Many traffic cops are often stopping drivers without just cause. They are not drunk driving or high on anything, but they only have valid methods for testing alcohol consumption, not cannabis or other drugs, unless there is a blood test. So either due to a power trip or trying to meet a quota , they make arbitrary arrests.

Here's just one obvious example.

Some of them are attractive, but I wouldn't want to interact with them at all. I can only imagine how utterly insane, violent and bigoted most of them are. This is one of those cases in which the fantasy will always be better than real life, because real life can be deadly.

R5, I know a few cops. The ones I know are college educated and open-minded. One is the chief of police in my town. He's interesting and well read. He's married with three kids and worries about putting them through college.

There are plenty who are MAGA-supporting morons, who are little more than thugs with badges. But there are plenty of others who do their job well, respect the rule of law, and realize that most of the people (apart from violent criminals) they must deal with have problems and empathize with those people.
