | reply 213 | January 24, 2025 6:08 AM |
^spoiler? Suggests run is over.
by Anonymous | reply 215 | January 24, 2025 9:54 PM |
I’m so touched that Wil Yancy is saved and received the most applause for witnessing before the Jeopardy! audience. It troubled me that Drew and Mehal had to be coaxed into a post-game bro hug with the openly Christian Yancy.
by Anonymous | reply 216 | January 24, 2025 11:43 PM |
I wanted Drew to win but I suppose Mehal will do.
by Anonymous | reply 217 | January 25, 2025 1:25 AM |
I have a feeling that Will was unable to get off his stool to shake hands or (God forbid!) hug anybody.
I'm thrilled that Mehal won. Drew is cute but he was beginning to wear me down with his cuteness.
by Anonymous | reply 218 | January 25, 2025 1:31 AM |
It was rather funny when Drew walked off the stage when he missed that Celine Dion question!!!
Haha. 🤭
by Anonymous | reply 219 | January 25, 2025 1:44 AM |
Noe Drew is free to run around in Fiji and flirt with daddy Jeff Probst.
by Anonymous | reply 220 | January 25, 2025 2:14 AM |
⬆️
Now, not Noe
by Anonymous | reply 221 | January 25, 2025 2:15 AM |
The winner is very bright.
by Anonymous | reply 222 | January 25, 2025 2:16 AM |
R222 And bright in strategic ways, not just a broad knowledge base to answer diverse categories. He saw he went ahead in the game, and calculated given yesterday nothing Sweet Tits could do to catch him at his current level. So he stopped trying to answer questions and wagered zero on FJ.
by Anonymous | reply 223 | January 25, 2025 2:42 AM |
^even I knew that.
by Anonymous | reply 224 | January 25, 2025 2:45 AM |
I knew FJ and it wasn't that hard. Surprised they all missed it.
by Anonymous | reply 225 | January 25, 2025 2:57 AM |
R219, I found the spontaneous hug with Mehal on the way back to his seat very gay.
by Anonymous | reply 226 | January 25, 2025 11:11 AM |
I know! In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg was something I learned in junior high! I knew the answer immediately.
by Anonymous | reply 227 | January 25, 2025 2:28 PM |
Same here, R227, we had "music" period one hour a week.
by Anonymous | reply 228 | January 25, 2025 3:18 PM |
Winner or not, I'm sure the producers will find ways to bring back fan favorite Drew.
by Anonymous | reply 229 | January 25, 2025 4:03 PM |
Bye for now Drew. We love you.
by Anonymous | reply 230 | January 25, 2025 4:31 PM |
Drew annoyed me. Storming off stage because he missed the Celine Dion question was... so...dramatic? Self centered?
by Anonymous | reply 231 | January 25, 2025 4:37 PM |
I was also thinking that his storming off stunt might have cost time and left answers unanswered on the board. I think Mehal was already clearly coasting to a runaway victory as it was anyway, but it seemed a little self-indulgent on Drew’s part.
Drew is really fun and wicked smart. I was rooting for him but I’m almost sure we’ll see him again.
Will Yancy really goofed during the finals. I had predicted him as the winner.
by Anonymous | reply 232 | January 25, 2025 4:53 PM |
R233 "the beloved star".... jeez
by Anonymous | reply 234 | January 25, 2025 6:18 PM |
In other words, Drew sucked off somebody on the production team.
by Anonymous | reply 235 | January 25, 2025 6:22 PM |
Wow. Looks like Yancy’s Lord and Savior has a thing for the little gay boy from the Fake News.
by Anonymous | reply 236 | January 25, 2025 6:28 PM |
Who’d Drew blow to get this to happen?
by Anonymous | reply 237 | January 25, 2025 7:02 PM |
I'd like to inspect Drew's loopHOLE.
by Anonymous | reply 238 | January 25, 2025 7:37 PM |
Why not advance the Celebrity Jeopardy runner up?
by Anonymous | reply 239 | January 25, 2025 10:00 PM |
^Good question.
by Anonymous | reply 240 | January 25, 2025 10:28 PM |
Read the article linked above.
It’s the Celebrity Jeopardy! winner who has a work conflict and can’t make the tournament. So show offered her slot in the tournament to Drew.
by Anonymous | reply 241 | January 26, 2025 2:41 AM |
I was in the right area, but guessed Canberra (population 466).

by Anonymous | reply 244 | January 28, 2025 11:55 AM |
I’m semi-embarrassed to say I guessed Auckland.
by Anonymous | reply 245 | January 28, 2025 12:16 PM |
I know absolutely nothing about latitudes, but like the others, guessed Reykjavík.
by Anonymous | reply 246 | January 28, 2025 5:52 PM |

I’m pleased a woman won this evening, but what was soooo difficult about the FJ palindrome? 🤷♂️
by Anonymous | reply 249 | January 29, 2025 12:04 AM |
Glad the doctor won. Was kinda rooting for the middle guy. Why was he seated?
Kinda wanted the older guy to win as well. 🤷🏻♀️
No friggin idea on FJ.
by Anonymous | reply 250 | January 29, 2025 12:44 AM |
The winner's brilliance: "The island just north of Queensland".... Her answer: "What is Australia?"
Sometimes I am aghast.
by Anonymous | reply 251 | January 29, 2025 2:37 AM |
Final Jeopardy was ridiculous.
by Anonymous | reply 252 | January 29, 2025 4:03 AM |
Wow! So many wrong answers and unanswered clues. And these people were previous champs! Just shows what a really bad pool of contestants they had in the past year.
Even more disturbing, this tournament has a lot of 4 and 3 game winners in it. 12 of them to be exact versus 7 who officially qualified by winning 5 or more games. Plus the champions wildcard winner (Mehal) and runner up (Drew).
A note on the page linked below says that starting in Dec. 2024, the number of wins needed to officially qualify for the next TOC has been lowered to four:
All 4-time and over winning players starting from 12/9/24 will be eligible for a future Tournament of Champions.
by Anonymous | reply 253 | January 29, 2025 6:47 AM |
I disliked Grant, so wanted him to lose. Can't stand any "YES!" gestures like that getting right answer. Didn't remember the good-looking brain-damaged guy at all. Agreed, Australia was an answer she should be ashamed of.
I'm fine with Drew and Mehal in TOC.
by Anonymous | reply 254 | January 29, 2025 12:06 PM |
Do they make the questions harder for TOC? They appear to make the FJs tougher.
Also—are DJ questions supposed to be harder than the first board?
by Anonymous | reply 255 | January 29, 2025 1:12 PM |
I do remember the brain-damaged guy because I remember my mentioning how creepy he came across during his original run. (I think I said he gave off serial killer vibes.)
Clearly I was unnecessarily harsh at the time because I'm sure his demeanor is related to his injury.
I agree with R253 in that it seems there are less stellar champs completing this time around - though unlike him I have no problem with Mehal and Drew being in the TOC.
by Anonymous | reply 256 | January 29, 2025 10:27 PM |
The winner looks very young.
He just ran away with it today.
by Anonymous | reply 257 | January 30, 2025 1:20 AM |
R257 ... constantly rocking back and forth. Jeopardy has a higher percentage of autistic folk than any media place in the American Public Sphere.

