A friend of mine is one of six children, he and two of his brothers are gay.
He says they had a typical boring upbringing, no trauma and both biological parents raised them. It points to a 'nature' explanation - whether that's genes or hormones in the uterus, etc.

They must be homeschooled. Or maybe kids don’t bully each other to high hell for being the bit different these days?
I can only think one of them decided to be trans or non-binary and the others saw the special attention they were getting and didn’t want to be left out, “wait a minute, I’M trans too!!!!”
There’s a whole generation of kids gonna learn that wearing a dress and changing pronouns doesn’t in fact solve your problems and make you a happier person. In fact, it’ll probably just create a whole set of new problems.

I think kids do still bully each other for being gay. Only recently I overheard a load of teenagers arguing and - as one of them walked away - one of them yelled something like "yeah fuck off then gay boy" after him. I also hear them say things like "that's gay" to mean something is bad.
It was quite depressing as they talk exactly like my fellow classmates did back in the 90s.

My oldest friend is the oldest son in a family of 6, 3 boys, 3 girls. All 3 girls are gay. All 3 boys are straight.
It’s just who they are. No big deal.
