Question about "A Little Romance" (1979) airing on TCM tomorrow night
Looking at the TCM schedule for this weekend, they will be airing the movie 'A Little Romance' tomorrow evening. I wanted to DVR it since I won't be home, but TCM won't let me. When I click on it to 'add to my library' (I have TCM via YouTubeTV) there is no option to add to library - it just says 'Return to TCM'. Anyone know why it's not recordable ? Is it a TCM issue or a YouTubeTV issue ?
PS - when it shows up on the linear YTTV schedule, there is an eyeball icon crossed out - I've never seen that before on any scheduled programs or movies on YouTubeTV - what does that mean ?

That happened to me on SlingTV once, but it somehow still recorded to my DVD roster. It’s a charming film that looks a bit like a television film stylistically. I watched for the period imagery of Paris, and for Olivier. The younger actors have a strange precocity to them.
I sometimes get a blue box with a title card stating that some films are not available on screening devices, usually independent films, often from the 1970’s.

This shit happens all the time on SlingTV. Sometimes they'll even show half the movie before they stop it and say the rightsholder hasn't authorized it to be shown on streaming services.

Thanks R1 and R2. I've always wanted to see this movie, as it stars a very young Diane Lane (I think it was her debut) and I really enjoy her work the past few years (she better win an Emmy for her work in 'Feud').
So I guess this is not an issue on TCM's side, it must be the carrier - Sling and YouTubeTV,

Never mind. They started showing Little Romance just now but the dreaded blue card popped up after the opening scene.

R6 The one saying it’s not authorized for streaming.

That blue title card appears and twinkling music plays, and it’s infuriating. Fortunately it happens only seldomly, at least for the films that I try to record and watch.