Shocking!

It's the Exorcist steps NOT the stairs. Jeopardy writers got it wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 265 | January 31, 2025 3:29 AM |
They should have allowed #1"s FJ answer. It was more a misspelling than anything else.
by Anonymous | reply 266 | January 31, 2025 9:05 AM |
Mehal wuz robbed.
I didn't know about Capote's swans.
by Anonymous | reply 267 | January 31, 2025 11:23 AM |
Considering all the ignored misspellings on FJ over the decades, the lack of a letter in the foreign word Horribilis was a very unfair and merciless judgment.
by Anonymous | reply 268 | January 31, 2025 11:45 AM |
Spelling doesn’t count in FJ—pronunciation does. It was just one letter, but leaving it out meant the word was pronounced differently, and that is the determining factor for FJ misspelling.
by Anonymous | reply 269 | January 31, 2025 1:44 PM |
Basically, if you watched The Crown you knew FJ.
by Anonymous | reply 270 | January 31, 2025 2:01 PM |
Yeah, I knew FJ and knew he had left out a letter. Sucks for him
by Anonymous | reply 271 | January 31, 2025 4:32 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 273 | February 1, 2025 12:32 AM |
It really was the hardest FJ ever. There was nothing in the clue that could help you even make an intelligent guess.
by Anonymous | reply 274 | February 1, 2025 1:11 AM |
I thought it might have been “New” something, but, holy hell.
by Anonymous | reply 275 | February 1, 2025 1:22 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 276 | February 1, 2025 5:17 AM |
I knew it was Alaskan too. But had ZERO idea that Sitka was a tree.
That was super hard.

I got it. Russian name and 1867 obviously Alaska.
by Anonymous | reply 278 | February 1, 2025 11:21 AM |

Wow! He ran away with it!!
Love it. No clue about FJ
by Anonymous | reply 281 | February 4, 2025 12:28 AM |
Another cinchy FJ. I wanna see more of Drew’s cuter brother. I was stunned that Drew came out of the closet during his interview portion. He’s such a goofball. He effortlessly plastered the competition. It worries me that he is so casually gay during these precarious political times. Take great care, the police are everywhere. May the blessings of the Son be upon him.
by Anonymous | reply 282 | February 4, 2025 4:30 AM |
FJ very easy for this fan of the B-52s.
by Anonymous | reply 283 | February 4, 2025 7:24 AM |

No idea on FJ, I said Finland! 🤭
by Anonymous | reply 289 | February 5, 2025 12:35 AM |
I thought FJ was one of those obscure Asian countries that begins with a K and ends in stan.

The only thing that surprised me was the 11-miles.
by Anonymous | reply 293 | February 5, 2025 6:13 AM |

I eventually figured out Final, but don’t know if I would have had enough time to write it down.
by Anonymous | reply 294 | February 5, 2025 7:43 AM |
I love Adriana. She’s so hardcore and unflappable. I had forgotten about her because she was seeded directly into the semifinals.
by Anonymous | reply 295 | February 5, 2025 12:03 PM |
Adrianna and Lauren Ambrose from 6 Feet Under could be doppelgangers.

