Mattel's "Wicked" movie doll packaging advertises a porno site on box
Heads will soon roll in the copy department at Mattell...
The toy company has released a series of dolls based on the characters in the new movie musical 'Wicked' , and their new packaging for the dolls advertises a website that brings the 'kiddos' to tan adult porn site, and not the official movie site. Looks like someone in the copy department didn't do their research...or did they because they hate the company ?
Watch the lawsuits come flying into their legal department as parents will say their little 'Emma' and little ' Liam' was scarred forever when they went to the website the packaging told them to go to for the movie.

The children ! What about the children ! Did anyone think of the children ?
Seriously, R1 , you can't make this shit up if you tried. In today's day and age no one checked, double checked, and triple checked the work before sending it off the printers ? No one thought about the irreparable damage it will do to the children ?

My theory, r2, is that texting and that we've conditioned ourselves to short bursts of internet sensationalism, killed proofreading or, in marketing is the term copyediting?
Anyway, I see more and more basic misspellings and sentence structure flaws even in the august NY Times and the WaPo.
Not to mention in my own writing.
Proofreading is dead.

They don't have copy departments anymore. They have designers and maybe, if you're lucky, a contract writer. Mattel likely got what they paid for.

Who was their proofreader? John Travolta?

Was Bryan Singer the director?

It was printed that way in anticipation of the inevitable "Wicked" porn parody.

Mark my words - some law firm is already putting together a class action lawsuit against Mattel, in defense of 'the children'. Save your receipts if you bought the doll. I'm sure the law firm will sue for millions (sue Mattel and big sellers such as Target, WalMart and Amazon) and you may get $5 fir your troubles.

At this point in time, children are irreparably damaged by the age of 3.

R14 But what about the real children who bought these dolls ? I'm talking age 18 - 28. The ones who can't 'adult', don't have sexual relations, and need their dolls and a friendly website. These children can't handle a porn site !

I always preferred the sequel, Backdoor Green Slut does ass-to-ass with her Sparkly Fairy friend.

Someone at Mattel pissed off their PA or EA. This is what happens when you fuck around. You find out.

Is that right. Hmmm. Get Hasbro on the line. Pocket pussies coming.
