I love the way these self-important narcissists are like, “We can’t let Trump win!” And in the next breath say, “So let’s demolish our party and create irreparable damage and division!” Yeah, right.

I also wonder what the Russians or whomever have on Mia, George Clooney, Jon Stewart, Rob Reiner, etc. because these celebrities are flippin’ faster than a grill full of hamburgers during lunch time at Wendy’s. Clooney, in particular, just raised $14M in support of Biden at a highly publicised benefit less than three weeks ago - an event that Biden probably should’ve skipped to rest up for the now disastrous debate. I’ll bet Clooney told him he had to do that as well. But, my gawd, the superficiality. How superficial would you have to be to flip less than month later? Not because of anything scandalous - it’s not like Biden was arrested or admitted to be a serial sexual assaulter of women or anything. He just didn’t have a great debate on a night when ALL the pressure was on him and nobody else. Good gawd.

What’s funny is that these celebrities think they have power, like they’re doing what’s best, etc. without any realisation at all that they are flushing any credibility they had left right down the drain. It’s hilarious.

A Democratic win in November is almost certainly a lost cause now. The American media - which has always been in the bag for Trump, obviously, and now more obviously than ever - figured out that the surest way to a Trump win would be to weaponise the Democratic Party against itself. And it didn’t take much. 👏👏👏👏

Since I do not vote in a swing state, my vote has always been a largely symbolic gesture but I don’t think I’m even going to bother now, I’m so thoroughly turned off by the party. And I know now for sure that in the event of a zombie apocalypse, I certainly won’t be allying myself with any Democrats. Not if the intention is to survive.

R3 did you watch Biden’s performance at the debate? If not, I encourage you to do so. Watch the entire thing. He is visibly diminished, stares blankly, fumbles for words and cannot complete sentences. It is clear that he is suffering a stress decline in his abilities. He cannot beat Trump and he could not effectively serve as president.

As for Clooney, read his full op-ed. He said that when Biden showed up at the fundraiser, the man he saw was the same man he saw in the debate stage. In other words, this is actually his mental state and the debate performance was not an anomaly. He’s not being a hypocrite, he’s being honest.
