Lumpy now so senile he basically admitted that he is planning with Mike Johnson to try to overthrow the election
This would largely be impossible, not just because of the public outcry but given the newly expanded executive powers (thanks Lumpy! You were good for something) Biden could have Johnson thrown in Guantanamo Bay.
So I think the people around Trump are more or less very aware that they have no chance of winning the election and just want to humor Trump until November and then when he loses, will re-enact the last scene of Streetcar Named Desire.

I hope Biden channels all the rage he feels toward Nancy Pelosi and directs it at Trump and the Republicans in his last days in office.

Trump cannot stop lying, it's impossible. He says he lost the 2020 election by 22,000 votes. Wrong, popular vote by 8 million.

It’s distressing that we are having to dig this deep for good news. I don’t know what to think or believe.

Except you are also a dishonest r4. We don’t decide elections by popular vote. Trump lost the election by around 40,000 votes over three states. If half those were flipped- the exact amount is 21,461 - Trump would have won the election, because he would have been awarded all the electoral votes for that state.
How does it feel knowing you are even more dishonest than Trump? He was actually telling the truth here!

Johnson doesn’t have the power described, Kamala Harris, as VP, oversees the process. And if Dems flip the house, Johnson won’t even be Speaker. Lastly, the Election Reform Act(?) renders January 6 largely administrative, with greater controls over “throwing it to the House”.
I’d like to see Trump try something. Anything. Biden might be in the mood to go all unchecked executive power on him for being a clear threat to democracy.

Frankly, I believe if Trump loses Johnson will wake up on 1/6 and say "I don't know him". Johnson is a massive pussy and he's not going to try anything that will put him in legal jeopardy. He'll tell fat boy to hang it up, it's over.

Despise them both, hoping to see a glorious and public downfall for Mikey and Donnie.

How likely is it for Mike Johnson to not certify the election? Can he do that?

Isn't the new Congress sworn in on Jan 3? There's a chance Johnson won't be Speaker anymore by the 6th.

Didn't Congress pass a law after 1/6 that made even the VP's certification completely ceremonial?

Oh he can try, but I'm more than sure there are very powerful people who will impress upon him the danger of so doing.
God how I'd love to see that little four eyed pussy get slapped around.
