Her recent, short season of Trixie Motel on MAX was entertaining. A handful of episodes with good humor.

She is taking a break from Drag, Trixie is still running her cosmetics as well as he other things going on (music etc) and with Katya taking a break it was easy for Trixie to piggy back on that.

I'm happy for her. The pace she's worked in recent years would make anyone collapse. Hope she figures out a healthier path for herself.

Noticed there was no mention of partner David Silver regarding the break itinerary. Maybe he'll be home minding the store, or maybe he's out of the picture.

I enjoy Trixie's silly vids - the Barbie collecting, the easy bake oven, making fun of the hot Christmas toys of the year, etc. I don't get into the makeup vids because I don't wear makeup and find its application incredibly dull.

r16 I dunno, I mean she has a cosmetics company that sells out regularly, touring, her music, a motel in PS. a three million dollar house in Hollywood and a separate condo she uses just to film youtube and keep her drag. That 10 mil seems accurate if not under.

Oh for crissakes, Trixie. We all call this a holiday. A vacation. From our jobs. It's not a momentous or portentous choice.

any weird rumors or specific issue here? I've been skeptical of "exhaustion" for people who aren't fortune 500 ceos, addicts, or something extreme. I'm a fan but curious....

This is old r26. She is already back working.

She just took a few months vacation from working. Wouldn't be all love to do that if we could.

R27 He's an admitted workaholic who hadn't had any kind of significant break. for quite a long time.

The Ru gals who are super successful are the ones who work their asses off. Trixie, Bianca, Jinkx, Latrice, Dela, Bob....they're out there hustling all the time.

Katya, too, I guess, but I think Katya gets pulled along because of Trixie. Though to be fair, Trixie and Katya are a great team...they complement each other. And, they're less interesting when it's just them alone.

She's been back for a few weeks now, and after listening to several videos from her channel, her podcast with Katya, other podcasts she's guested on, and the Netflix show, not once have I heard her mention David Silver. She did mention she was thinking about getting a pet bird, which previously was out of the question because David had a bird phobia. Not trying to get all Detective LaToya about it, but since their relationship was so public they have to anticipate some curiosity about it.

Coming out of their original drag race season (and Katya's All Stars run) Katya was more popular and originally it was her boosting Trixie. Things have definitely changed, but helpful to keep in mind.
