No. I watched season 1 and it was OK for light entertainment.

Season 2 - I watched maybe 2 episodes and knew I didn’t want more of it.

Another season doesn’t interest me.

Funny, R4 (and fair enough) but I had the reverse. I hated S1 and turned it off. Watched S2 long after it aired and quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to S3 as really like Coon.

For some reason, The White Lotus seasons start slowly, IMO. I just recently watched S2 and loved it more than S1!! I'm glad I stuck with both.

Parker Posey for the win!

I'm not sure it's going to work without Jennifer Coolidge. She made the first two seasons.

She was the weakest link for me. I was always wanting her to just shut up.

Parker Posey provides the camp value Coolidge did.

For an edgy show about tourists in Thailand, there don't seem to be any pedos or ladyboys in the trailer.

Why does Christian Friedel sound "Asian" (rather than German?)

Coolidge won 2 Emmys for the show. She was the star of the show.

White Lotus: Hotel Estrogen

I'm still looking forward to it, but none of those lines in the trailer landed for me. Might just be that the dialogue in this show doesn't lend itself well to trailer edits, I think I had the same reaction in previous seasons and they ended up being great.

It's interesting because I thought that the second season had too many male characters, the scenes with that toxic all-male family were a slog. So this season might be an (over)correction for that.

Based on this thread and what I've read online about this season I won't bother to renew my HBO subscription until Hacks returns.

Just watched the first episode of season three today. Victoria Ratliff, played by Parker Posey, started out sounding like Little Edie of Grey Gardens. By the end the of episode she seemed to have lost that accent altogether.

The episode's music was dark and ominous, as were many scenes. It reminded me of movies where people move into a creepy old house that is obviously haunted. Instead of getting out of there they stick around until they are murdered. This episode reminded me of that. Like, get out now!

Still, love this series. I'll keep watching, can't wait to see which characters come to a bad end.

I thought it was hilarious that Parker Posey was dressed like a vintage Charmin’ Chatty Cathy doll in the first episode.
