I'm fluent both speaking and writing and also have a teaching background including ESL and undergraduate psychology, so I think I could be employable and contribute.

But, at 60, would I want to dislocate my life and finances on a risk? I've only met my family there on three occasions, each a decade apart. If I were 30, I'd be a lot less fearless and probably go for it. It's a lot harder to make establish a community and friendships as one ages.
