The venerable fashion reality series is on the move again.
‘Project Runway’ Moves From Bravo To Freeform; New Season Set For 2025

So, Bravo, VH1, Bravo and now Freeform??
Find a forever home!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 17, 2024 5:48 PM |
What in the fuck is FREEFORM?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 17, 2024 5:53 PM |
I only know of Freeform because of Jury Duty (which was great!). I am glad they didn't kill the show off altogether - but I wonder how much lower they can still go in terms of sponsorships. "Please use the Shein accessory wall thoughtfully!"
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 17, 2024 5:58 PM |
Yesterday I read on Reddit that they were doing a casting call. Checked Siriano’s and Nina’s Instagram and no announcement. Maybe they aren’t continuing.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 17, 2024 6:01 PM |
No one cares about that show now.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 17, 2024 6:02 PM |
If Elaine Welteroth isn’t involved I might watch.

That is Freevie.
Freeform is a basic cable channel, formerly known as ABC Family.

Are Tim and Heidi still doing that vulgar Amazon knockoff? I tried to watch but quickly became embarrassed for them.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 17, 2024 6:13 PM |
I only know of Freeform because I watched Shadowhunters there, which in turn I only watched because of Alexandra Daddario's brother (which, btw, WHET?).
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 17, 2024 6:16 PM |
It wasn’t on VH1 in first-run.
After Bravo, it went to Lifetime.

And the accessories went from the Neiman Marcus wall to JC Penney wall
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 17, 2024 8:37 PM |
So same showrunners but in a new production company on a new network. One thing PR relied on was bringing favorites back for another go-round. Will they still be able to do it?

This year:
" ... and choose wisely from the Goodwill accessory wall"

I will not watch without Christian. He was the best thing since Michael Kors. In fact perhaps Michael should come back in Heidi's role since his company is trying to to stay solvent.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 17, 2024 10:00 PM |
Yes, while I've not been a fan of a lot of Christian's work, he is a good mentor and unquestionably "made it", so he knows what he's talking about. I can't imagine who they would get to replace him.

R15,Gretchen Jones, the cunt.

Outfit based on a Disney Princess.
Outfit based on a Disney Villian.
Theme Park wear.

I have mounds of respect for Christian. He’s a prodigy. And seems constructive and invested in his designers.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 17, 2024 10:57 PM |
I only watched one season of him, but I thought Siriano was a very good host. Knew his stuff and his advice was always solid, more than a vague, "Oh, just make it work."
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 18, 2024 2:47 AM |
I stopped watching when fraus won every season. It's like the show is homophobic or something. They always include gay contestants, yet always have women end up winning. It's offensive.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 18, 2024 5:46 AM |
New judges and a new host. Episodes will stream on Disney and Hulu one week after airing on Freeform.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 18, 2024 5:52 AM |
It’s a mistake to get rid of Nina but maybe she didn’t want to continue.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 18, 2024 10:35 AM |
Nina and Michael Kors were the best judges. That Elaine chick sucked.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 18, 2024 10:54 AM |
[quote]The show has launched the careers of many in the fashion world, including Christian Siriano, Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello, Bishme Cromartie and many more.
Pretty sparse, considering how long the show has been on the air...and the list does not include Emilio Sosa, who is a two-time Tony nominee.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 18, 2024 12:17 PM |
Elaine was a DEI hire. No judge was better than the gorgeous Georgina Chapman.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 18, 2024 12:19 PM |
It’ll be a Gen Z-fest.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 18, 2024 12:23 PM |
For whatever you think of Christian and his work, he was VERY good at mentoring. He knew when to push, when to pull back, when to listen, and when to "dutch uncle" contestants. All without being an utter bitch.

Heidi's back, baby!
[quote]PEOPLE has learned that Heidi Klum is returning to Project Runway after stepping away from the hit franchise in 2018. Debuting this year, Season 21 will feature 10 episodes aired weekly, but the judges and premiere date have not yet been announced.

[quote] If Elaine Welteroth isn’t involved I might watch.
PLEASE!!! Not WOKE Welteroth. She fucking sucked.
No more Woke on this show.
Just make it about fashion and actual TALENT.
Bring back Heidi and Tim, Michael Kors, and Nina. The original "dream team."
And no more DEI guest judges.
They need actual fashion designers to be guest judges. People who actually know what the fuck they're talking about.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 3, 2025 5:47 PM |
Oh, brother. Liked her in the beginning but she got too full of herself.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 3, 2025 5:52 PM |
I would like the show so much more if it was 50/50 with menswear. Whenever they do a menswear challenge here and there, nobody has any clue what the fuck to do, and every single outfit is horrible.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 3, 2025 5:53 PM |
r30 Gurlfriend, EVERYONE in showbiz (outside of the Sheridan universe) and in the online bubbles is tripling down on DEI now, zero lessons learned after that second beating in November.
It is what it is, complaining about it will just get you cancelled.

Very few actual stars have come out of PR. Siriano. Michael Costello, Rami. I think Austin has a big career in wedding dress design.

Grandma panties as fashion!

Heidi and Tim's awful Making the Cut on Amazon must be permanently cancelled. Heidi was so unlikable on that show, and Tim seemed completely disconnected from it. I think Tim's TV days are over. Siriano is a better mentor and gives more relevant advice to the designers.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 3, 2025 6:46 PM |
[quote] Tim's TV days are over.
Is he still getting drunk, falling down, and having falling down "accidents?"
by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 3, 2025 6:49 PM |
R33, that’s not true anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | January 3, 2025 7:19 PM |
Freeform!!!
Project Runway is now in the outlet store period of its brand, I see.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | January 3, 2025 7:57 PM |
Jeremy Scott was the worst at making the cut. A man dressed like a 12-year-old Ivy Carter judging fashion?
