I'm wondering who on here has organized one or had to have one for their own benefit.
We know from many threads here that GFM grifts are a dime a dozen - maybe even a dime a hundred.
But in the last few years I've either organized or been a "team captain" for three different friends that needed medical care (in one case, a liver transplant).
It just makes me sad that in a country that's supposed to have the world's best health care, even a fairly stable person with a decent job and/or savings has to go out and basically beg for help for things insurance doesn't or won't cover.....if they're even lucky enough to HAVE insurance.
