Its not a terrible city by any means, and parts are quite attractive but I cant think of any tourist attractions that people specifically come here for from overseas, maybe locally from other parts of the country

R57 - The Jet D'eau in Geneva is a strange thing - it's not a marvel by any means. Maybe it was when it was first built over 125 years ago, but it's literally just a jet of water going straight up in the lake from a mechanical system they put there. Yet everyone always talks about it. A large fountain in the middle of a lake. Most cities on the water could do the exact same thing - I don't understand why they slap themselves on the back for it. But that's tourist attractions.

Tourists can get off of I-5 and go out to the coast, though, so if you stretch the definition of “my town” to include the Pacific Ocean, 49 miles away, it does have one thing going for it.

Back in the old days if someone asked how to get to Marietta they were usually told "just head north on 41 and turn left at the big chicken. Pilots at the nearby Air Force base actually use that chicken as visual guides on their landing maneuvers.
