I think so many of us, understandably, believed it was suicide.
If it was really suicide, I don't think it would be able to keep hidden for the past year.

Since when is a combination of COPD and asthma at age 56 "natural causes?"

She smoked tobacco, weed, and hash her entire adult life.

R4 So she died because she destroyed her lungs.
That's not "natural causes."

As someone with similar habits, I consider it a slow form of suicide.

R5 Death by natural causes is a very broad general term, which is why I question it when some press releases state that term. Cancer, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer , pneumonia, etc. They can all be categorized as natural causes. Car crash, murder, suicide, not natural causes.

R7 Back in the day, "natural causes" was generally meant to be old age.

The poor woman, she probably couldn't breathe.

She had posted so many semi-suicidal messages on social media in the years before she died. Wanting to join her son, etc. I never would have guessed she died of something else.

Suicide by asthma seems like a rough way to go.
Just buy a gram of fentanyl and stick it in a Twinkie
Leave $20 for the maid

She was so beautiful when she was younger. I had big crush on her when I saw her Nothing Compares 2 U video even though I've never had a thing bald women. I thought she looked delicate, sweet and damaged. My 11 year old self wanted to kiss her and save her.

Met Sinead a handful of times: rather shy and tiny. It's quite incredible how she made the mark she did. And how right she was about the church.

Yes, she was right about the Catholic Church and how they hide sex crimes by their priests. But one should expect at least some blow back when overtly criticizing a major religion.

Her documentary is lovely, and really fills in a lot of blanks about her life.
I feel the same as I do with Courtney Love.....the fact that a person so abused in their youth is able to function in any way at all as an adult is a fucking miracle.
