8 out of 10 of those movies (8/12-8/18) were theatrical releases.

So hostile and ageist, OP. I can see why you’re stuck at home alone watching third-rate films.

I’m confused how streaming movies like Netflix and etc make money on movies that cost like $130 million.

A lot of popular shows get cancelled from streaming services because the budgets are so big.

So it always confuses me.

What film has Netflix produced that cost $130 mil.

Many DLers keep claiming real movie stars will not make Netflix exclusive films. It is simply not true. Look at the streaming numbers. It’s a reality. It’s the future. Movie theaters will be a thing of the past sans event films and other type novelties.

The only reason The Deliverance had a limited theater release was for award consideration. Netflix will start making movie theaters for big tent films and other 3D action films. Then release the films for like 3 weeks. Watch and see. I always predict the future.
