Nebraska move to help Trump fails.
A key Republican in the Nebraska state legislature appears to have doomed a Republican push to change how the state counts its electoral votes.
Donald Trump and Republican members of Congress last week urged Nebraska Republicans to alter their electoral vote protocol so the state's five electoral votes all go to Trump, instead of allowing one to go to the Democratic candidate based on how Nebraskans vote. Nebraska and Maine are the only states that don't follow a winner-take-all formula.
“I have taken time to listen carefully to Nebraskans and national leaders on both sides of the issue. After deep consideration, it is clear to me that right now, 43 days from Election Day, is not the moment to make this change," State Sen. Mike McDonnell (R) said in a statement Monday.
As the Nebraska Examiner reported, "McDonnell’s no on winner-take-all leaves Republicans in Nebraska’s officially nonpartisan Legislature with no path to overcoming a promised filibuster unless a Democrat or nonpartisan senator defects."
Republicans who represent Nebraska in Congress told HuffPost last week they believe their winner-take-all push remained a few votes short.

R4 Nice try, but I checked. The down-to-the-minute time stamps are gone now that both threads are a couple hours old, but you were a couple minutes behind the original thread.

May not make a difference, since Georgia is changing at the last minute.
[quote]Donald Trump's allies on the Georgia Election Board are changing the certification process just weeks before the polls open, including forcing the entire state to hand count results. Mother Jones correspondent Ari Berman shares why Georgia's new protocol could cause major delays and help put Trump back in the White House.

They spend more time trying to Jerry rig the system instead of building coalitions.

Republicans don't need to expand their voting base. They need to prevent the other side from voting fairly. That's how Trump will win.

No, but the one electoral vote could sway the election. Read up on it before you chuckle.
