One can hardly believe the insolence of the hired staff—it's not even eleven o’’clock in the morning, and already they're displaying a regrettable lack of respect. How does one swiftly remind them of their station and firmly reassert the natural order of things? I will not tolerate them turning away and walking off while I’m in mid-sentence.
