"He's like LITERALLY dead."
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 21, 2024 12:29 AM |
The girlfriend never should have left him alone in Buenos Aires. What the hell was she thinking. If it is true that people were working out the timing for an intervention, she would have known about that. It's incredibly maddening that she left him there alone. I'm sure she feels sick about it, and, well, she should.

An intervention wouldn't have worked, he walked out of The Priory after 2 days just a few months ago. I think that was the final straw for his label, who saw they were not going to recoup on their investment.
Nothing prevented him from leaving with her except he was on a bender. He'd already been kicked out of another hotel.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 21, 2024 12:46 AM |
Dove soap box was how hotel staff supplied Payne with drugs. Now 2 people are being investigated.

by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 21, 2024 1:20 AM |
Wonder if the email that set him off was re: his visa being rejected? So he couldn't return to Florida?
To claim he was clean leading up to his death seems a stretch. Any tests would have been +.
Going to Argentina to get his visa renewed seems like a really odd and poor choice if it left him stuck there.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 21, 2024 1:23 AM |
It wasn’t his girlfriend’s job to babysit him.

by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 21, 2024 1:25 AM |
Sounds like visa process took longer than expected but was going through, but he died shortly before he was to collect it at the embassy so he could return to Florida.
He had to have medical tests and see a psychiatrist before the visa would be renewed. Surprisingly, he was clean.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 21, 2024 1:30 AM |
That seems at odds with friends being so concerned "recently" that they were going to stage an intervention.
Was he able to somehow fake the clean tests for visa? Because otherwise the timelines don't match.
I predict the tox results will be shocking.
Body may still be in Argentina for up to 2 weeks while autopsy and tox tests are finalized. .

by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 21, 2024 1:50 AM |
He could always have gone back to the UK to renew visa but did not seem to want to do so.
I could see Kate being annoyed at the delays, want to leave, etc. but she seems like a flake. Will be hard to live with her choice.
There are other reports of a loud fight and him begging her not to leave. Given how needy he seemed with strangers in the lobby, seems possible.

Always blaming the woman. If you read his ex's book you'd know that Liam Payne goes into violent rages when he's on drugs. He chased his ex with an axe, smashing up the house as he went. His current girlfriend would probably have been harmed if she'd stayed.

As already explained on the other thread, Roger Nores is a rich Argentinan businessman. Forbes describe him as 'an energy tycoon'. This info is in all the articles. He'd been friends with Liam since they met when Liam was in Buenos Aires for Louis Tomlinson's concert in May. Liam posted a photo tagged with his name in June.

r2 is desperate to blame a woman - any woman - for the actions of a man. Funny how there's no criticism there for his male friends who left him alone. Nope, it's only women who should be taking responsibility for the actions of a straight man's actions.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 21, 2024 10:51 AM |
Not responsibility, R35. Just concern. An abundance of concern. Living with someone is different than just dating someone. Leaving someone you live with and traveled there with, alone in another country, to return alone to the home you share with them, is wayyyy different than some fairly new local Argentinian friend leaving the hotel at 3:30pm to go back to his local home. I'm just saying, male or female, if they came on the trip together and there was a sense that Liam was spiraling emotionally, one may have thought twice. Or not. Because hey, you're right. It is no one's job as an adult to babysit another adult, or to protect someone from themselves.
But in the absence of context, which we now have, it seemed strange that she would leave him alone to languish in BA.
Anyway, now that we know about the visa situation and the rescue dog that had been languishing in a kennel, it is all moot. It makes more sense why the trip was dragging out so long, why she wanted to get home and get their dog, why he was forced to stay.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 21, 2024 1:01 PM |
The context was always there. You just didn't even try to seek it out before deciding a woman had to be blamed.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 21, 2024 3:09 PM |
R36 you've never had to deal with a drug addict, alcoholic, or mentally ill partner or close friend. Sometimes you have to walk out on them.

