She does talk about being a rebellious teenager in high school and was suspended from school for getting drunk during a football game. My take is Whitmer was probably like a bunch of other teens in 80s who just partied and slept around. The people bitching about her high school life probably weren't any better than her in high school. It reminds me of the movie Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, where the two main characters are watching the scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts' character Vivian gets kicked out of the Beverly Hills fashion store. The character Romy makes the comment " Yeah - like those salesgirls in Beverly Hills aren't bigger whores than she is.
