I love WE GOT ANNIE and that's it.

My sisters and I regularly quote Annie at our big ages.

"SAUNDERS? GET ME A DRINK"

"Why do I smell wet dog?"

"We found 5th Avenue!"

"Put it in your pocket, Mrs. Mudge."

Shitty Little Annie!

I love Annie! I was 3 or 4 when it came out. There was a big promotion going on at my local minor league baseball team, with an Annie look alike contest. I’m a boy, so obviously (at the time) I was not allowed to compete but I went to see it and the real Annie actress was a judge! I waited in line with my mom and shook her hand. She said, “I’ll tell Sandy you said hi!” (I vaguely remember all this and my mom has confirmed) I still have a 45 record with Tomrrow and Take me to the Movies on it. I would watch the film multiple times as a kid once we taped it off HBO. So many great lines and I love Carol Burnett and Tim Curry in it. I could go on and on about my love for this movie.

R6, I bet your mom was shocked when you came out.

"Shut up about that little ginger-haired slut!"

My mom wouldn’t allow me to see it

Too much sex and violence?

I was the age of Aileen Quinn when i first saw it in the cinema...and Adored it. Numerous watches later and id watch it if it was on now. Carol Burnetts Miss Hanigan is priceless. I especially love the comedy in Easy Street. Its a classic right up there with Oz, Wonka, Oliver! and Sound of music as movies that should be passed down the generations.

I was 6 when this movie came out, and I was completely obsessed. It was one of the first VHS tapes we actually bought. I wore the shit out of that tape. I was quite the little homo.
