Lopez has always been an idiot, and an asshole. He took over the role of Zach in the A Chorus Line revival, and was a horror. He insisted on having his costume changed to show off his biceps, and had Zach's assistant Larry wear a hoodie, because that actor had more impressive guns. He would literally go outside the theater during Paul's monologue, and twice left the actor sobbing onstage while stage managers scrambled to find him.
