Johnny McGovern - AKA The Gay Pimp
Anyone else listen to his podcast? He was just starting out while I was in college in NYC and we had a lot of mutual friends. After graduation, I took work pretty seriously and got out of the club scene but I remember being a little jealous of all the fun they seemed to be having. I stayed in touch with a few friends in the Tunnel/Limelight/Twilo scene but didn't follow them the smaller club parties that evolved in the early 2000's.
At any rate, listening to Johnny has been a trip down memory lane, both of a scene I was in and what I heard about later on. (House of Avaince, Mr. Black, etc)
On the patreon, he recently had Ericatoure Aviance on and she was remembering working for Sandra Lee along with some other club kids during the day and it was pretty hilarious, considering how much she has been discussed here.

He was cute when he was young (@ the time of "Soccer Practice"), but he got fat and sloppy and avoided the gym.

Well, we've all aged, lol. I still think he's kind of sexy in a burly, bear way and he definitely has a seductive voice for podcasting. And he's funny!