FJ was pretty obvious I thought.
by Anonymous | reply 297 | February 5, 2025 12:49 PM |
I think the weimaraner call was unfair. They should allow for certain variations in pronunciation and his wasn't that far off. Have there been other examples like this one?
by Anonymous | reply 298 | February 5, 2025 5:08 PM |
Some pronunciations are simply wrong. That matters in oral answers. If you are going to tolerate a mistake on this basis of idiosyncratic pronunciation, anyone who gets close to the right answer, but is off by a vowel, simply has to claim “that’s how I pronounce the correct answer.” I’d rather they be strict.
by Anonymous | reply 299 | February 5, 2025 5:34 PM |
Austin the bartender was robbed a few years ago for a completely correct answer (had it been written) because of his accent.
by Anonymous | reply 300 | February 5, 2025 6:55 PM |
We've discussed the "pronunciation disqualifications" before. Seems like there is no consistency.
by Anonymous | reply 301 | February 5, 2025 9:52 PM |
Damn, that dork beat out the cute guy. The lady couldn’t even get into the game.
Had no idea about FJ, again. 😑
by Anonymous | reply 302 | February 6, 2025 12:38 AM |
I wouldn't have gotten final because even though I knew it was Leeuwenhoek, I had no idea it meant lion in Dutch.
by Anonymous | reply 303 | February 6, 2025 12:53 AM |
I've never seen such a sore loser on Jeopardy! before. Guy in the middle pouted big time at the end of the show.
by Anonymous | reply 304 | February 6, 2025 1:25 AM |
Sadly, tonight's episode is not up on youtube.
by Anonymous | reply 305 | February 6, 2025 2:10 AM |
Loved The Substance clue.
by Anonymous | reply 306 | February 6, 2025 2:18 AM |
I was rooting for Mark. Quite an impressive comeback in second round.
Didn’t want dorky Isaac to get the win. Now we have to endure him for another game.
No idea on Final.
by Anonymous | reply 307 | February 6, 2025 6:23 AM |
Sigh. Another Drew day tomorrow.
by Anonymous | reply 308 | February 6, 2025 6:54 AM |
I want Drew inside me quite deeply.
by Anonymous | reply 309 | February 6, 2025 10:48 AM |
R309 Sweetheart, Drew is 110% bottom. He'd run away screaming if you presented your special place for his use.
by Anonymous | reply 310 | February 6, 2025 7:45 PM |
I was just as disappointed that Mark lost as he was.
While I liked the other two contestants, I always root for the good looking guy, especially when he's gay - or gay in my imagination.
by Anonymous | reply 311 | February 6, 2025 8:03 PM |
It’s Battle of the Drew’s tonight! But all three contestants are hot.
by Anonymous | reply 312 | February 6, 2025 10:23 PM |
Oh, dear.
by Anonymous | reply 313 | February 6, 2025 11:28 PM |
Something about "Queens" made me chuckle.
by Anonymous | reply 314 | February 6, 2025 11:42 PM |
Our beloved Goins is goin goin gone.
by Anonymous | reply 315 | February 6, 2025 11:59 PM |
Poor cute Drew.
The winner is on some spectrum, right?
by Anonymous | reply 316 | February 7, 2025 12:28 AM |
The other Drew seemed to be the sorest of losers.
by Anonymous | reply 317 | February 7, 2025 1:58 AM |
But all three contestants are hot.
Ladies and gentlemen—Miss Helen Keller!
by Anonymous | reply 318 | February 7, 2025 4:06 AM |
Drew didn’t get Valley of the Queens?
by Anonymous | reply 319 | February 7, 2025 4:07 AM |
Mark may be your fantasy boyfriend, but his Insta account would tell you he's anything but gay.
by Anonymous | reply 320 | February 7, 2025 4:08 AM |
I was rooting for Drew but alas. He was a good sport.
by Anonymous | reply 321 | February 7, 2025 4:40 AM |
Drew is pretty. But by today's episode he had gone full on boring Generic Gymrat Bottom. Hope he goes OnlyFans and makes some money. I wish him luck.
by Anonymous | reply 322 | February 7, 2025 4:49 AM |
How did he miss grand mal seizure? That was really easy.
by Anonymous | reply 323 | February 7, 2025 5:01 AM |
The Battle of the Drews! Who dropped the ball and had the two Drews playing opposite each other? Don't think I've ever seen a Jeopardy game where two players had the same name before.
I certainly enjoyed Drew Goins, both for his beauty and his perky personality that livened things up. Maybe they'll invite him back for some future tournament.
Neilesh definitely comes across as being on the spectrum. He looks like he wouldn't even be brave enough to make eye contact with you if you met him on the street.
So now dorky Isaac, autistic Neilesh and Adrianna are in the finals. I guess I'll be rooting for Adrianna.
by Anonymous | reply 324 | February 7, 2025 7:54 AM |
Adrianna won 15 games in regular play while Isaac won 9 games. They're the top two in most games won for this tournament qualifying period.
Meanwhile, Neilesh won a total of 3 games in regular play.
by Anonymous | reply 325 | February 7, 2025 8:00 AM |
Neilesh looks so uncomfortable even when standing still.
by Anonymous | reply 326 | February 7, 2025 8:30 AM |
I'll take Isaac of tonight's three.
by Anonymous | reply 327 | February 7, 2025 10:58 AM |
In the ass or mouth, R327?
by Anonymous | reply 328 | February 7, 2025 2:36 PM |
R328 - neither, simply as a contestant.
by Anonymous | reply 329 | February 7, 2025 3:23 PM |
I want Isaac inside me quite deeply. I enjoy him.
by Anonymous | reply 330 | February 7, 2025 11:33 PM |
I would “sit Seder” with him anytime!
by Anonymous | reply 331 | February 7, 2025 11:51 PM |
I knew Final, but it was, indeed, a tough question. The guys seemed rather pissed off at her win.
by Anonymous | reply 332 | February 7, 2025 11:59 PM |
Great game, glad the lady just barely got the win 😰
by Anonymous | reply 333 | February 8, 2025 12:51 AM |
Yeah Adrianna. First win in the bag.
Now get two more wins done quickly so we can get Neilesh and Isaac off our screens.
by Anonymous | reply 335 | February 8, 2025 10:41 AM |
Adrianna's bubble tea anecdote made me really, really like her.
by Anonymous | reply 336 | February 8, 2025 5:36 PM |
So it’s three wins? Cool. It seems Adrianna knew the assignment. She didn’t blow all her winnings on the first game.
The other 2 not so much.
by Anonymous | reply 337 | February 8, 2025 6:29 PM |
Did you mean, "Yay, Adrianna", Johnny Gilbert?
by Anonymous | reply 338 | February 8, 2025 9:59 PM |
Off topic, but did anyone else catch Kunteia on Wheel of Fortune tonight? Yes, that was her name, poor thing. She seemed nice.
by Anonymous | reply 339 | February 10, 2025 11:26 PM |
I was thinking the same, R339.
by Anonymous | reply 340 | February 10, 2025 11:59 PM |
Will they bring Amy back?
by Anonymous | reply 341 | February 11, 2025 12:02 AM |
God, I hope not.
by Anonymous | reply 342 | February 11, 2025 12:26 AM |
The aggressive intensity of the nerdbros is so offputting to me.
by Anonymous | reply 343 | February 11, 2025 1:31 PM |
Poor Isaac.
by Anonymous | reply 344 | February 11, 2025 11:27 PM |
Let spectrum Neilesh win to put us out of our misery.
by Anonymous | reply 345 | February 12, 2025 12:21 AM |
Isaac surprised me a bit. Adrianna applauding the win. Neilish disgruntled.
by Anonymous | reply 346 | February 13, 2025 2:39 AM |
Neilish is creepy.
by Anonymous | reply 347 | February 13, 2025 10:13 AM |
A suited nerd would usually be hot to me. In his case ... go away!
by Anonymous | reply 348 | February 13, 2025 11:40 AM |
Does anyone have vids of Isaac rubbing one out? That’d be hot to see.
by Anonymous | reply 349 | February 13, 2025 11:44 AM |
Neilish seems quite decent during the chit chat with Ken, which is usually the most agonizing part of any episode. But the rest of the time… oy.
by Anonymous | reply 350 | February 13, 2025 11:58 AM |
I find Isaac's dorkiness likeable, thoughbI know I'm in the minority about that.
Of course Adrianna is applauding the win: that means she still has a chance - though I think Neilish will end up being the champ, not to mention one of the most unsettling looking ToC winners ever.
by Anonymous | reply 351 | February 13, 2025 7:52 PM |
Isaac was probably a virgin until he hooked up with his lady six years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 352 | February 13, 2025 8:42 PM |
MORE tourmament??? Oy veigh!
I've been wondering about getting new players while L A burns, however?
by Anonymous | reply 353 | February 14, 2025 12:03 AM |
Oy vey is not spelled liked Vivien Leigh.
by Anonymous | reply 354 | February 14, 2025 5:23 AM |
Congrats to Neilish. Definitely quite knowledgeable, even if he is nerdish and lacks social skills.
Now he moves on the Masters. Be interesting to see how he fares against James Holzhauer.
And we've got an Exhibition game coming up tomorrow? Not sure what that means. I guess its just a filler episode waiting for the Jeopardy Invitational to start on Monday.
by Anonymous | reply 355 | February 14, 2025 7:43 AM |
Link below has the full list of all 27 contestants playing in the Jeopardy Invitations, which starts on Monday.
Two former Masters are in the Invitational -- Matt Amodio and Amy Schneider.
And several DL favorites are playing too, including Juveria Zaheer, Margaret Sheldon and Roger Craig.
The Invitational also includes someone DL Jeopardy! fans were not so fond of -- Ray Lalonde.
by Anonymous | reply 356 | February 14, 2025 7:49 AM |
I prefer Ray to Ben Chan.
by Anonymous | reply 357 | February 14, 2025 11:31 AM |
Will they ever bring back DL fave Cris Peluso (or whatever his name was?

