Genius from Miami figures out his Cyber truck isn't meant to haul hay

A Mr. Jacob Feder from Ft. Lee, New Jersey asks why, why? Actually, Miami but I wanted to invoke Roseanne Roseannadanna. The Feder name is correct, though.

Tesla Cybertruck Owner Says Carrying Hay Killed His Truck’s Air Suspension, Now His Cybertruck is Slowly Sinking into the Ground.

So weird, all of it. A Jewish guy hauling hay in a show pony "pickup?"

Jacob Feder, a Cybertruck owner from Miami, Florida, says his truck’s air compressor stopped working after he used the bed to carry hay. In addition, since the compressor powers the air suspension, Jacob’s truck is now sitting lopsided after the rear suspension started to sink to the ground.

BECAUSE IT ISN'T A FUCKING TRUCK.

DUH.

by Anonymousreply 1November 30, 2024 9:54 AM

What the hell. The air suspension in my Bentley works just fine. Why did my Tesla break when I filled it with 1000 lbs of cargo?

by Anonymousreply 2November 30, 2024 10:59 AM

Could it BE any uglier?

by Anonymousreply 3November 30, 2024 11:18 AM

It's just an ugly vehicle. Why do people even want one?

by Anonymousreply 4November 30, 2024 11:27 AM

If you've ever seen one driving on the road, they are even uglier up close.

by Anonymousreply 5November 30, 2024 11:58 AM

I LOVE cars & I’ve never liked this alleged “truck”, LOL!

I’ve seen one up close & found it to be hideous, and I’m not into the interior, either.

Same with the Tesla, which I’ve been in many, many times & I find the car to be of lesser quality than a rare, collectible Match Box.

I appreciate the economic value of the Tesla, but I would not trust the car to go on autopilot, & it’s one of the worst constructed, cars, interior wise. Absolutely cheap & ugly interior. I’d rather get into a Prius, 24/7/365.

And no, IDGAF what any ridiculous fanboy states in response.

So far, the only thing I’ve seen Musk provide consumers with of any real value are his fold out, modular homes that he purchased from another company. Not sure how well those hold up after a few years, but it’s the one thing he has that can be worth it weight in gold, after the kinks are worked out.

I honestly do not understand why our government values this man so much. I understand that he has great vision, or so he has convinced others of this, but so far? I don’t see anything so special about him.

Flame away, IDGAF.

by Anonymousreply 6November 30, 2024 12:20 PM

Just wanted to correct my line of thinking…

I do understand why our government values him, however, I’m not sure he was the best contractor out there for the job.

by Anonymousreply 7November 30, 2024 12:42 PM

The most interesting part of this story to me is that there was a Jewish guy in Miami transporting enormous bales of hay. 🤔

by Anonymousreply 8November 30, 2024 3:01 PM

So is the media going to keep creating all these idiotic Tesla stories when people do stupid shit with their cars all the time because they hate Musk(I hate him too). All while telling us electric cars must be the future.

by Anonymousreply 9November 30, 2024 3:38 PM

R8, I'm gonna guess his daughter rides show horses. Just a guess.

And if you're gonna buy one of those monstrosities, just buy an old El Camino and get it over with. At least you can actually use that as a truck.

He made the mistake of thinking this ugly piece of shit was a normal pickup truck capable of carrying a payload in its bed, like every other pickup truck on the road.

Why would you think this thing is it all practical ? It just seems like an expensive toy whose sole purpose is to make its incel owners feel masculine.

by Anonymousreply 11November 30, 2024 4:04 PM

[quote] As Jacob explained, it has been weeks since he last transported hay; however, the way Tesla designed the truck, debris can easily enter below the bed and remain trapped in there unless you disassemble the bed and clean underneath.

That seems like a problem for a pickup truck.

by Anonymousreply 12November 30, 2024 4:05 PM

those cars look like dust busters.

by Anonymousreply 13November 30, 2024 4:07 PM

Musk operates like a dictator. He picked the design and did not want to hear any pushback from engineers. Just “do it.” This is the result here and it will be just as bad in his “government” role.

by Anonymousreply 14November 30, 2024 4:08 PM

R8 - I creeped him on Facebook. It gets better. He owns an exotic animal sanctuary.

by Anonymousreply 15November 30, 2024 4:12 PM

I should have guesses that, R15 -- Florida is full of those types, people with lions, tigers, and bears penned up in their yards.

by Anonymousreply 16November 30, 2024 4:18 PM

ugly, Floridian and stupid. he must have voted for turmp

by Anonymousreply 17November 30, 2024 4:20 PM

I’m not sure why OP blames Jacob Feder. Not at all obvious that hauling hay in a pick-up truck would destroy it. The problem is the poor vehicle design, not the owner’s behavior.

by Anonymousreply 18November 30, 2024 4:21 PM

Who?

by Anonymousreply 19December 1, 2024 12:25 AM

It ain’t no truck!