Was Payne going broke or did he have 40 million. It's not clear.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 21, 2024 3:28 PM |
Bullshit, R37. Context of the visa and the rescue dog is "breaking news." He could have been gay and my first thought as a recovering codependent would have still been, "Why did they leave him alone in Buenos Aires?" Says more about my fucked up relationship tendencies than about your perceived misogyny. I do realize now that it is no one's job to "save" another person. My codependent instinct was "stay and babysit" but of course that is not healthy, and I appreciate the reality check for that. Otherwise, fuck of with the "blame the woman" bs because again, if he were gay I'd have had the same first thought.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 21, 2024 3:45 PM |
r40 We can all see your post history - from the previous thread:
[quote]This Maya girl who he was supposedly harassing and stalking is 23 and as such, thinks if you don't share it with the world, it didn't happen. No one needed to know any of this publicly. The man was very sick in his addiction and just needed help. So if she is drowning in hate mail currently, she brought it on herself.
You've gone out of your way to try and put blame on two different women now, and not once blaming Payne himself for his own choices. But keep claiming not to have a problem with women.
Hardly a surprise to also see you're one of the morons who thought he was gay and there was a sex tape of him with another guy.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 21, 2024 3:53 PM |
And I also stand by that, in the sense that whether it is a woman or a man, putting your dirty business on the internet invites all of the horrible responses that will come. My comment is not a man/woman thing. It's a Gen Z living and breathing social media thing.
Again, if it was a male lover and he, too, was posting all of his private stuff online, I would be having the same response. Because I am a 51 year old adult who thinks that living live on social media is an affliction. And if you don't want the backlash, stay private and don't invite the entire globe into your issues.
It's too bad that Liam had more money than sense, and it's awful that he was abusive to his ex. She really needed to alert the authorities rather than write a semi-fictional book, make TikToks and monetize her struggles for five seconds of fame. I will never not find it utterly abhorrent that she chose that path over dealing with things privately.
This is NOT about misogyny. I know how I feel about women, and I am now doing the very thing that I caution against, which is engaging with ignorant strangers online. I appreciate you being the gatekeeper and watchdog for Datalounge, on behalf of all women, but you've got the wrong guy. My only crime is just being too old to either understand or appreciate any of the choices that any of these kiddos have made in their lives.

r42 You might want to reflect on the fact that you decided to spend more time criticising a woman for detailing her abuse, whilst the closest you came to criticising the man who was responsible for the abuse is saying it (not he) was "awful". Similar to how you criticised his girlfriend for not remaining with him, but zero criticism from you for his behaviour, addictions and failure to treat either.

Liam Payne’s toxicology test results showed that the former One Direction singer had a cocktail of drugs in his system at the time of his tragic death, according to a new report.
A partial autopsy found that Payne had substances including cocaine, crack and benzodiazepine, which is a type of depressant, in his body when he fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Oct. 16, sources told ABC News Monday.
The test also found “pink cocaine,” a recreational drug that typically mixes methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA and others, per the outlet.

I listened to his LP1 album over the weekend, out of curiosity. It wasn't bad, I didn't think. Not really my kind of pop music but I don't think it was any worse than a lot of pop music that seems to do well, especially with younger people.
Did it sell so poorly that the record company gave up on a second album? Or was it his unreliable behavior that contributed to the decision to drop him? I am interested in that aspect of the story.
Apart from Harry Styles and his success since the 1D days, I don't think the other members have sold very well, either. I can't imagine Niall Horan is doing more than scraping by these days, since under normal circumstances I rarely hear his name mentioned in the press.

Louis' last album Faith in the Future debuted with 43k. Stayed on BB 200 for two weeks.
Zayn's last album Room Under the Stairs debuted with 30k. Stayed on the BB200 for a week.
Harry's House debuted with 521k. Stayed on the BB200 for over a year.