How is Amy's CAA gig doing?
by Anonymous | reply 360 | February 14, 2025 1:55 PM |
Too many tournaments.
by Anonymous | reply 361 | February 14, 2025 2:09 PM |
This isn’t even the last one. After the Invitational comes the Masters.
by Anonymous | reply 362 | February 14, 2025 2:11 PM |
I like ToC and the Masters. All the other ones need to go.
by Anonymous | reply 363 | February 14, 2025 4:55 PM |
Sick of tournaments, although they could go in a different direction. e.g. Tournament of Bottom Boys, Tournament of Alpha Tops, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 364 | February 14, 2025 7:15 PM |
If it wasn't for Second Chances Tournament, we wouldn't have gotten Drew back.
If it wasn't for Champions Wildcard last year, we wouldn't have gotten Juveria back. Or Yungshen back.
All three became DL faves.
I do wonder why Cris Pannullo isn't in this Invitational Yungshen as well. Wonder if they were invited and declined or what.
by Anonymous | reply 365 | February 14, 2025 7:27 PM |
Tournament of Best-Looking Men!
by Anonymous | reply 366 | February 14, 2025 9:20 PM |
I am so confused...why are Adriana and Isaac back tonight??
by Anonymous | reply 367 | February 14, 2025 11:03 PM |
r367 It's a filler game. Doesn't count. Neilish won the tournament yesterday, but they needed a episode to fill in before the Invitational Tournament starts on Monday. So, they filmed this "exhibition:" game.
by Anonymous | reply 368 | February 14, 2025 11:07 PM |
I really liked tonight. Great seeing them having fun without all the competitive pressure.
by Anonymous | reply 369 | February 15, 2025 12:07 AM |
Final Jeopardy seemed like a leftover question from a Celebrity or Teen Tournament.
by Anonymous | reply 370 | February 15, 2025 12:27 AM |
I like Ken J.
by Anonymous | reply 371 | February 15, 2025 12:32 AM |
Right, R370? It was pretty easy, considering all the FJ’s lately have been impossibly hard.
by Anonymous | reply 372 | February 15, 2025 12:50 AM |
I really hate the anagram and word-combining puzzle categories. They don't belong.
by Anonymous | reply 373 | February 15, 2025 8:42 AM |
The reformed barista seems nice. What's up with the librarian archivist from Indiana? How on earth did she pass the charisma test?
by Anonymous | reply 374 | February 15, 2025 3:02 PM |
You think there’s a charisma test?
by Anonymous | reply 375 | February 15, 2025 3:10 PM |
Yes, R373, I hate those categories with a passion.
Before and after, give me a fucking break. That category they had yesterday was super lame as well, the one about “it sounds like a celebrity” God help us. 🙄
by Anonymous | reply 376 | February 15, 2025 5:26 PM |
Where did Doug come from? He reminded me, sadly, of Admiral Stockdale.
by Anonymous | reply 377 | February 17, 2025 11:59 PM |
Hannah put up a good fight!
by Anonymous | reply 378 | February 18, 2025 12:56 AM |
I agree, R374. She is a good player but dull, unsmiling, rarely interacts with others.
by Anonymous | reply 379 | February 18, 2025 1:03 AM |
What? Hannah smiles a lot. She's just a bit shy.
by Anonymous | reply 380 | February 18, 2025 1:11 AM |
Referring to Adriana the archivist, R380.
by Anonymous | reply 381 | February 18, 2025 1:23 AM |
Happy to see Matt and glad he won.
Did Hannah put on weight? That throat looked sus.
by Anonymous | reply 382 | February 18, 2025 2:18 AM |
Hannah did very well against Matt. Was rooting for her to come out on top.
Felt sorry for Doug. Would be embarrassing to come back some 35+ years later only to finish up so far in the red.
by Anonymous | reply 383 | February 18, 2025 9:21 AM |
Love Matt! Although he looks a bit fleshier.
by Anonymous | reply 384 | February 18, 2025 6:51 PM |
Did Hannah put on weight?
Matt's the one who's developed fat face.
And that Harpo Marx hair isn't doing him any favors.
by Anonymous | reply 385 | February 18, 2025 10:05 PM |
Skyler was cute. Great to see Margaret again! Will be interesting to see the winner against the big time winners like Matt and Amy.
by Anonymous | reply 386 | February 19, 2025 12:14 AM |
I usually don't comment on women's looks, but Margaret's hair is doing her no favors as well.
by Anonymous | reply 387 | February 19, 2025 1:28 AM |
I liked Matt with the extra chubbiness, but he needs to get a fade and have the mop top mowed down a bit.
I like Hannah, and she’s one of the strongest female Jeopardy! contestants in recent years. I don’t think it was ever in doubt though that Amy Schneider’s position as the show’s winningest woman of all time was ever at risk. In fact, my money is on Amy to win the whole shebang and consolidate her track record as queen of the buzzer.
by Anonymous | reply 388 | February 19, 2025 2:45 AM |
Margaret let herself go!
by Anonymous | reply 389 | February 19, 2025 3:40 AM |
Margaret's hair definitely did her no favors. But it was nice to see her again.
Skylar was quite attractive and pinged my gaydar. Was surprised he missed an easy DD of North and South Vietnam. But he's far too young.
But wow Jaskaran was amazing. Fast on the buzzer and knowledgeable too.
Had no idea on Final and was stunned the Plessy decision was reported in railroad news. Clearly no one at the time knew the real implications of that decision.
by Anonymous | reply 390 | February 19, 2025 7:10 AM |
Jaskaran = very handsome
by Anonymous | reply 391 | February 19, 2025 12:45 PM |
Had no idea on Final and was stunned the Plessy decision was reported in railroad news. Clearly no one at the time knew the real implications of that decision.
It was just a decision affirming the status quo. No reason for it to be perceived as a big deal before the civil rights movement.
I got it, but I’m a lawyer.
by Anonymous | reply 392 | February 19, 2025 1:06 PM |
I loved Jaskaran’s voice as well as his thick beard. Very sexy. I have a major weakness for Arab/Middle Eastern men. They are usually phenomenal in bed and have thick cocks.
When they showed Skylar as a pudgy gayling from 2013, I almost gasped because I totally remembered him and then I also realized how old I am now.
Too much commentary from Margaret Shelton. Just play the game, dear.
by Anonymous | reply 393 | February 19, 2025 6:04 PM |
Sikhs are not Arabs or Middle Eastern. They are from India.
by Anonymous | reply 394 | February 19, 2025 6:53 PM |
It was good to see Margaret again. I'm sorry she didn't do better. She looks fine and her hair is fine, you bitches.
by Anonymous | reply 395 | February 19, 2025 8:10 PM |
I think "fetch" has a better chance of catching on. Ken needs to give the "JIT" crap a rest.
by Anonymous | reply 396 | February 19, 2025 9:43 PM |
When did Jeopardy stop giving viewers a glimpse of the next night's guest at the end of each program?
Do you miss that feature? I do.
by Anonymous | reply 397 | February 19, 2025 11:02 PM |
I'm watching now and I hope that sycophant Emily doesn't win.
by Anonymous | reply 398 | February 19, 2025 11:45 PM |
Shit, we're stuck with her again.
by Anonymous | reply 399 | February 19, 2025 11:58 PM |
R393: I have a major weakness for South Asians, too, but Jaskaran, no. Too spectrum (cold) for me.
Got Final on a wild guess. Glad Emily won, didn't recognize Rachel at all, guess she's either from the distant past or episodes I didn't see. They should've gotten Yankee from three New England states.
by Anonymous | reply 400 | February 20, 2025 12:02 AM |
I know she's never been a DL fan favorite, but I like Emily. She's very warm and fun. Glad she won.
by Anonymous | reply 401 | February 20, 2025 12:54 AM |
R401 Nooooooooooooooooo. She tried to bribe Ken Jennings with a gift. That's disqualifying in my opinion. INAPPROPRIATE. I bet the other players wanted to stomp on her fat feet.
by Anonymous | reply 402 | February 20, 2025 1:07 AM |
I know she's never been a DL fan favorite, but I like Emily. She's very warm and fun. Glad she won.
I am too. I was rooting for her the whole game. There’s something very welcoming about her. She even somehow made the super corny friendship bracelet thing work.
I’m not a fan of than smug actor guy and never have enjoyed him so I was happy to root elsewhere. I was interested in Rachel - she was a new contestant to me too. I kept thinking that she could play Joyce Carol Oates in a biopic.
by Anonymous | reply 403 | February 20, 2025 2:05 AM |
*that
by Anonymous | reply 404 | February 20, 2025 2:06 AM |
I’ve always liked Emily and was rooting for her to win.
She may claim all the contestants are friends, but Rachel and Jonathan didn’t seem friendly after the loss. Both seemed to be brooding.
Had no idea on Final.
by Anonymous | reply 405 | February 20, 2025 7:45 AM |
I am SO Glad that I am not the only one who cannot stand Emily. She is a sycophantic, annoying blob of Miss Smartypants mixed with the girl your mother told you to avoid on the bus because she would rope you into selling HER Girl Scout cookies on a commission you would never get paid for. Friendship bracelets my ass! She's probably doused them in Jean Nate or Love's Baby Soft and she insists that she tie it on your wrist herself so she can make sure you don't leave it in a drawer somewhere. I fucking Hate her. And I bet her mother does too.
by Anonymous | reply 406 | February 20, 2025 10:17 AM |
So she's Tracy Flick?
by Anonymous | reply 407 | February 20, 2025 11:53 AM |
Do we really think Ken was wearing his bracelet?
by Anonymous | reply 408 | February 20, 2025 11:55 AM |
^^^ as a cock ring perhaps
by Anonymous | reply 409 | February 20, 2025 12:16 PM |
Emily is very DL Divisive.
by Anonymous | reply 410 | February 20, 2025 1:22 PM |
Emily is smarter than you, haters…
by Anonymous | reply 411 | February 20, 2025 1:47 PM |

