One of the sideswiped cars looked borderline totaled, while others appeared to have significant damage, but maybe not enough to hit a high deductible. Not sure about the car that was hit when his own truck flipped.

I wonder what assets the driver has. He could be sued by at least a half dozen people, not including the tow truck driver and company.

This man may not have insurance. People's own insurance doesn't magically cover this type of thing. People have to have UNINSURED MOTORIST insurance for their repairs to be covered under their policy. A lot of people can't afford UMI.

Even if he does have insurance, it doesn't pay for everything. It only pays a certain limit and even then it only pays for a certain amount of vehicles. Depending on the state it's between 3 or 5 vehicles in one incident. So anymore cars than that, are NOT COVERED.

Plus, even if people have UMI, their deductibles will go up for at least 3 YEARS (in some states more). It does NOT matter if someone else was at fault.

Here’s on the ground footage of moments after his truck flipped off the tow truck in the street (the perpetrator and tow truck obviously have driven off). You can see the official tow truck driver that was assaulted walking around talking on his phone. The bus that the flipped-over truck stopped is still parked in the street running. The police seem to have just shown up. The perpetrator and tow truck are not around.
