Personally, I think that she ought to be a much bigger star than she is nowadays. She has an extremely versatile voice with a rather peculiar tone and great musicality. However, the issue with Eddie Cibrian cheating on that shrew Brandi, and then leaving her for Leanne, did affect her career and after a few years of being tabloid fodder, the both of them sort of slid down to the lower echelons of the C-List.

Still, if they're both as wealthy as R7 says, I can see why they don't need to work as much as years ago.

R28, country music was massive in the 00s. I think its more that she just peaked early and couldn't or didn't want to be a bigger star.

Her whole career however was being the kid with the big voice. “She sounds like a grown woman!” “Reincarnated Patsy Cline!” “Are those songs too grown up for her? She is still a kid.” Then she hit 18 and everyone realized she still sang the same but the young novelty was gone. This was also the height of Britney/Christina/Jessica and so they tried to lump Leann in the blonde teen idol categories. She couldn’t dance, didn’t want to, but she needed to be more than a big voice. She couldn’t hold up in the court of public opinion. Country stopped wanting her, but she didn’t have enough appeal to go pop.

Leann is the cause of her misfortune. If she had simply kept her head down and not stalked Brandi Glanville and just kept quiet the affair would have passed and people would have forgotten. However, she wouldn’t let them forget. She is the one who leaked the affair, then constantly harassed Brandi to a scary degree. Plus once she got with Eddie she was terrified to leave him alone and needed to keep tabs on him. She would cancel a lot of her shows with some half hearted apology to her fans.

Leann could have had a much different career than she has now but she’s lazy and doesn’t want to do the work. She may have “won” Eddie but that “win” cost her everything.

She’s homely, and a homewrecker. She may have a great voice but the court of public opinion issued their ruling and she ain’t coming back from it.

I think the only thing that set Brandi off was an Instagram photo where LeAnn called her stepsons, "my sons" or "our sons"

And if LeAnn went a little cock crazy, can you blame her? She was married to a gay dude, and then Eddie came along, and all of a sudden, she was doing more in bed with a man than getting her hair braided.

Um Brandie Glanville is (or was) more than a handful of drunken craziness and Eddie was serious about his career. So is LeAnn. They're together 13 years now. Brandi and LeAnn are either "acting" or they really are getting along. This is from a couple years ago...

There's no coming back from being a wanton woman.

I think she doesn't actually want her own kids. She looked quite sick during the bikini-wars between B&L, pretty sure she's got an eating disorder, which being with Eddie probably exacerbates because of her own insecurity. Anorexic women aren't big on kids, she easily could've afforded to go the embryo/surrogate route too. I think she says she wanted them because that's better PR, and whats expected of her, and can't afford to offend any demographic, including women who think another woman is an alien if she doesn't live to have kids.
