Kamala's campaign has been SO smart in just two short weeks. I really hope they don't have their first major fuck up by selecting Shapiro. It's absolutely bullshit that she can't win PA without him. There are too many negatives...

- The sexual harassment cover-up

- The virulent anti-Arab / anti-progressive approach to Gaza peace activists

- The fact that his "landslide" win in PA wasn't so huge because everyone LOVED him, but because he was competing against a DEEPLY unpopular Far-Right, Christian fascist loon.

- When he was AG, Shapiro put pressure on Philadelphia's progressive DA to move further RIGHT and even signed a bill allowing him to fire the DA and appoint someone (presumably) more conservative

Just. No. You've got Tim and Andy right there, Kamala.

PREACH, R1! I'm so sick of the media pushing this idea that a Dem can't win PA in 2024! Biden/Harris won Pennsylvania in 2020; Obama won it in 2008 and 2012. Trump won PA in 2016 because HRC assumed she had it in the bag and didn't campaign there enough. So, no, she doesn't need Shapiro to win PA. Dems have won PA just fine in the past election cycles.

Shapiro would slow down the momentum and excitement the Harris campaign has generated so far. Walz or Beshear would be the best choices for vice president running mates.