R48. Drop it. I come on here to casually chat about popular culture, I don't come on here to bare my soul to strangers and dig deep about this shit. If I knew any of these people personally I am sure I would be more thorough and thoughtful in my assessments and my wording. But I will maintain until my last breath that his ex, Maya, should have gone to the authorities rather than to TikTok to manage her business. Assault and harassment, being chased with an axe, it's very serious -- and yet she drained the severity of it all by writing a semi-fictionalized book about it and going on TikTok to bitch about him blowing up her phone. She chose to write the book and monetize her trauma, while preening for the camera in her Lulu Lemon. None of the women in my life who have experienced trauma would have dreamt of dealing with their abuser or their trauma by making TikToks and penning a thinly-veiled "fictional" book. If her boyfriend hadn't been famous I am sure she would not have aired things out so publicly. She did so, because he was famous and she was piggybacking off of that fame to put herself in the public eye. So yes, I struggle to accept that this young woman was truly "traumatized." If she is truly traumatized, I need the phone number of her therapist because she seems like she's doing amazing.
I have also already apologized for initially assigning the role of babysitter to the current girlfriend. I told you, that was me slipping into a codependent headspace and I quickly realized that was not the right call.
Obviously Liam Payne was a danger to himself and potentially others (though no other women have ever come forward suggesting abuse). However, in spite of his obvious mental illness, aggression and addiction issues, I can't feel much besides compassion for the guy, considering the photo I saw of him yesterday, splayed out lifeless on a hotel patio in Argentina. If she were not a 20-something famewhore she might have understood the gravity of his situation and kept things private between her, him, her family, his family, and the authorities. It's pretty clear now that he was in a death spiral and she chose to grab her fifteen minutes off the back of someone in a death spiral.
You really just need to let this go now.

I'm too old for 1D and was only fleetingly aware of the whole Larry thing. I've just been reading up on it - Jesus Christ. Some of the fans were actually claiming that Louis's son was a doll, because they couldn't cope with the idea that he'd got a woman pregnant. Apparently the conspiracy actually fucked up Harry & Louis's friendship, because the knowledge that their every interaction was being analysed made them uncomfortable around each other. What is wrong with some people?

R61 Adolescent girls have always been nuts over boy bands. But throw the internet into the mix and you have exponential insanity nowadays. They have had cases in which adolescent girls obsessed over some fictitious nonsense like "Slenderman" to the point that they couldn't tell reality from fantasy and stabbed their friend half to death thinking it would appease someone totally imaginary. Imagining wild things about boy band members isn't surprising to me at all.

ID fans are lightweights. For hardcore stanning, see the "Briize" fandom- fans of Kpop idol band Riize. Riize debuted as a seven member outfit. One, Seunghan, caused uproar in Korea when photos of his pre-debut antics leaked. These were: smoking on the street in Japan ( unlawful, as he was underage), putting a restaurant napkin on his head in a selfie (looked like a was mocking the Japanese people) and kissing a girl in a love motel. So he got put on hiatus. A few weeks ago it was announced he was returning. Conservative Korean fans went nuclear on his and the management's asses, bought a ton of Korean funeral wreaths and delivered them to the company. Sample comments on the wreaths: "Evil member Seunghan OUT"
It worked, he had to quit. Now BTS fans are delivering funeral wreaths to force member Suga out.

Aaron Carter’s spiral was more due to childhood sexual abuse, and then confusion over sexual identity. He tried to come out do the closet once and then went back in. He also had an eating disorder.

Coke AND crack AND meth AND MDNA AND GHB AND benzos. Holy fuck! Pick one and you’re flying high, but all of them? Bruh.
Back when I dabbled in coke, a coke whore shared the tip to coming down easy- benzos or pot. It works. That’s why he had benzos.

Last I heard of Zayn he was shoving his baby's grandma (Yolanda Hadid). No idea if he sees the kid. Or if the mom does either, since she is always running after Bradley Cooper in NYC. Probably Yolanda has the kid.

The photo shows a lot of congealed blood coming from the back of his head and soaking into the boards of the decking. Also coming out of his ear.
The 'purse' is something the medics put under his neck to stabilise him while they attempted resuscitation.

by Anonymous | reply 106 | October 23, 2024 1:19 PM |
I (unfortunately) saw two photos of him after the fall on X yesterday. As R105 said, the pictures aren't really that gory apart from the blood, otherwise it just looks like he is lying there. It did, however, make me feel sad that someone attractive and young came to such an unfortunate end. Courtney Love and Keith Richards walk among us still, embalmed for the ages, while one foolish afternoon snuffs someone else out in a moment, I guess. It's easy to say he was a druggie on a bad path and be dismissive about it, but that's true of many people, and I can't help but feel pity seeing him lying there, photographed in that pathetic state, his most vulnerable and final moment exploited.

