We have our first look at Jake in Freaky Friday 2!!
Chad Michael Murray is reprising his role as the motorcycle riding heartthrob turned love interest for Lindsay Lohan‘s Anna Coleman.
While filming began a few weeks ago, it looks like Chad is just getting onto set to start filming his scenes.
“Jake is back, baby,” Disney Studios captioned the pic, which you can see below. “The sequel to Freaky Friday is coming to theaters 2025.”
Jamie Lee Curtis shared the photo on her own Instagram story, writing, “Oh, Jake…. @chadmichaelmurray we have MISSED YOU!”

Chad Michael Murray is from that generation of actors born in the late 1970s who are either turning 50 or almost turning 50, like Ryan Philippe, Jensen Ackles, Freddy Prinze Jr., etc., who are all trying desperately to hold on to their youth.
