Here is my thought. Fuck tiktok or what ever trend.

I teach primary grades in a community where MANY of the children are first generation Americans or even foreign born themselves. So five or six year olds mainly. Good for any child to acclimate to a different society from where they are born, or multi-cultural families where different languages are spoken at home than at school. Hear me now, NONE of these six year olds sound like this. After one year of kindergarten, unless they have a severe disability, they all sound “american” regardless of whether their parents were born in South Africa, china, or Bangladesh.

For Barron to sound like this at five or six means a couple things, he lived a VERY VERY sheltered life, only speaking with his mother in Slovenian and with his governess, he had some learning issues, AND, he had very very limited contact with his father or his half-siblings. like once a year contact.

I hadn’t heard about this, so I opened this thread thinking it might be Barron speaking recently, not as a child. Have we ever heard him speak otherwise?