Yes. It's insane that hardened junkies like Pete Doherty of the Libertines - who has talked about a 20 year addiction to heroin and crack cocaine - lived long enough to get sober in his 40s, although he still drinks a lot.
I thought that because Zayn and Liam had survived their 20s they'd be okay until their 40s as well.

All of them screaming major addict with no support system. If he had some frauy wife at home he would have been on and off the wagon for decades but coke and whores and hangers on and young girlfriends and a kid an ocean away and bad behavior catching up (as it does in this social media era) made the guy a timebomb.

Wanted to sleep in her own bed? That bed is moving to a studio apt.
Hope waitressing pays to feed the rescue dog.

His kid is set financially. Kate's may long rue her choice not to stay for just a few more days. The visa was about to come through so he could leave.
Mansion back to waitress. She told a friend she worried he'd go on a bender if she left. Now, bye, bye mansion in West Palm. Back to "can I take your order?"
Ultimately, Liam was responsible for his choices but wow, she hit the lottery waiting on his table, then fucked it all up over a few more days in a luxury hotel in Argentina. We'll see if she tries to glom onto another rich junkie for the lifestyle. Sad all around.

I'd rather defend the waitress than the multimillionaire crack addict. Kate has a college degree so wouldn't have stayed waitressing for long anyway. She was 22 when they met and had just graduated. Photos of her graduation are still up on her Instagram. Liam left school at 16 so she had more brains than him.

[quote] is desperate to blame a woman - any woman - for the actions of a man. Funny how there's no criticism there for his male friends who left him alone. Nope, it's only women who should be taking responsibility for the actions of a straight man's actions.
My god, if being a victim was an occupation, then R35, R41, R48 would be a billionaire by now. God forbid somebody not kiss a woman's ass or not overlook her actions then it's called "blaming." Ultimately, Payne was responsible for his own actions, but it doesn't make the girlfriend any less of a leech like everyone else around him. I also doubt he was doing all those drugs by himself, and although technically she wasn't obligated to save him, she certainly doesn't get any points for being an enabler. That's exactly what someone who sits up in a hotel room watching someone self-destruct is, a fucking enabler. A spade is a spade. Gender ultimately means nothing. Get over yourself.

The obsession with the girlfriend is odd. A 31-year-old man did a boatload of drugs and then fell off a balcony. It's primarily his own fault, although I do think there's a degree of mitigation in that becoming world-famous at the age of sixteen would have a long-term impact on most people's mental health, and that the entertainment industry is brutal for teenagers. But really, his girlfriend isn't responsible for this.

[quote] The obsession with the girlfriend is odd.
Oh, for Pete's sake, there is no obsession with this celebrity hanger-on, nor is anyone trying to hold her responsible for this senseless death, but the obsession with coddling this chick is really odd. Why are some people in love with the idea of treating grown women like children? This is not a kid we're talking about. This a grown adult who chose to get involved with a drug addict because she was blinded by his money and the fact that he was in a mediocre boy band a few years ago. She was his "girlfriend" for quite a while, but anyone who was around Liam for longer than two minutes could tell he was an addict. Every eyewitness at the hotel acknowledged it, so there's no way this person didn’t know, encourage, and / or look the other way because she wanted to be adjacent to a D List celebrity. Pointing out her shady motivation for being around Liam isn’t "blaming the woman," like you shills, keep insisting. She's not ultimately responsible, but she clearly didn't help the situation either.

And, once again, it's so telling that people like you want to harshly criticise the women, yet barely any criticism of the man who was a drug addict and abusive. If the criticism were at least equal it might not be so egregious. But instead it's post after overwritten post about how despicable the women are, and barely a sentence about how pathetic Payne himself was.

R149 It must be some kind of mental condition to see words that aren't there. I never said Payne was a victim. In fact, I said that more than once. I said she wasn't ultimately responsible for his death more than once, and I never used the word despicable. I do think, however, YOU and your loser mentality are particularly despicable. You see "A" and immediately jump to "Z." You see woman and automatically think "victim" which ironically is a form of misogyny that you're not even aware of as you try to act as this person's online defense lawyer. The chick was a leech and a mooch and Liam was obviously a needy addict with low self-esteem and a poor judge of character. It doesn't mean her or Liam were victims of anything except their own poor choices. The obvious difference here is that he died from his poor choices, and she did not. She's not responsible for that, nor is she a representation of all women.
[quote] Except you have no knowledge at all of what actually attracted her to him.

