Starting this thread for those of us who are watching. Share your thoughts here, if you dare.

This is not a 'softball' interview, by any means. Maybe this is how her team wanted this edited ? Make it look like a tough interview ? She's holding her own, but keep dipping into her faux southern accent.

by Anonymousreply 1October 8, 2024 12:17 AM

Trump backed out of his.

by Anonymousreply 2October 8, 2024 12:34 AM

Yes, they keep reminding us in the interview. They're filling up his portion with Trump supporters and election deniers. What a disturbing bunch of assholes.

by Anonymousreply 3October 8, 2024 12:43 AM

I'll have the ranch dressing.

by Anonymousreply 4October 8, 2024 12:51 AM

I wanted to reach through my tv screen and slap that Arizona election denier woman.

by Anonymousreply 5October 8, 2024 2:17 AM

r2, were they going to let Trump use his faux Hitler accent?

by Anonymousreply 6October 8, 2024 2:21 AM

I'll watch her with Stephen Colbert tomorrow night.

by Anonymousreply 7October 8, 2024 2:25 AM

Reminder that Tim Walz is on Kimmel's show tonight.

by Anonymousreply 8October 8, 2024 3:49 AM

I hope that now everybody will shut up about her not doing interviews.

by Anonymousreply 9October 8, 2024 7:05 AM

They will never shut up, the shillzenbots. And their idiot uddies the Bothensiders. She is everywhere and has the stuff.

by Anonymousreply 10October 8, 2024 7:32 AM

The podcast interview with Alex on 'Call her Daddy' went really well. People will learn more about her each interview.

by Anonymousreply 11October 8, 2024 8:26 AM

[quote] I hope that now everybody will shut up about her not doing interviews.

They won’t because nothing she says or does will ever be good enough.

by Anonymousreply 12October 8, 2024 9:39 AM

On FOX's "The Five" yesterday, they criticized her for going on 'friendly' networks and doing 'friendly interviews' where she's not challenged. Then they announced Trump's media schedule where he will be on FOX all week long, scheduled to do interviews with Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity... And they say this with a straight face, not realizing the irony of this.

Speaking of whiich, Melania will stop by 'The Five' on Tuesday October 8, promoting her boooooooooooook. We can all compare Melania to each host and see who has had the most plastic surgery (Dane Perrino and Jeannine Pirro will give Melania a run for her money).

Trump knew that 60 minutes would ask how many times Trump has talked to Putin since he left office.

Bob Woodward is reporting that Trump has talked to Trump 7 times since leaving office

[quote] Woodward writes that Trump has stayed in touch with Putin after leaving office.

[quote] In one scene, Woodward recounts a moment at Mar-a-Lago where Trump tells a senior aide to leave the room so “he could have what he said was a private phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.”

[quote] “According to Trump’s aide, there have been multiple phone calls between Trump and Putin, maybe as many as seven in the period since Trump left the White House in 2021,” Woodward writes.

I'm not doom and gloom, but I am really glad she and Walz are doing this. It's smart and it keeps them prominent beyond the tedium of yet another rally. But. We need a massive, massive turn out on November 5th. I'm watching Trump's multiple visits to Wisconsin, and PA, and Georgia, and Michigan, and it is bothering the shit out of me, because I believe the 2016 election was stolen. It would not surprise me to see them attempt the same thing again. I said attempt. All it takes is a few votes per precinct to alter the outcome by a few thousand votes. His recent comments about how he is going to "get rid of all the Jew haters" should be useful in Michigan for the Dems. The Arab community in Michigan is divided right now but his comments should give them something to think about. As for PA, and Wisconsin, turnout is critical. Absolutely. And I'm also looking at the Senate races. Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Tester in Montana, and the woman in Maryland trying to defeat the former Republican governor. This election should not be close. We have the corporate media to thank for normalizing this POS pig fucker.

So what? Look, his former bestie Jeffrey is dead! He's lonely, down there in that big old house by the sea with only Walt to change his diaper. He needs to talk to other psychopaths! Give him a break.

by Anonymousreply 17October 8, 2024 1:30 PM

Everything you said, R16. I check all the polling every Tuesday and I'm not at all OK with how close it looks.

by Anonymousreply 18October 8, 2024 1:46 PM

r16, one hundred percent. the legacy media is beholden to clicks and trump always delivers for them
