I don't understand the fascination with Bourdain. After his unfortunate demise, the series was kept alive for $$ reasons only; the network paid for it and they were going to air it, dammit! They created a "legend" out of a very interesting chef filmed in exotic locations. He was a good guy, a great chef, but no more than hundreds of others who haven't committed suicide.

Bourdain was such a creep.

I liked Ripert; he humanized Tony & seemed genuinely interested in the people & places they visited, without Bourdain's tiresome attitude.

I think Bourdain is interesting as a cautionary tale about be careful what you wish for - you might get it - but I wonder if there's anything new to say about him at this point

Sessa can be seen in the new Britbox series “Outrageous” about the Mitford sisters. The first two episodes have dropped and they’re good.

Sessa plays head of the UK fascist party, Oswald Mosley, looks extraordinarily handsome and is quite good in the part.

This doesn’t need a biopic.

Why can’t Hollywood get it through their thick skulls that not every person is worthy of a biopic?!

Didn’t Bourdain do what a handful of celebrities did around the same time, like Chris Cornell, and accidentally double up on his antidepressant meds? You had a handful of people on these meds just up and kill themselves.
