Keep calm and get under his skin: How Harris is preparing for her first Trump debate
Craziest part of the whole thing? She and Trump have never actually met in person!
[quote]Among Harris' chief aims are to avoid being pulled into Trump’s personal attacks by remaining calm and focused on talking about how her presidency would help everyday people. While Harris’ team is preparing to talk about a variety of topics, the campaign very much views the optics of the debate as critically important. To that end, Harris and her team are focusing on homing in on how to needle Trump to rattle him.
[quote]Drawing a distinction between Harris and Biden is a source of tension, as some on Harris’ team are taking the approach that she may have to respectfully but forcefully lay blame for some problems, like the Afghanistan withdrawal, squarely at Biden's feet.

Kamala can basically snooze through it and still come out on top.

"Goya Foods CEO Robert Unanue accused the Harris-Biden administration of being “complicit” in child trafficking and human trafficking by failing to control the southern border.
Unanue leveled the claim after criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris’ pivot to focus on “price controls” for groceries and other goods.
“How about the United States — instead of being the complicit middlemen in child trafficking, human trafficking and drugs — why don’t they put a lid on that and control our borders,” Unananue said Sunday during an interview on WABC’s “The Cats Roundtable.”"

The only thing you can lay at Biden's feet are the 200 THOUSAND people successfully evacuated from Kabul.
Trump negotiated with the Taliban directly, and that caused the collapse of the Afghani Government.
Gotta wonder how much cash Trump got from the Taliban?

R2: that guy "has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump". Not exactly an objective voice.

R1 the unbelievable level of delusion.
It will not be an easy task. Kamala is rather weak in articulating her thoughts. Plus she seems like a decent person and would not outscream Trump like for eg AOC would.

r4 Yep, his products got cancelled by the libs and embraced by deplorables after he came out for Trump even (I think) before 2020. It doesn't matter at all what he's yapping on about now, I don't know why r2 decided to post that.

She's needling him already!
[quote]Kamala Harris has complained to ABC News that she will be “disadvantaged” by the format of next Tuesday’s televised showdown with Donald Trump.
[quote]While agreeing to the rules of the debate, Harris’ campaign has written to the network saying the former prosecutor is unhappy about the candidates’ microphones being muted when it’s not their turn to speak. Harris believes Trump insisted on the condition to shield him from any head-to-head confrontations, according to CNN, quoting a letter sent from the Harris campaign to ABC News.
[quote]“Vice President Harris, a former prosecutor, will be fundamentally disadvantaged by this format, which will serve to shield Donald Trump from direct exchanges with the Vice President. We suspect this is the primary reason for his campaign’s insistence on muted microphones,” the letter is reported as saying.
