Homeaglow house cleaning for $19.00???

How in the hell can they do this? I feel SO sorry for those cleaners, you know they are going to the NASTIEST places & making no $$.......

I suspect there will be a lot of hidden extras when all is said and done. Either that, or it's a way to case the joint. But you're right -- it's the actual cleaners who are like getting paid minimum wage from which they need to bring their own cleaning supplies.

[quote]getting paid minimum wage

Probably not even that, R1. The employer probably pays them the wage you pay when customers are expected to tip.

It's one time only. If you sign up you pay full price.

I was about to start a thread about these ads but I’ll just contribute to this one.

I can’t be the only one who finds them a complete turn off.

“When we found out that HomeAglow would clean our house for only $19, we FIRED our housekeeper…”

What a fucking CUNT!

by Anonymousreply 4May 15, 2025 1:40 AM

I believe this one’s yet another in the long line of subscription scams. The $19 being the monthly fee, larded up with a bunch of upcharges. Avoid.

by Anonymousreply 5May 15, 2025 1:44 AM

I saw a comment from someone complaining about this when they had it done, while they are cleaning a salesperson is there pressuring you to sign a yearly contract and not for $19.

by Anonymousreply 6May 15, 2025 2:02 AM

Do they use colored help from the voodoo islands?!

by Anonymousreply 7May 15, 2025 2:16 AM

The $19 is a promotional price, subsidized by investors. You will get your house cleaned, and you will also get lots of aggressive salesmanship before during and after your first cleaning. Hope you enjoy sales pitches!

The $19 HomeAGlow offer is this decade's version of the 1 cent Columbia House cassette tape offers of the past. The offer seems fantastic; there is always a catch.

by Anonymousreply 9May 15, 2025 2:43 AM

Is there a HomoAglow? I could use it ,

by Anonymousreply 10May 15, 2025 3:03 AM

Doesn't it have a human trafficy vibe though? Or maybe even a cult? The whole shtick is off.

Please be a cult, please be a cult..

by Anonymousreply 11May 15, 2025 4:00 AM

Lots of hidden charges and they have horrible reviews.

by Anonymousreply 12May 15, 2025 8:17 AM

This seems like Spirit Airlines $19 fare. There’s probably an extra fee for EVERYTHING.

by Anonymousreply 13May 15, 2025 8:42 AM

The Bradya may have fired me for now but trust me I'll be back. Because not only do I clean I cook as well!

by Anonymousreply 14May 15, 2025 9:00 AM

When I found out Home Aglow could clean my house for 19.99 I deported my house cleaner!