She is a liar.
by Anonymous | reply 412 | February 20, 2025 2:02 PM |
I was watching the other contestants’ reactions when she said they were all friends. They did not indicate in any way that they agreed with her.
by Anonymous | reply 413 | February 20, 2025 2:05 PM |
Just played the tape. She actually said the contestants are “very close friends” which is what caught my attention in the first place. Seems unlikely. Too bad Ken didn’t establish whether the other contestants were wearing their Emily friendship bracelets.
by Anonymous | reply 414 | February 20, 2025 2:13 PM |
Explain to me why contestants applaud other contestants win big on a double jeopardy. Also, when someone wins a double jeopardy, why do they not receive DOUBLE what they bid.
by Anonymous | reply 415 | February 20, 2025 2:26 PM |
….when other contestants applaud…
by Anonymous | reply 416 | February 20, 2025 2:27 PM |
So FJ the other night was about scarlet fever and mentioned Mary Ingalls.
So not even the Jeopardy people knew it was that other illness the true cause of her blindness.
Someone mentioned on another thread that viral encephalitis was the real cause of her blindness.
I just now remembered about the question whilst seeing a video showing Helen Keller “talking”. I wanted to add that she was a proponent of eugenics at some point in her life but thought not to upset the praise-athon going on in that Insta post. 🫤
by Anonymous | reply 417 | February 20, 2025 5:54 PM |
I think you should applaud a bold bet, not so much any Daily Double. Certainly not simply finding a DD.
They should increase the amount that a contestant with no money can bet to minimize the disappointment of finding it early. Say up to $2,000 in the first round.
by Anonymous | reply 418 | February 20, 2025 6:07 PM |
R417 The FJ question was about what was in portrayed in the book(s) and read:
Still around today, this strep infection that causes a rash has terrible effects in “Little Women” & the “Little House on the Prairie” books.
Whether scientists today believe that to be the true or not, that's what author Ingalls portrayed in her book, "By the shores of the Silver Lake."

by Anonymous | reply 422 | February 21, 2025 2:05 AM |
R422 I guessed Amarillo as well, and Texas is part of the Southwest.

It’s my neck of the wood also, so felt a little dumb about the origins of names.