Let’s split the difference here. They both seem like they’re not the brightest sparks. They both had a bunch of surgery. They both gravitated to the trashiest looks - duck lips, bad tattoos. Take out the drug addiction and they were probably equally yoked so expecting that this girl should have been able to prevent this is ludicrous. And so is thinking that he was taken advantage of - as if a smart woman with her own money would touch a guy with his problems.

Here's a translation and transcript of the two phone calls made to emergency services from the hotel receptionist.
Call handler: 911 where’s your emergency?
Caller: Hello.
911 what’s your emergency?
Hello, good afternoon, look I’m calling you from the hotel CasaSur Palermo, which is located on Costa Rica Street 6032.
6032? Is that between Cramer [St] and…
Yes, that’s correct it’s between Arévalo [St] and Dorrego [St]. So, we have a guest who is high on drugs and who is trashing the room. Erm, so we need someone to come.
Understood, so you’re telling me [he] is being aggressive? Sir, can you please repeat the name of the hotel? Sir?
The line cuts out and a second call is made
Call handler: 911 where’s your emergency?
Caller: Hello, good day, I just called but got cut off. I’m calling from the hotel CasaSur Palermo, Costa Rica [Street] 6032.
What’s happening at that location, sir?
Well, we’ve got a guest who has had too many drugs and alcohol and, well, when he is conscious he is trashing the entire room and we need you to send someone, please.
He is under the effect of alcohol and drugs, is he, sir?
Yes, correct.
You said Costa Rica St at which location?
Costa Rica 6032.
That’s between Arévalo and Cramer?
Yes.
You said it’s a hotel? What’s it called?
CasaSur Palermo, and we need you to send someone urgently because, well, I don’t know whether his life may be in danger, the guest’s life. He is in a room with a balcony and well, we’re a little afraid that he…
Since when has he been there or is this a long-stay hotel?
He’s been here for two or three days.
Understood, you wouldn’t know any other details because you can’t get in, right?
No.
We’ll notify the SAME (medical emergency) staff as well, yes?
Yes, what I’m asking is for someone to come urgently because, well…
We’ve notified SAME. Any other details you can provide. Who are you, are you in charge?
I am the chief receptionist.
In charge at the location?
Yes, yes.
We’ve now reported this. What’s your name, sir?
Esteban.
We’ve reported it.
Ok.
Thanks for calling, you can free up the line now.
Are you sending the police as well or not?
The police and the local - wait give me a second - the local authorities and the SAME.
No, no, just the SAME. Just the SAME.
Understood, don’t worry, we’ve reported it.
Yes, perfect, many thanks.
You told me that [the guest] is under the influence of drugs and alcohol and the SAME doesn’t go in alone.
The SAME doesn’t go in alone? Ok, ok.
No, it’s [been] reported [to the police] regardless. If the police arrives you explain [what’s going on] and if they need the SAME, they call them.
Good, ok. Perfect.
We’ve made the report, have a good day, sir.
Good, thanks, same to you.

I still want to know more about "Roger" who was sometimes referred to as his "manager" and who got him back up to his room and then ??? Where did he go and what was his role re: the drugs? Enough with the bickering over duck lips, Roger was present on the scene. He was purportedly negotiating deals re: Snapchat re: one source. If he was telling strangers in the lobby @ LP's drug use why wasn't he managing the situation? Payne only had to stay sober for 48 hours or less, get his visa and head to FL. Instead things got so crazy that he jumped to his death. Had anyone around him even abandoned self interest in continuing to be a hanger on? Payne had at least $55M, lots of spillover drugs and goodies for his "entourage" as long as he was alive.

This one isn't for you. This is not your scene, and we are not your people.
How LITERALLY dare you coming on here and being such a finger-wagging, judgmental little hall monitor.

