The man to the left of the guy recording the video is just casually sitting there, as if he's watching a movie. Lol.

It's an impossible situation. The flight attendant(s) would have been attacked and injured if they intervened. How exactly is a smaller, weaker female supposed to do in such a situation? An "Excuse me, sir..." might have invited a left hook and a head stomp.

Aren't there Air Marshall's on flights?

Air Marshalls are a small amount sent undetectable. So no. The flight attendants were left without resources and expected die on the spot by stupid, angry passengers.

The captain should have diverted the flight the second the man became too crazy for an FA to handle. Suppose he started stomping people? Just any airport with a runway long enough and then get him the fuck off the plane. Passengers shouldn't have to form a posse to deal with this shit.

Unfortunately what R2 says is true. How did he manage to get on the plane in that state. He should have been picked up well before getting on the plane.

I watch YouTube where passengers are so irate when denied boarding or kicked off when unruly or impaired. They are all going to sue the airline because they paid for the seat and will miss the funeral. I am just fine with the Flight Attendants acting like Catholic School Nuns with everyone quiet and hands to themselves.

Passengers are just lucky that he was kicking the seat, instead of kicking THEM!
