It's great you've achieved a financial goal, but...
If you don't own your own home, where are you planning on putting said washer and dryer?
If you're in a rental, you should probably be certain the electrical and plumbing, not to mention venting for the dryer, are sufficient. MANY places do not have washers and dryers because the plumbing is too old to handle it or would require electrical work to handle the appliances.

Once upon a time, back in the 90s when I was in grad school in the hellhole that is CT, I made a vow that after I got my degree, I would [bold]never never never ever[/bold] go to a laundromat again. EVER!!!!
And with a few notable exceptions (like on the road on my motorcycle), I never have.