To point out the fact that Kate had a good financial deal as a hanger on to a rich junkie, that she may have preserved with just a few more days in a luxury hotel in a beautiful city, now gone, is just reality.
That he had to stay clean for just 2 more days to get the visa and fly out and instead went on a bender and off a balcony is just pathetic and telling. Bought a house closer to his kid in UK but instead went out this way.
Hopefully Z will do better by his kid. If he can't actually do the tour he's the most likely to be dropped imho.

Zayn posted the rescheduled US dates. They're in January and his UK dates start November 20th. Pretty sure he'll go ahead. I don't think he had seen Liam in the flesh for years. His tribute post seemed guilty and nostalgic in contrast to Louis' post. Louis was still seeing Liam and had already supported him through more than one round of breakdown and rehab, so he was genuinely distraught.

[QUOTE] saw it reported he arranged some deal with Snapchat.
Liam signed with top LA talent agency CAA last July. CAA also represents Harry and Niall. This agency secured him a job as a judge on a new Netflix show called Building the Band. He filmed his part back in August.
So, if anyone negotiated a Snapchat deal for him, it was CAA not an Argentinan with no connections to western media.
Alternatively, there was no deal and Liam was simply monetizing his Snapchat, where he had 1.3m followers. Snapchat pays well per view compared to other platforms.

He hooked up with waitress who is a plastic barbie fan girl with zero brain or ability to challenge him,he moved to Miami now and hasn't seen his son for weeks because flying to concert in Argentina to have pictures taken with fans whi came to see Nialls concerts gives him the validity he constantly seeks . Police investigating whether hotel employee provided Liam Payne with drugs before his death: sources
Here's what security footage allegedly reveals about the moments leading up to Liam Payne's death.
by Anonymous | reply 202 | November 2, 2024 4:38 PM |
From above link.
a partial autopsy also found that he had multiple substances in his system that day, including "pink cocaine" - a recreational drug that typically is a mix of several drugs including methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA and others - as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack. An improvised aluminum pipe to ingest drugs was also found in his hotel room, according to the sources.
According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation, police also identified the presence of two female escorts at the hotel in the hours before Payne's death.
Payne offered $5,000 USD to two female escorts who were allegedly called by the lobby of the hotel Payne was staying at during his death, via an app. He did not pay the escorts, sources said.
Sources also noted that a Rolex was also found missing from Payne's hotel room.

For the weirdo who keeps saying Roger Nores was Liam's Argentinian drug dealer - this article reveals that Roger and Liam had been friends for four years and Roger was actively trying to keep Liam away from drugs.
From article at link:
One source who knows Nores said, “They were opposites, Roger had never tried a drug in his life, he never drinks, he’s not a party guy, he’s intellectual and Liam was the opposite, but they loved talking to each other. Liam was the kind of guy who would ask 20 people for advice — and Roger was one of them.”
In a note seen by Page Six, Nores emailed Payne’s father, Geoff, and his management team in August and made his worries crystal clear as the singer had only been clean for four months.
He wrote, “Liam stayed at my friend’s ranch down in Palm Beach and since the first day he arrived he was monitored and treated by professional doctors who specialize in addictions. He stayed fully clean without access to any hard drug (sic) during his whole stay."
by Anonymous | reply 204 | November 2, 2024 5:51 PM |
That hotel staff supplied him the drugs is old news.
The reason that picture with the drug paraphernalia also has a soap box is that the drugs were being given to him in the soap box that hotel staff brought to him.

