Brad Pitt’s Hygiene ‘Reformed’ by Girlfriend Ines de Ramon: ‘Changed Smelly Ways’
Brad Pitt was teased for years about supposed poor hygiene including serious BO problems, but sources say he’s totally cleaned up his act thanks to Ines de Ramon who’s got him smelling like a rose.
“He’s really reformed for Ines,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “Brad used to be quite lackadaisical about taking showers and washing his hair, and only wanting to use soap and water when he did shower and refusing to use deodorant or cologne.”
Ines, 34, was Brad’s first serious girlfriend since his split from Angelina Jolie in 2016. Ines began dating the A-list actor, 60, in 2022, shortly after her 2019 marriage to Paul Wesley ended in separation.
Rumors ignited that Brad and Ines were a couple after she was seen with him on his 59th birthday in December 2022. However, their relationship wasn’t confirmed until early 2023 when Page Six obtained photos of the couple sunbathing together during a New Year’s trip to Cabo.
“He’d often go a day or two without bathing, which is astonishing given he’s such a huge sex symbol, but with Ines, it’s a different story,” the insider explains. “He's gone out of his way to change his smelly ways.”
The source says that the couple’s favorite thing to do together is yoga, followed by either a shower or a dip in the pool.
“Brad’s generally paying more attention to clothes he wears and letting her pick out his cologne. She’s even got him flossing his teeth,” the insider concludes. “Now, they love to go out and get pampered at the spa together, like massages and facials. He loves moisturizers and skin creams too; he’s upped his game in this area to everyone’s relief.”

Is this the first ever media confirmation of Brad Pitt's rumored bad hygiene?
I don't think I've ever seen any media story about it before.
In fact, I've only ever read about it here on Datalounge.

Matthew McBongo also has nasty hygiene. Years ago, Tina Fey was on Howard Stern's show and said when McBongo guest hosted SNL he came to a writer's meeting wearing nothing but a sarong (!) and they could all smell crotch and ass funk. Ugh.

Brad Pitt has been a no bathing for weeks and months type of guy for a long time now. I heard about this almost 20 years ago from people who had worked along side him. They have taken on some weird ideology that it is healthier to not bathe for long spans of time. But this is usually people who also smoke, drink excessively, have bad sleep habits and do drugs. So how would any so-called health benefits even materialize if they are fucking up their bodies in so many other ways?

I'm shocked that Gwyneth, and Rachel - oops I mean Jennifer Aniston, and Angelina Jolie were never able to get Brad to improve his hygiene.
It took a tough Latina to set him straight.

It's very common for people who indulge in substance abuse/alcohol to have poor personal hygiene.

I'm serious.

Someone who doesn’t even floss probably isn’t a good wiper.

He probably wipes well, but I don't see how you can be clean down there if you don't shower.
It's gonna stink, no matter what.
But if he doesn't mind underarm funk, then chances are he doesn't mind ass funk either.

This is not Europe 1648 where clean water was scarce and you and your family took turns sharing a tub filled with warm water every couple of months, and in between attempted minor hygiene maintenance with a wet rag and tried to mask body odor with some cheap cologne.

And on top of that, he's a multi-millionare with mansions and private jets and luxury hotel rooms.
There's just no excuse.

[quote] Kate Hudson Says She Could 'Smell' Matthew McConaughey from 'a Mile Away' While Filming “Fool’s Gold”
Kate Hudson is very familiar with Matthew McConaughey’s scent.
On a July 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress and singer, 45, spoke on swirling rumor about her former costar’s body odor.
“Was that old urban legend true that you forced Matthew McConaughey to wear deodorant while filming Fool’s Gold?” asked host Andy Cohen as he read a fan-submitted question.
“No. He doesn’t wear deodorant — and by the way, I don’t either,” Hudson confessed.
She did, however, admit that she could smell the actor “from a mile [away]," adding "they got so close" while filming.
The lore seemingly stemmed from the Oscar-winner himself who, in a past interview with Playboy, said Hudson (with whom he also starred in the 2003 film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) would “always” ask him to the wear salt rock, which can help eliminate odors, she’d bring to set. He never obliged.
But all is well because they’re one in the same. “We’re au naturels,” Hudson said with a laugh.
McConaughey is famously known for being anti-deodorant.

Brad smokes so he still smells bad, smokers don't smell it because they are use to it and the smell is in their nostrils. I can walk behind people in the grocery store and tell who smokes because you can smell it on them 10 feet away, it permeates everything, their skin, their clothes and their hair. I grew up in a house full of smokers, I didn't smell it on me when I lived there but others did because they would ask if I smoked, I never did. Just like bad breath people who have it don't smell it because they live it 24/7 but others smell it.

I used to have younger relatives come visit me for a week or two at a time who lived in smoking households. Although the relatives didn't smoke themselves, when they'd open up their suitcases of clean, folded clothes, the stench of stale cigarette smoke was still there, clinging to the clothes. I felt really sorry for them.

As long as somebody smokes outside, you can't really smell it on them after a few minutes.
Nobody smokes indoors anymore.

I like a bit of underarm smell on the right guy. Not a fan of anti-perspirants. But not washing? No excuse, seriously. Washing and brushing your teefh is common courtesy if you intend to be in the company of just anyone. It's the basis of any self respect too.

Some people DO still smoke indoors, but like R32 I only encounter it in the grocery store.

I used to work as a typist for civil/sanitary engineers — yes, I’m that old — and once worked on an O&M manual for wastewater treatment plant operators. The manual warned operators that a hazardous gas is produced as part of the process of treating wastewater and that they must never assume the gas is not present just because they can’t smell it, and it went on to say that after a certain time period (I think it was 15 minutes) they could be surrounded by the gas and unable to detect the smell at all.
Then, some time later I happened to walk by a crowd of people who were waiting to be admitted into a building at the Seattle Center for a performance by either the opera or the ballet and I smelled that crowd when I was a full city block away, They absolutely reeked and I suddenly realized why.
They had gotten all gussied up at home, dousing themselves in whatever product they thought smelled good and then, 15 minutes later, thought the scent had dissipated and had put more on, each of them repeating that process how many times no one knows, with the result that the whole herd was just olfactorily disgusting.
Bottom line: if you take a deep breath and can’t tell that you smell bad it doesn’t mean you don’t.

r34, I work with people who smoke outside all the time, and unless they're wearing gloves and smoking a cigarette with a fork with their hair back, I can absolutely smell it on them, even if they mouthwash and use hand sanitizer on their hands. It gets in their hair and facial hair.

It takes a little while for the smoke smell to go away but I've noticed that after a few minutes I can't smell it anymore.
