So what's the latest? Is English Teacher still on FX? Has Alvarez been cancelled?

I find the woe is me straight guy neo-stereotype in these kinds of stories to be frustrating. He’s emulating the “I froze and did nothing bc I was in fear” women’s comment, which women often discuss because they legitimately have reason to fear for their physical safety when these kinds of situations happen to them. There are statistics to back this up. This guy however…I don’t believe for a second felt in, or was in any sort of danger. Saying “I was raped” also seems to be fairly eyebrow raising, and kinda patronizing to people that have experienced rape.

Sure they seem to have had a weird interpersonal relationship between the three of them, and sure that behaviour on set is inappropriate / stupid, but it was also a YouTube web series tiny production.

Also firmly believe there’s a “gay panic” element to this story. After reading the article, it definitely sounds like sexual assault. At first it sounded like they may have been in a relationship, but that wasn’t even the case.