by Anonymous | reply 210 | November 8, 2024 1:17 AM |
Roger Nores has denied that he has been arrested in a statement to the press. The Gay & Bearding Troll at R210 is a QAnon member and thinks Roger murdered Liam.
Liam Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores issued a statement denying his connection to the former One Direction member’s fatal fall from a third-story balcony at CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires on Oct. 16.
“I never abandoned Liam. I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores — an Argentinian businessman who befriended Payne in 2020 — told the Daily Mail on Thursday.
“There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left.”
Nores — who “could have never imagined something like this would happen” — pointed out that he gave his “statement to the prosecutor on Oct. 17 as a witness.”
He insisted he hasn’t “spoken to any police officer or prosecutor ever since.”
Nores, 35, went on to note that he “wasn’t Liam’s manager,” calling the late singer his “very dear friend” whom he’s “been missing … every day.”
by Anonymous | reply 211 | November 8, 2024 9:59 AM |
He talked about having ADHD recently. Exact words here. He has never mentioned mania or bipolar. If he had you would be able to link
ADHD diagnosis
Liam was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as an adult.
“When I was aware that I had really bad ADHD and I found the problem to be that whenever I was in the studio with Louis [Tomlinson] I would do the melodies and Louis would do the lyrics with Jamie [Scott],” he told TVN.
“I would zone out whenever there were words on a page. I did a few here or there, but there were things that I would just say off-the-cuff in the melody. Whereas, this time, I couldn’t write them for myself because every time I would I would zone out, so I found out I have ADHD."
Having said that, a lot of dumbasses claim to have ADHD. Sounds more like dyslexia to me.

Interesting, R238. Maybe just attention seeking.
We will learn more as the legal cases progress.
For now it appears that Roger may have talked out of both sides of his mouth frequently. Recent pr offensives seem to be countered by video on social media and LE have far more. If some powerful narco group is involved, may all be swept under the rug or maybe Roger will be made fall guy. LP dead either way.
Tox results were far less dramatic than initial stories suggested, or that might lead to no defensive reflex when falling in lobby or off balcony. Contradictions abound.

The problem was Liam's corrosive jealousy of Harry Styles. He desperately wanted to be taken seriously in the music industry like Harry now is after his Grammy for Album of the Year and two Hot 100 number ones.
But Harry's career has been expertly managed by Irving Azoff and his son. Liam foolishly chose a sports manager, dazzled by the fact that the guy also managed David Beckham. He sent Liam out to dozens of irrelevant red carpet events and he became over exposed. His drug use led to ill-judged, disinhibited comments that made him a figure of fun.

I think she will miss the $, attention and possibly the drugs. Undoubtedly she rues rushing “home” to a place she now no longer lives. Had she stayed for another 2 days, could have kept the rental, fillers and blow. Act in haste, repent at leisure, as they say. Having to pack and move when your boyfriend’s funeral is coming up must blow, pun intended.
I’ve seen nothing that suggests Kate was afraid of Liam. She did not leave him or the “good life” when Maya’s accusations became public.
Authorities claim he fainted, do keep up.

A lot of people who say they have adhd are just plain stupid. Liam was illiterate and had poor executive function. His girlfriends did everything for him in terms of organising his life.
Kate has a college degree so she was streets ahead of Liam academically. Time for her to use her degree instead of being a sugar baby.

The man was a sex addict. His girlfriend flew back to Miami on 12th October and by the 14th he was hooking up with Braian. Then, on the afternoon of the 16th, he had sex with two female escorts before blacking out whilst leaning on his balcony and falling to his death around 5pm.

They are all over 30 years old now, they have their own lives.
I wouldn't rule out being in the same room again - life is long, there are many reasons to be friendly, there are always weddings, parties, and funerals to attend. They all work in the same branch of the entertainment business and all know many of the same people and friends. I don't know about working together again (the remaining four), but I don't believe there's a ton of animosity there either.

She likely regrets her choice to leave.
But, with his bender, unlikely he would get the visa and be able to return to FL.
I wonder if Roger or someone else from the team had paid and directed the hotel to keep it all out of press so he could get the visa and leave in 2 days? Supposedly he had already been kicked out of another hotel for similar behavior.
Seeing him so out of it, I wonder about the tox results of minimal drugs in his system? Were those findings compromised?