I couldn't believe none of them got FJ!
I thought it was quite easy knowing the American author's future wife was from the South.
by Anonymous | reply 429 | February 24, 2025 11:29 PM |
R429 agree. I thought it was fairly common knowledge.
by Anonymous | reply 430 | February 25, 2025 12:01 AM |
I guessed Final correctly, though wasn't certain.
Amy's competive male chromosomes shine while she's playing.
Never saw Avi before, but he had a good sense of humor.
by Anonymous | reply 431 | February 25, 2025 12:53 AM |
Faulkner was a weak guess (especially for genius Amy) because the clue seemed to point out the wife was from the South, not the author. Or was she the one who guessed Hemingway?
by Anonymous | reply 432 | February 25, 2025 1:01 AM |
Amy’s face is as lovely as ever, but her biceps are turning to cottage cheese.
by Anonymous | reply 433 | February 25, 2025 1:03 AM |
Believe it or not, after the question was read, that cover of The Great Gatsby came to my mind immediately.
Couldn’t even remember Fitzgeralds name but I thought of him right away. 🤷🏻♀️

My husband and I visited the Zelda Fitzgerald house in 2023 when we drove through Montgomery, but even before then I knew Zelda was from the South (with all the crazy that seems to come with it.) Also surprised all three got it wrong.
by Anonymous | reply 437 | February 25, 2025 4:46 AM |
Luigi has all the charisma of a turd in the punchbowl.
by Anonymous | reply 438 | February 25, 2025 5:49 AM |
Unlike you, R438?
by Anonymous | reply 439 | February 25, 2025 12:17 PM |
He did his job in blocking Amy, whom I feel can be a real publicity hound.
by Anonymous | reply 440 | February 25, 2025 1:13 PM |
Sad to hear that their book flopped. Did they really think it would be a bestseller?
by Anonymous | reply 441 | February 25, 2025 2:01 PM |
Amy's tattoo is fugly..
by Anonymous | reply 442 | February 25, 2025 6:21 PM |
I'm surprised I don't remember Avi having been on before because I always remember the ones I find attractive.
I don't know if anyone else picked up on it, but it was obvious Amy's interview was edited because I noticed as she was speaking they cut something out.
Luigi knew his stuff, but he sure does seem like a bore.
by Anonymous | reply 443 | February 25, 2025 7:03 PM |
I wept when Amy described her tattoo on a previous “Jeopardy!” appearance. Then I saw it. It certainly makes a statement.
by Anonymous | reply 444 | February 25, 2025 7:07 PM |
R443: Avi was not on regular programs, but ones highlighting youngsters.
by Anonymous | reply 445 | February 25, 2025 9:52 PM |
Wildly guessed Apia, Samoa for Final. Good to see nice guy Ryan back, don't recall Rachel at all. Ray? Well ... on to the finals to see how he does.
by Anonymous | reply 446 | February 26, 2025 12:00 AM |
I know he's never been a DL fave but I like Ray and was glad to see him back and winning.
by Anonymous | reply 447 | February 26, 2025 12:34 AM |
R447,
No one was more happy to see Ray back on Jeopardy and see him win than Ray himself.
His self-congratulatory smirk with every correct response has gotten worse.
If I were one of his opponents, I would have kicked him out of his seat.
by Anonymous | reply 448 | February 26, 2025 12:51 AM |
It was a good game, but Ray's smirk after being announced the winner was off putting.
by Anonymous | reply 449 | February 26, 2025 7:12 AM |
Not a fan of Ben Chan
by Anonymous | reply 450 | February 26, 2025 12:05 PM |
Why was Ray LaLonde sitting? Does he have a hemorrhoid? One of the most smug and annoying players of all time. And remember this, all: he has an identical twin!
I really can’t stand fat, charisma-free Luigi. Such a cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 451 | February 26, 2025 7:27 PM |
LaLonde has some kind of spine/nervous condition where he "falls" from side to side, and so he gets to sit.
I don't think he is completely smug, just Canadian.
by Anonymous | reply 452 | February 26, 2025 7:37 PM |
He was doing the swaying thing, even whilst seated.
by Anonymous | reply 453 | February 26, 2025 7:41 PM |
There was certainly a lot of Luigi.
by Anonymous | reply 454 | February 26, 2025 8:03 PM |
I don't see the smugness or the smirk. I see an older man smiling with pride that he responded first with the correct response.
by Anonymous | reply 455 | February 26, 2025 8:13 PM |
Pride? You mean the deadly sin?
by Anonymous | reply 456 | February 26, 2025 9:14 PM |
I'm just glad we don't have to endure his performance of HMS Pinafore.
by Anonymous | reply 457 | February 26, 2025 10:48 PM |
Yay Shane! I thought Ben was off his game tonight, but Shane was still on fire for awhile there.
by Anonymous | reply 458 | February 26, 2025 11:30 PM |
Now, Ben is the one who I find insufferable. Glad Shane won tonight.
by Anonymous | reply 459 | February 26, 2025 11:39 PM |
I don't recall having seen Shane nor the gal (who seems insufferable also) before.
Got Final
by Anonymous | reply 460 | February 27, 2025 12:09 AM |
Me neither, R460.
I liked Luigi ok.
by Anonymous | reply 461 | February 27, 2025 12:29 AM |
Insufferable and sort of an idiot by J! standards
by Anonymous | reply 462 | February 27, 2025 6:36 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 463 | February 27, 2025 11:13 PM |
Now, now...
by Anonymous | reply 464 | February 27, 2025 11:34 PM |
Oh my god....I want to see his house, and check his Google search history.
by Anonymous | reply 465 | February 28, 2025 2:04 AM |
He was ready to fly on out of there.
by Anonymous | reply 466 | February 28, 2025 2:05 AM |
Go Juveria!! So glad she won.
by Anonymous | reply 467 | February 28, 2025 6:45 AM |
My god, that was an ugly sweater.
When they gave him the gay genes, they left out the fashion sense gene.
by Anonymous | reply 468 | February 28, 2025 6:48 AM |
At this level, sick o’ cinchy FJ. As a Ferber & Houdini scholar, the answer was just so obvious.
by Anonymous | reply 469 | February 28, 2025 11:37 PM |
Not obvious to me. Disgusted about goody-goody Roger.
by Anonymous | reply 470 | February 28, 2025 11:59 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 471 | March 1, 2025 12:42 AM |
When he said that, R471, he sounded and looked EXACTLY like what people should be protecting kids from.
Major creepy vibes.
I thought Cary Grant for some obviously ignorant reason.😛
by Anonymous | reply 472 | March 1, 2025 12:50 AM |
I hated the comedienne so much. You can tell she's not funny but never stops thinking she is and probably never shuts up. I'm glad she was a big ZERO! I knew Amy was going to be in this tournament. He gets asked all the time. I cringed so hard when he said he was making his life story into a children's book. Gag. He needs a wig to. The balding look sucks for him.
by Anonymous | reply 473 | March 1, 2025 12:54 AM |
I loved that Not Today Satin! category.
hysterical.
Was Bianca Del Rio the first person to say this on camera? I loved that line when she said it. Yes, I was watching that show back then.
by Anonymous | reply 474 | March 1, 2025 12:56 AM |
Ken blessed the effort, so I think he means to protect kids in the best sense of the phrase.
by Anonymous | reply 475 | March 1, 2025 12:58 AM |
I’d read Amy’s book if it’s illustrated by Maurice Sendak.
by Anonymous | reply 476 | March 1, 2025 1:04 AM |
One of the reviews on Amy's book
"I guess I expected excellence from this woman who succeeded so amazingly at Jeopardy. I anticipated her sharing her lifelong desire to be excellent. What I read was just about repulsive. Why she thought anyone would like to hear about blow jobs given and received, drug use and promiscuity is beyond me. I had to push myself to finish it because I believed she somehow would redeem herself. That didn’t happen."
by Anonymous | reply 477 | March 1, 2025 1:12 AM |
Matt now resembles fourth season Robert Reed on “The Brady Bunch”.
by Anonymous | reply 478 | March 3, 2025 5:14 PM |
The description of Amy’s book reminds me of the Golden Girls scene when everyone in the bookstore falls all over themselves to grab a copy of “Vixen: Story of a Woman” following Blanche’s screed.
by Anonymous | reply 479 | March 3, 2025 5:20 PM |
What did Matt do to his hair? He looks like Mike Brady now.
by Anonymous | reply 480 | March 3, 2025 11:14 PM |
I want Matt Immodium inside me quite deeply!
by Anonymous | reply 481 | March 3, 2025 11:57 PM |
I'm glad Matt got rid of Luigi, but I guessed Jay, too.
by Anonymous | reply 482 | March 3, 2025 11:58 PM |
I'm glad Luigi didn't win, he annoyed me by constantly clicking his buzzer.
by Anonymous | reply 483 | March 3, 2025 11:59 PM |
Matt! Happy he won.
Plus, he answered a Supernatural question!! 🤓🤗
by Anonymous | reply 484 | March 4, 2025 12:39 AM |
Great game!
For someone who claims not to know anything about pop culture, Matt with his Mike Brady hair sure got a lot of pop culture questions.
Matt also seems to have put on a few pounds since the quarter final game.
I also said John Jay for Final, but was fairly confident it was wrong. Don’t think I’ve ever heard of Randolph.
by Anonymous | reply 485 | March 4, 2025 6:14 AM |
I thought it might have been Eldridge Gerry.
by Anonymous | reply 486 | March 4, 2025 1:57 PM |

