When are you putting up your Xmas tree?

I put mine up the week after the election and started playing Christmas music as a distraction.

I may skip it this year. The older I get, I find that I enjoy the decorations for the first week or so, but after that it just starts looking like clutter and I'm relieved when I get to un-decorate.

No tree for us this year, our new 9 month old kitty would tear it down within minutes.

Put mine up yesterday. Lovely, heavy snow fell all day created the right mood.

Growing up we had it up for weeks, but lately we put it up only a couple of days before christmas.

None of that stuff for me, thanks.

And those sad sack sentimentalists who keep a plastic tree up for many weeks and even months make me sick.
