I don't think the press has been easy on Trump. I do think it's been easy on the Trump/Melania "relationship". Maybe out of some misguided feminist thought that the wife has her own life and shouldn't be forced to be next to her husband. But it's really quite telling that she is never there. . She has already secured herzelf a place in the history books as a First Lady. Since she obviously has no political ambitions of her own, a second Trump term would only bring her more misery. I have never seen Melania as a sun worshipper or beach lover. So that part of your imaginary scenarios doesn't work for me. I think she likes indoors spas and climate controlled homes. I think her main activity is self maintenance with some personal shopping assistance, scheming how to increase her nest egg, taking care of her Slovenian family, etc. She had a pretty normal boyfriend in NYC - the mature hunk Tiffany security guy.