Z has talked about anxiety around performing. Him getting out on his first tour is a big deal. We will see how it goes over time.
Back to Liam being carted through lobby, if tox screen was not altered, why was he unconscious? Did he ingest something a standard tox screen would not pick up?
Hard to fit the contradictory pieces together and altered time stamps do not inspire trust. Nor does lie that CCTV was not working. How was he able to walk and climb over a high balcony railing just moments later?
by Anonymous | reply 320 | November 24, 2024 3:21 PM |
There is a photo of Liam’s father standing on the balcony and the railing is fairly high. Hard to make sense of being carried like a sack of potatoes, then minutes later having put on cap and bag, being able to walk, climbing over railing, then passing out again and falling with no protective reflexes.
Since hotel lied about cctv being out, wonder what the video of the fall and any additional video of trip back to his room, including elevator, shows.
by Anonymous | reply 321 | November 24, 2024 4:51 PM |
Oh yeah, it's totally anxiety Zayn has, and not a crippling drug addiction
And what the fuck are you going on about the tox screen finding nothing?
by Anonymous | reply 322 | November 24, 2024 5:20 PM |
These findings would not render someone unconscious.
So what did?
Or is the report, like at least 1 video timestamp, incorrect? We may never know.
[quote] a toxicology report confirms that the One Direction singer had traces of alcohol, cocaine and a prescription antidepressant in his body in the moments before he fell from a three-story hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
According to a statement issued by the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office, Payne’s body underwent complete toxicology reports on his urine, blood and vitreous humour. His family had already been informed of the findings before the findings were made public. Initial reports suggested that pink cocaine, a mixture of ketamine and other illicit drugs, was found in his system, though there is no mention of it in the statement.

Alcohol and sertaline plus cocaine plus an eating disorder is enough to cause fainting. Liam was always trying to keep his weight down and rarely ate, although when he did he often binged and his weight ballooned. In lockdown he went up to 200lbs from 160lbs.

New article in the Argentinian paper Infobae. Translated from the Spanish.
[Liam's father is trying to push all the blane for Liam's death onto his friend Roger Nores, as if Liam was a 6-year-old child who required constant supervision. Junkies are going to use regardless and should it be the job of a friend or even a manager to sit in the same room as them while they do it?]
Article
Liam Payne’s father handed over the key evidence to the Justice system to charge Rogelio Nores for the singer’s death.
The American psychiatrist who treated the former One Direction member warned Rogelio Nores in an email that mixing the antidepressant Zoloft with alcohol could be fatal.
The victim’s family has filed a lawsuit. A key court hearing is set to determine the case’s future.
In his meetings with the Argentine justice system, Geoff Payne, Liam Payne’s father, provided the key piece of evidence to build the case against businessman Rogelio Nores, who has been charged by prosecutor Andrés Madrea with abandonment leading to death, as well as the provision of narcotics.
The evidence is an email dated September 16 of this year, included in the charges filed by prosecutor Madrea, who is tasked with clarifying the circumstances surrounding Payne’s death.
The incident occurred a month later when Payne fell from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. He landed on the cement base of a garden umbrella, fracturing the base of his skull, an injury that ultimately caused his death.
Liam had started drinking whiskey at 6 a.m. that day, according to the reconstruction by investigators based on information retrieved from hotel records. He later drank champagne with prostitutes from the Buenos Aires localities of El Talar and Isidro Casanova, whom he had invited to his room, had sex with, and then caused a minor scene in the lobby for refusing to pay them.
He consumed cocaine throughout the day; the toxicological analysis conducted by the Supreme Court’s Forensic Medical Corps revealed drug metabolites indicating consumption at least two hours before his death. The drug was found in his urine, blood, gastric contents, and nasal cavities.
The toxicological analysis also revealed another substance: sertraline, a powerful antidepressant marketed in the United States under the brand name Zoloft.Sertraline, according to the toxicological report, was present in Liam’s blood and stomach contents at the time of his death.
The consumption of alcohol combined with sertraline is strongly contraindicated; it can lead to hallucinations and even suicidal ideation.
The email provided by Geoff Payne to Prosecutor’s Office No. 34, led by Madrea, was written by the Miami-based neuropsychiatrist who had treated his son throughout the year. In the message, the neuropsychiatrist distanced herself from the treatment, stating that it was impossible to support Liam during his crises. She also warned that mixing sertraline with alcohol could be fatal.
[Note that even the psychiatrist said it was 'impossible to support Liam during his crises' as clearly he just did what he wanted. The only option would be to section him]

The judge has withdrawn from the case and sent it back down to local level. It will be dismissed soon. No murder charges because Liam's father's expectation that Roger (or anyone) watch over Liam 24/7 was completely unrealistic. Liam Payne was 31, not three years old.
