Something about Nuzzi has always struck me as odd, and I feel like these recent developments sort of explain it. Since she first got on the public radar, she carried herself like a veteran, and not in a way that rare as confident. She had a smug “knowingness” about her that I’ve always found off putting. I remember seeing her during the 2016 election slagging off on Hillary about this or that, and couldn’t understand what business this child reporter had criticizing Hillary fucking Clinton as viciously as she was.

Nuzzi seems like she studied and tried to emulate every stereotype about the brassy, boozy, ball-busting “star reporter” broad. Kind of like those girls who just wanted to be famous so they chose singing as a way to get there, it’s as if journalism was simply her vehicle to make her “famous.”

Yet, she’s a good reporter. She can write well and has done some very good work at NY. Give NY Magazine credit for staffing several good writers who happen to be woman. I like Sarah Jones’ insights as bout religion and politics, for example.

Keith went on 2 dates with Ingraham, she got very drunk.
He lived with Katy Tur for a few years and according to his podcast today, he lived with Olivia for 3 years or so.
I love his energetic podcast, he reads James Thurber stories every Friday and dishes "stories he promised not to tell" everyday.