I had NO idea FJ.
by Anonymous | reply 491 | March 5, 2025 5:56 AM |
YAY Juveria. So glad she came out victorious.
To think that Juveria was defeated in her very first game of Jeopardy (by Hannah Wilson). If it weren't for the Second Chances Tournament, we'd have never gotten to see how good Juveria actually is. And not only did she win the Second Chances contest, she went on to win Champions Wildcard. She was defeated early in last year's Tournament of Champions, but now she in finals of the Invitational.
Very impressive.!
by Anonymous | reply 492 | March 5, 2025 8:40 AM |
So, now its Roger, Matt and Juveriia in the finals.
These should be some great games!
by Anonymous | reply 493 | March 5, 2025 8:41 AM |
And after the Invitational we have the Masters which is also invitational?
Can’t regular people get a chance to play?
by Anonymous | reply 494 | March 5, 2025 2:10 PM |
Juveria will win. Agree, who odd that she lost her first game. She seems unbeatable... even after that half-human Matt.
by Anonymous | reply 495 | March 5, 2025 3:07 PM |
I hate all this tournament shit. I also mourn the loss of the formality that raised Jeopardy above other game shows.
by Anonymous | reply 496 | March 5, 2025 3:29 PM |
Either one okay with me to block Roger "Save the Children" Clark.
by Anonymous | reply 497 | March 5, 2025 4:28 PM |
Why hasn't Cris Panullo been invited back for any of these special tournament games?

by Anonymous | reply 499 | March 5, 2025 11:06 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 501 | March 6, 2025 11:59 PM |
That was a suck-ass tourny.
Too short!
But I guess I’m glad Matt won.
by Anonymous | reply 502 | March 7, 2025 12:30 AM |
I would have preferred Roger, who has a great love, or Juveria, but you can’t argue with Matt’s intellect. Henry the 2nd was so obvious to anyone who’d recently watched ‘Beckett’.
by Anonymous | reply 503 | March 7, 2025 1:42 AM |
Matt's a bright guy.
by Anonymous | reply 504 | March 7, 2025 1:54 AM |
I worry for Matt’s health. He looks doughy. I pray he breeds before taken down by a heart attack.
by Anonymous | reply 505 | March 7, 2025 1:59 AM |
Flogging Sondheim for a few missteps strikes me as silly and picayune. However, I must weigh in with what I see as the most questionable lyric in I Feel Pretty: "She's the one who is in an advanced state of shock." Pretty sophisticated assessment for these gals.
by Anonymous | reply 506 | March 7, 2025 3:10 AM |
R496 I completely disagree about the loss of formality—I find the looser show more enjoyable, and Ken Jennings has often made me laugh out loud. I might as well say it, even if it is Jeopardy heresy—I know Alex Trebek turned it from a game show into an institution and that would not have happened if people hadn’t liked having him in their homes night after night. So did I—but I have come to prefer Ken.
by Anonymous | reply 507 | March 7, 2025 6:22 AM |
Not much of a tournament. Should have at least been a best 3 out of 7 tournament, rather than a best 2 out 4 tournament.
Would have preferred Juveria or Roger had won, but can’t deny Matt is smart
by Anonymous | reply 508 | March 7, 2025 8:43 AM |
We had a tournament period before this, so best we get back to regular games faster.
I think it's great that Ken has actually experienced being a contestant himself.

by Anonymous | reply 513 | March 7, 2025 11:54 PM |
Was Omar gorgeous? I can answer that: Yes!
Sadly, he whiffed question after question.
by Anonymous | reply 514 | March 7, 2025 11:59 PM |
I thought Quantum Leap.
Amazing Stories was such a non-event.
by Anonymous | reply 515 | March 8, 2025 12:29 AM |
I thought they were going for Ripley's Believe It or Not.
by Anonymous | reply 516 | March 8, 2025 1:06 AM |
Poor Omar! Every time he whiffed he touched his head as if to say "IDIOT!"
by Anonymous | reply 517 | March 8, 2025 1:20 AM |
Amazing Stories was the go-to magazine for the science fiction reading intelligentsia. I’m devastated that all three bombed on it. However, I barely remember the TV series. Did it come out about the same time as The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles? Poor Spielberg. He’s probably a billionaire, but it’s not for efforts like these.
by Anonymous | reply 518 | March 8, 2025 1:28 AM |
Omar slamming his forehead with the palm of his hand so many times made me wish I could have just handed the poor guy a V8.
by Anonymous | reply 519 | March 8, 2025 1:31 AM |
I liked Omar, but sinking to -$6K at one point was pretty bad.
As for the champ: has there ever been someone who's won that many games rack up such a low total in winnings?
At the rate she's going, she'll need to win 10 games total to cross the $100K mark.
by Anonymous | reply 520 | March 8, 2025 3:27 PM |
She seems to have lucked out on competitors not much better than herself.

