Why does this look more obviously CG to me than the first movie back in 2009? Is it because it takes place in daylight? It's like CG technology hasn't advanced much since then, which I know can't be true. I bet it would look better if they did it with AI.

I think James Cameron gets more enjoyment out of these movies than any member of the audience. They feel masturbatory. I wish he would devote his energy to something else.
