All because he asked her a question on WWHL regarding comments she actually DID make regarding the housewives shows. She claims she was "ambushed" and that her daughter was there watching WWHL in the studio. Why the hell was her underage daughter watching WWHL?

R43, Nene has so many. Even when she became unbearable (season 6 onwards), she still had some great moments. Bethenny was great in the first 3 seasons of RHONY but she acted like it was "her" show when she came back. And she acts like she is the biggest Bravo star of all time. Which is funny because RHONY never got the ratings Jersey, Beverly Hills or (especially) peak Atlanta did.

R47, I hear what you're saying about ratings, but if I had to rewatch any of the RHs, it would probably be early RHONY and early RHOBH. I enjoy that passive-aggressive shit more than the actual physical brawls (NJ, Atlanta). However, the season of NJ that Joe Gorga made his appearance really was fantastic - nothing like family drama.

R48, don't get me wrong, I think RHONY is the best of the bunch (despite the lower ratings) but it's due to the other women on the show, not Bethenny. Hell, I think the Aviva years are my favorite because I think Aviva is a great contrived villain (but her father is just gross) and no Bethenny.

Nene is hands down the housewife with the most natural star quality - effortlessly funny, flamboyant but also very “main character”. She and Bethenny have the same housewives arc - the wiseacre breakout star “success story” housewife who starts to look like she’ll crack into more legitimate celebrity but then has to come back to the show with her tail between her legs and grows so resentful of being bound to housewives (despite getting the kid glove treatment by production) that she ultimately poisons the well.

Lisa Vanderpump and Teresa Giudice shared the housewives flaw of a complete inability to ever admit they are wrong about anything and a suffocating insistence on punishing disloyalty from their “supporting cast”.

Kyle Richards and Gizelle Bryant share a too transparent delight in sorority house bullying - Kyle’s a classic Gretchen Weiners beta type, but she’s at her most watchable when she’s sobbing into her hair and being put through the ringer by her actual sisters. Gizelle is much more alpha in control, but much more closed off and after years of getting to gloatingly haze the other wives for being “not our kind” on a show that is about a very specific Black milieu now has to deal with a fan discourse that basically has decided that everything she does is anti-Black and deeply problematic.

For my money, it’s Vicki Gunvalson, who I think is easily the most rotted of the big name OGs, that is in fact the best of the bunch at being a real housewife!

Gizelle can be just plain boring, though, IMO. She and Robin, together, even more boring.

I have a hard time watching RHOC b/c they're all LOUD and I'm making an educated guess: they're all Trump voters.
