The overturning of Roe, the insurrection on Jan 6, the Senate’s failure to remove Trump from holding future office via conviction, and the invention by Republican Justices of near total legal immunity for the President are the Dred Scott, Harper’s Ferry, and Kansas-Nebraska Act of our times. And the election of 2024 is quite possibly our 1860.

If Trump wins and carries out his agenda: Mass Deportations, tariffs, persecution of his political enemies, or if he loses and leads another January 6, will the United States endure as one nation, or split apart, peacefully or otherwise?
