Threads (X/Twitter Clone) isn’t much of an improvement on the original

Threads - Zuckerberg/Meta’s X/Twitter clone - who has been on it and what was your impression?

I find it notably more intolerable than even Reddit. At least Reddit can host such hyper-specific discussions that it provides a useful forum that’s tough to duplicate.

My impression of Threads nearly a week in? Full of nelly prisspots and insufferable cunts who sound like chronically miserable people. A lot of us may have voted for the same presidential ticket, but that in no way means I would ever want anything to do with a lot of these freaks.

I haven’t tried Bluesky yet. I deactivated my X/Twitter account months ago.

Mainstream social media reminds me of the reason I find the quirks of Datalounge so endearing.

Bluesky seems to have become the viable alternative to X, not Threads so much