Harvey's wide-eyed stare is unsettling.

I apologize for my dig about Harvey - I posted that before I listened to his intro and learned about his diagnosis of Parkinson's.
by Anonymous | reply 524 | March 10, 2025 11:11 PM |
My dad had Parkinsons, so Harvey it is. Unfortunately, he seems young to be that disabled. My DL homies here would be thrilled by a guy so into trivia; and, of he's oriented to the gals, you'd be cool with BFF ... I hope!

I read Fox's memoir [italic]No Time Like the Future[/italic] recently - definitely recommended. Harvey did a great job with showing the person inside his crippled body, without any hint of self-pity. Reminds me of a friend who passed with ALS.

by Anonymous | reply 540 | March 12, 2025 12:22 AM |
So much for your prediction, R528.
Sad to see him go. He was really outmatched. Makes you wonder about the two ladies from yesterday.
by Anonymous | reply 541 | March 12, 2025 12:59 AM |
they gear their questions to who is going to be on and who might hopefully get the answers correct to keep viewers happy. Even to be inclusive. by Anonymous | reply 542 | March 12, 2025 1:03 AM |
R542,
That is absolutely untrue. Stop talking out of your ass.
You’re referring to the quiz show scandals of the 1950s.

by Anonymous | reply 548 | March 12, 2025 2:22 AM |
Sad to see Harvey go. He was so inspirational. ABC World News Tonight even did a segment on him during the evening news.
James certainly came off as gay. Pinged to high heaven. Seemed too excited to have gotten the Keith Haring clue. But apparently he is straight. This article identifies Holly as his wife.

R551 A race to the bottom?
by Anonymous | reply 552 | March 12, 2025 2:40 PM |
I've lost count of the seemingly gay Jeopardy contestants who turned out to have a wife.
But in the special case of James, he's by far the gayest straight guy I can think of since that contestant from a year or two ago who reminded me a little of Dustin Lance Black.
by Anonymous | reply 553 | March 12, 2025 6:12 PM |
Is breakfast cereal hoarding a gay trait?

I'm reminded of writer A J Jacobs' self-awareness in telling the story of when a mutual co-worker told his future wife that Jacobs was interested in her, she replied, "But, he's gay!" (as she'd assumed)

I wanted the nerdy dude to win.

The picture of him and his wife certifies that he’s a case of “MOT” (matter of time).

Matter of time?
Where does James live that he's not hit on by hot gay guys every day??

Was Brian gay or just on the spectrum?
by Anonymous | reply 563 | March 13, 2025 6:50 AM |
I really don’t find James that attractive. He is like Max Headroom come to life. And he has an annoying tic of blowing air out of his mouth dramatically after getting an answer right before choosing another clue.
by Anonymous | reply 565 | March 13, 2025 12:57 PM |
I have to wonder how boring your life must be to come up with cereal-hoarding as the best anecdote.to share. Same as being near the set of Amazing Race.
by Anonymous | reply 566 | March 13, 2025 1:51 PM |
r563, I don't think they're mutually exclusive
by Anonymous | reply 567 | March 13, 2025 2:20 PM |
Noticed the cereal hoarding story was "my basement" rather than "our basement."
by Anonymous | reply 568 | March 13, 2025 5:59 PM |
I didn’t actually entirely believe the cereal hoarding anecdote. It felt cooked up.
by Anonymous | reply 569 | March 13, 2025 6:29 PM |
RESPECT the porn stache! James' lapel pin was the cherry on gay-ping sundae.
Final was an immediate giveaway!

Three good players but only one got the easy FJ right.
by Anonymous | reply 571 | March 14, 2025 12:06 AM |
I wondered if Twister was a generational thing. I played it in high school and I'm 75. I knew it immediately.
Though obviously the new young champ got it.
Is it still played?
by Anonymous | reply 572 | March 14, 2025 12:15 AM |
What exactly was that lapel pin on James? I couldn't make it out.
by Anonymous | reply 573 | March 14, 2025 12:16 AM |
Twister lives on as a straight porn trope, from what I’ve seen.
by Anonymous | reply 574 | March 14, 2025 12:24 AM |
Hard to say, R573. In the past, host has brought it up, but not here.
by Anonymous | reply 575 | March 14, 2025 12:30 AM |
James was thrown by some actual competition tonight.
by Anonymous | reply 576 | March 14, 2025 12:43 AM |
I guessed Twister right away as well.
Too bad the hot guy couldn’t sustain his wins.
Did anybody else get the wrong sort of feeling when he said the word “woke” when it was an answer on his first day? He said it as if was a bad word. I didn’t like him after that.
by Anonymous | reply 577 | March 14, 2025 3:25 AM |
I didn't get that at all, more like he was sneering at the detractors of the word.
by Anonymous | reply 578 | March 14, 2025 6:41 AM |
Go Jack. Great game with three good players. Liz will surely be back for Second Chances.
Yes, Twister was incredibly obvious for Final.

It was obvious, but I could not think of the name of it—and that was at home, no pressure. I would have ended up writing “the game with the big colored dots.”
Too bad the hot guy couldn’t sustain his wins.

Wow, I really thought ack would be around for a while, but he just seemed to fold early tonight.
Yay, Jamie for putting up a good fight.

Yes curious... does Jeopardy have higher % of non-binary contestants than the general population? And higher % of neurodivergent? Or is Jeopardy just assertively inclusive?

Like I said. Dateless on a Saturday night.

Seems to R584. I get trivia a magnetic for neurodivergent, but the trans/"they" seems unusually high.
New champ a little bland. Note that former champ shouted out female s/o?

I just knew none of them would recognize Yves Montand!

My lack of toy and game knowledge limited my only guess to the correct one. I could think of no other possibilities.

Eh, I thought Etch-A-Sketch and then that other circle thingy that you drew with colored pens or pencils, Spirograph? Is that what it was called?
I always wanted one but we probably couldn’t afford it.

I was lost. I guessed “Silly Putty”!

I'm old, but didn't get Final. Decent pornstache if FTM, R599.
Hot for suits, but Alex is lame in that dept, sadly.

How can you miss Cheers?? Even Ken was alarmed that an 80’s show is considered classical tv now. 🤦🏻♀️