I could haul that much hat in my old Ford pickup , no problem.

Why people buy this hype is beyond me. Especially from a cuntflap like Leon.

by Anonymousreply 20December 1, 2024 1:15 AM

It does look like a dust buster, lmfao! I've never seen one in person but, it's ugly enough in photos. I'd be scared to death driving one on autopilot, too.

by Anonymousreply 21December 1, 2024 1:19 AM

It's a piece of shit!

It set 4 college students home for Thanksgiving alight on impact with a tree.

Cybertrucks cause pussies to get as dry as the Arizona desert.

by Anonymousreply 23December 1, 2024 2:17 AM

I saw 2 in a single afternoon, must've been a bad omen or something. They look like something someone DIYed in their garage with a blow torch and some aluminum siding because they didn't have money for a real SUV.

by Anonymousreply 24December 1, 2024 4:24 AM

I never thought about it, I guess it makes sense. I’ve yet to see an RV be pulled on one. Even if it has a good range, just like with gas when you haul something that heavy your efficiency is shot.

by Anonymousreply 25December 1, 2024 5:02 AM

R22 I just don’t like misinformation. Would they not have died in a non Tesla car? That accident looks pretty rough.

by Anonymousreply 26December 1, 2024 6:17 AM

The "News," just like idiot Christians, do not understand the laws of Physics or wish to be subject to them. And they wake up with inevitable "splitting" headaches.

Jesus Christ does not protect millionaire MAGAts from the laws of Physics, which were, of course, par for course in my Senior year of High School where Reagan cultists were rife and horrific people, like the Reids and the prosecuted Deaver who Reagan pardoned.

by Anonymousreply 27December 1, 2024 6:29 AM

The family mini-van will also work in a pinch.

by Anonymousreply 28December 1, 2024 6:34 AM

[quote] I just don’t like misinformation.

How would including the kind of car make it misinformation? The crash does look bad, you're right. Including the kind of car is relevant. There's legit concern about how EV batteries respond to accidents and Tesla's safety and practices. Good luck getting out of one of these things with no power. Looks like the tree survived. Do you think your car would go up in flames in this situation?

I guess when it comes to cars, stick to the experts. This is the outcome of when your strategy involves throwing spaghetti at the wall and burning out your employees. Gee, it’s almost like the guy at the top can’t read the room. I wonder why that is…..

by Anonymousreply 35December 2, 2024 11:13 PM

I saw my first one IRL last week.

I'm not a truck guy at all, so I thought the comment that this vehicle looks like a Dust Buster was hilarious.

by Anonymousreply 36December 2, 2024 11:27 PM

[quote]I guess when it comes to cars, stick to the experts.

According to the Kelly Blue Book the Tesla Model Y is the 4th best selling vehicle in the US in 2024. (the first two are trucks)

Still the best selling EV in the US.

And "As of November 30, 2024, the Tesla Model Y was the second best-selling car in the world, with 865,868 new sales. The Toyota Corolla was the best-selling car, with 901,991 sales."

Just so you know.

[quote]I'm not a truck guy at all, so I thought the comment that this vehicle looks like a Dust Buster was hilarious.

To me, it looked interesting in photos, but when I finally got to actually see one, I thought it looked like something somebody made in their garage.

It's Tesla's Edsel.

by Anonymousreply 37December 2, 2024 11:38 PM

Good sales can be based on hype and mean jack but go on ^

by Anonymousreply 38December 2, 2024 11:40 PM

R38 In the short term yes.

But if a car is consistently selling well, and in the case of the "Y" and the "3" spectacularly well, year after year after year, there can only be good solid reasons for it.

Even with slowing EV sales, Tesla is still the best selling EV. And they hold the highest percentage of value at resale than any other EV.

by Anonymousreply 39December 3, 2024 12:03 AM

It looks like a 4 door dumpster. I've seen a few around my area (Charlottesville, VA) and the are ugly and imposing. The original Hummer H-3 during the early 2000's was all the rage due to its imposing image, high price & exclusivity. Some people have lots of dollars but little sense hence the Cybertruck fad.
